tasteless and degrading …maybe it’s the self loathing in this book where the heroine never gets better for herself. Breathing life into pathetic female characters 🤮The now and then chapters are annoying…as it’s throughout the book .

Heroine came across as a doormat. She doesn’t want to tell Manson she’s getting married to someone else which is the reason she wants a divorce. However she doesn’t want to hurt him so She’s agrees to sign to 30 days of being with him before he signs the divorce papers 🙄 then she’s a sad sack when he gets with multiple OW at his place with her there and in front of her while she’s supposedly waiting for her divorce. Then she cheats on her fiancé with Manson while the ow he slept with the night before watches them.

Obviously I hate this book bc the heroine is pathetic right to the end over a man - what 🗑

Wow, as always Sienna knows how to break your heart several times along with her characters and then put it all back together.
This story was about Mason and Rachel. 2 broken people found love and a miscommunication caused them to lose each other.
They finally get a 2nd chance but both struggle to get past how they lost each other. There were times I really hated Mason for all his Miss Last Nights while Rachel was there. My heart hurt along with Rachel. But he redeemed himself and I loved him by the end. Loved Rachel and her wild personality.
The book is a journey of both of them finding themselves and finally accepting love and to love. It was another brilliant book by Sienna.
Can't wait for Rian's story.

Dirty Ink is Mason and Rachel's story and it's sooooooo deliciously dirty. This tattooed bad boy is possibly my favorite character in the Dublin Ink series, so far. He can't seem to help himself. He's determined, intense and most definitely swoon worthy. These two are smokin hot and will leave you breathless. They'll take you on a heckuva ride!

DNF

This first book in this series was a 5* and honestly I was expecting the same with this one. With what I read I couldn't in all honesty finish it. It should have known when I couldn't get into the story to start with. Normally this author,s work I love but not this one.

Dirty Ink is Book 2 in the Dublin Ink Series and it is just as sexy, fun, & flirty as Book 1. Mason has 2 rules he lives by and when the one who got away returns to Dublin he doesn’t know what to do about it. Rachel has tried to forget about Mason but everything in her is calling her back to Dublin and to Mason. However, Mason has some darkness in him and he doesn’t know what to do or how to feel when Rachel returns to his life. This book is hot and spicy. It is clear their lust for each other is intense and their connection jumps off the pages. It might be a bit hard for some readers because Mason does continue to sleep around when Rachel is there but it’s worth it.

Mason will be a new book boyfriend for sure. You will love Mason & Rachel and this book is another amazing addition to this awesome series from Sienna Blake! This book will leave you swooning and looking for your own tatted up Irishman!! Happy Reading!

This book was an emotional rollercoaster. I was sad, angry and swooning.

I did struggle because I’m sensitive and I struggle with OW drama. H makes an agreement with h to basically get rid of all his hook ups the morning after. You’re telling me he brought 30 women in 30 days AND he said he still has feelings for her? After parading those women around? After SHE HEARS HIM HAVING SEX?

Our h went to get a marriage license to marry her fiancé when she finds out she is already married to a Irish tattoo artist. She flys to Ireland to meet him to get him to sign the divorce papers but instead she is makes a deal with him to stay with him for 30 days as his wife.

Tropes
- Forced Proximity
- Second Chance

Safety
- OW drama (H is a huge playboy)
- OM drama ( h has a fiancé )
- Past mentions of death of a loved one
- Cheating? Yes- some may count this as cheating

What a fantastic book from start to finish!
This book was so captivating, I struggled having to put it down. This book made me laugh, swoon, cry and had me reaching for a tall glass of ice water many, many times.

Rachel and Mason's chemistry shot off the pages throughout this whole book. And it wasn't just the scorching hot, rolling around in bed, up against a wall, kind of chemistry. Their personalities were so perfectly imperfect that you just knew they had to end up together. Their passion reached hights people dream of and some are lucky enough to have. They loved hard, and hated hard, but underneath it all, were just two lost souls who found their match.

