Explains how any businessperson can gain effectiveness in both personal and business terms. The author provides practical advice on every aspect of image and presentation, including dress, personality, managing a crisis, dealing with the media, branding new products and corporate identity.
A career in the global business world - factory management, speech writing, policy advisor/co-ordinator, travel industry spokesman, public relations consultancy - provides my roots for thriller writing and self-help books, published and translated internationally. It began with my first thriller, The Nuclear Letters, which Time Magazine reviewed as 'credible and unnerving' and which the Oxford Times said had 'Ian Fleming-ish exuberance of imagination'. Ian Fleming's middle name was Lancaster, but sadly no relation! My guide to self improvement, The 20% Factor, led to lively debate in The Times and elsewhere when I said that for most of us conforming was a better way to succeed than becoming a corporate maverick. I also have had short stories published, a format I enjoy. Story telling is something authors love to do, but listening to and observing the rich experiences of others is just as important. My last two thrillers Grave Song and Payback - have just been published as e-books from Endeavour Press - and can be found on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Grave-Song-Gr...