This book flowed so smoothly going back and forth within their timelines. I've read others that were completely disjointed,  but this was smooth as butter. I found myself looking forward to the flashbacks to see the situations from each prospective. To see just how different they saw it all.

I fell hard for both Mason and Rachel. Both with such hard and sad pasts, having to persevere through so much. I just wanted to reach into the pages and give them both great big squishes and tell them it will all be ok. And the message being portrayed nearing the end of this book... " You have to forgive yourself." How many of us still have to learn to do that very thing. It's a part of growing up and getting older. We realize if we can't forgive ourselves,  how can we ever possibly forgive anyone else. We may say the words, but do we actually feel them?

I haven't said this about a book in a while, but if I could, I would give this one more than 5 ⭐️'s. This was a very well written book with such interesting characters and smooth transitions. This is definitely a must read! I can't wait to read where Rian's journey takes him. I am loving these Inked boys!!

I want to start of by say I can not get over the men that Sienna Blake writes! They are always drool worthy!

This is a fake marriage, lovers to enemies to lovers book, and it does like always have a HEA!

Dirty Ink is book two in the Dublin Ink series and it features Mason and Rachel, this can be read as a stand alone as all the book s feature a different couple, but I recommend reading the whole series to get to know more about all the characters.

Mason and Rachel met in Vegas years before the main plot of this book, and they fall madly in love. there is a lot of miscommunication and they both think the other ran out on them. There is also the little issue of them being married and neither of them remembering it.

Mason is back in Ireland running a tattoo business. Rachel is living in New York when she find out she is married to the man who broke her heart years ago. So she flies out to Ireland to get a divorce, what she gets instead is a deal. Stay married for 30 days and after the 30 days he will sign the papers.

I could go on and on about this book but seriously read it and book one because they are both amazing!

Rachel is surprised to find out that she's already married when applying for a marriage licence and Mason has spent the last 10 years with two rules in life, trying to keep the memories of their time together away.
But then Rachel appears in Mason's doorway with the news that she's been his wife the whole time.

What an emotional rollercoaster this story is!

Mason and Rachel have an instant connection and when they reunite its obvious that that hasn't faded over the years.

There is so much heat between these two that I thought my kindle was going to combust 🔥

At times I was screaming that I just wanted them to talk to each other, but they each had their own issues that they had to work through before things could really move forward.

I have to go back and read book 1 now, because Conor had me giggling so much and Rian...!? I can't wait to see what happens with him.

Hot and spicy tattooed men, what more you ask for?

I DNFd this at 57%. I gave it a shot. The MMC sleeps with a different woman every night. EVEN when the FMC comes back into his life. Due to certain circumstances she’s staying with him until he signs those papers. Yet he has her chasing off his conquests each morning after having her listen and see them in action at some points. Even though he “loves” her. The heck? And she puts up with it? Then ends up in a threesome with one of his conquests and him? What? No sorry I just couldn’t do this one.

A burly, bearded, tattooed Irishman is usually an easy win for me, but I DNF’d at 26%.

I tried with this one, but the two MCs in this story were so extremely unlikeable and I couldn’t see or understand this chemistry they were supposed to have.

Maybe if I’d stuck it out there may have been some redemption there, I want to hope so, but there was nothing in their story that compelled me to keep going.

To me this is a perfect example of a communication problem in a relationship. Half way through I was more frustrated with lack of development in characters and plot than anything.

This one is a no for me.

So him basically having a sex addiction and throwing one night stand after one night stand at her made her want him more?! Is she an emotional MASACHIST?!

It's just..... this is basically Gratuitous OW Drama: A Case Study.

Edit: Just finished. Yep. Out of around 400 pages, like 350 are just cheating.

This is a lies & cheating story. This is a DNF book, but I’m glutton for punishment.
Man meets girl. Man leaves abruptly. 10 years later, she’s moved on and now needs a divorce.
The girl finds out she’s married, gets on a plane, reunites with him in a bar; whilst another woman is hanging on him. Loudly announces they’re married.
Now usually what comes after is hilarity NOT CONTINUOUS CHEATING.
After this heartfelt announcement, idiot proposes she stays married for 30 days to run off his one night stand by RIGHTLY declaring her status as wife. Being the other half of this idiot sandwich, she agrees. Chapter after chapter after chapters of cheating.
Of course, she has feelings for him. Of course, she’s regretting her decision. Of course, she has a fiancé awaiting her return that her husband knows nothing about.
There’s more I can get into. But I’ll stop there.
Both have abandonment issues along with honesty. He reads a letter to learn to forgive, she goes to an audition to learn the same lesson. They run into each other at the airport, thus living happily ever after. THANK GOODNESS!!

Love is a funny thing...

It can happen in the blink of an eye. You can find it in the strangest places. In some cases, you may even be too blitzed to remember the details, but the love remains.

For Rachel and Mason, this is how it happened. Under the Vegas lights, they found a love that spans two continents. The only thing they remember is the feeling that someone and something is missing from their lives.

This is one steamy, gut wrenching hilarious read of essentially just "a twist of fate." What if things had played out different?. If fate could bring these two together in a moment, can it do it again?

This was my first read by Sienna Blake, but it's a guarantee it won't be the last. I was on the edge of my seat, wondering how these two could have been so close, then end up world's apart. Even though the writing style took me a bit to get used to, I won't be stopping at just one. These dirty boys have me hooked!

This is a seriously sexy book but be ready to be surprised at every turn as this book consistently defies expectations.
In fact, Rachel herself, the main female character, is surprised at the turn her story takes.
I kept expecting her to retaliate and explode, maybe give Mason a taste of his own ‘medicine’ but even when that did happen, the story did not follow the expected narrative.
I would have loved to have met Mason’s grandmother, and her letter to him absolutely broke my heart.
The journey of self-discovery both characters travel, the emotions and the unexpected turns in this story will captivate you from the very first page.
And be prepared for sizzling hot scenes as there is no shortage of those in this book.

I love Mason!!

Dirty Ink is book #2 in the Dublin Ink series.

Mason and his dirty mouth had me sweating!!! So freaking HOT!!!

When Rachel goes to apply for a marriage license, she finds out she is already married. After hearing this, she shows up at Mason's and the tension is INSTANT! Mason has spent the last 10 years following his 2 rules and not thinking about Rachel. But, with her right in front of him, he can't ignore their connection. These 2 have so much to work thru, but I think they are meant to be!!

I love this book so much! Mason is now forever on my book boyfriend list and i love Rachel. Their story is such an emotional, yet beautiful love story!!

Now, i can't wait for Rians story!

I loved reading dirty ink because it was full of angst, past and present, duel povs, lots of intensity, I had to use tissues a couple of times through the book but I’m an emotional reader, I laughed a lot and there were moments I really hated Mason (you’ll have to read it). Now to break it down - it’s an enemies to lovers, second chance/ slow burnish/ fake relationship/ close proximity but true undeniable love romance. I could not put it down not once and when I did I was so sad because I had to work. Sienna has made me remember why I have loved reading her books. The continuous push and pull and rollercoaster of how they got to the present had me stuck to my spot. I highly recommend this book and cannot wait to read more from this series.

First omg I loved this book!!

Dirty ink is book 2 in the Dublin ink series. It’s an Irish sexy dirty romance, and I can not get enough! Reading book one isn’t absolutely necessary BUT it does help understand things best in book two as far as characters go. There was so much drunken craziness in this book I couldn’t help but laugh and then cry when I finally found out why the ten years happened the way it did. The HEA was perfection and I’m so glad she got the crazy white feather dress!! If you like Irish hot tattoo drunken craziness then you are going to LOVE this book!! I can’t wait for book 3!!

This book was amazing! Mason and Rachel's story drew my attention in a matter of seconds! Their dynamic was intriguing and to see so much past between the two of them was enlightening and gave the story more "clarity" i guess would be the right word.

Mason is such a foul-mouthed, Whiskey drinking Irish.....I loved him! His tattoos, the accent (that I imagined), the dirty talk between him and Rachel....ugh! Amazing!

Rachel is a feisty, devious, and amazing woman! She knows when the game should be played and when she should let the game "win". Knowing how to play Mason while also understanding she can play him by not really playing him. PERFECT!

Love Rachel and Masons story. This is book two in the series but it can be read as a stand alone.
Rachel is about to get married to Tim when she goes to pick up her papers saying she’s eligible for marriage. Just to find out a night in her past she wed a sexy tattoo’ed Irish man.
Mason holds out for the day when the sexy American will walk into the shop he built in hopes she’d return. That day has finally arrived.
Once back together the sparks fly off the pages with a enemies to lovers and fake marriage troupe. Sienna did amazing.

When Mason and Rachel meet, they clash and come together intensely. Then the misunderstanding and heartbreak. Through the years they each struggle with the draw to each other. Mason has become the king of one night stands. Rachel has the 'ideal' boyfriend who really doesn't see her or have a connection with her. An empty existence for both. What happens when they meet again? This is your chance to find out. Our author takes us on an emotional and bumpy ride with these two. So worth the read.

This is book 2 in the Dublin Ink series and what a devilishly delicious ride!
Are second chances possible after a heartbreaking breakup?
That’s the million dollar question our hero and heroine Mason and Rachel are facing. These 2 characters are so flawed and so broken. Their past so painful. Yet their chemistry is undeniable and their connection undeniable.
Overcoming the par mustaches and moving forward was a an emotional and passionate story.
Hot, emotional and well paced, this was a compelling story of self discovery, acceptance and second chances.

Such a tumultuous love story! I loved the intensity of emotion and sexual chemistry between Mason and Rachel – and even though I don’t usually like storylines that flick between then and now, this one was really well written and the past events made the current happenings make sense.

Wow, this book was a wild ride, gritty and emotional.
Rachel is getting married to staid, dependable Tim but to her surprise, she finds out that she's already married to Mason. Mason and Rachel met years ago in Las Vegas, where she worked as a burlesque dancer. He is an Irish tattoo artist. They shared a few days of fiery, passionate love-at-first-sight kind of bliss and they must have gotten married while too wasted to remember. But when their relationship crashed and burned, they were both left feeling jilted and singed. Rachel goes looking for Mason to get a divorce but he's not willing to sign the papers right away and asks her to stay with him for 30 days. He says he needs her to scare his one-night-stands away in the morning but this crazy plan is just him trying to make Rachel jealous, hoping she'd stay. He has lived a rather promiscuous existence but Rachel is the only woman in his life who has a name; everyone else is just Miss Last Night. He's been pining for the one who got away for years. During the month they agreed to spend together they grow closer and revisit some old memories, but Rachel hasn't been able to be honest about Tim. Or honest to Tim, for that matter.

I liked the author's writing style, the emotional rollercoaster Mason and Rachel go through, the eventual way Tim reacted, and the surprise Mason got about the first wedding, and the wedding vows. These are scarred people who do some dysfunctional crap but in the end they learn that one of the hardest things in life is forgiving yourself. And finding your sparkle.

The reason Mason and Rachel initially broke up was revealed quite late in the book and it was a bit of a letdown...

Steam level: Explicit. Mild kink and third parties.
I am looking forward to finding about Rian's mystery girl.

I got a free copy of this book and this is a voluntary review.

DNF’d at 73%… but honestly? I was just skimming the pages from 50% or so onward. I wasn’t even invested enough to skip to the end and find out what happened.

I wasn’t a fan of the MMC sleeping with a new woman every night, rubbing the FMC’s face in it all day and night, and coercing her to interact with said women every time. This felt like it went on for the majority of the part I read. And she was supposed to be the love of his life?

So the story starts out with a (week-long?) whirlwind relationship in Vegas, where they were both head over heels for each other, they go their separate ways (I didn’t get to the end, but from what I gather, each thought the other walked away from it).

Long time passes, she’s engaged and finds out she’s been married to MMC this whole time. She goes to get divorce papers signed by him, he refuses to sign unless she lives with him for a month… and pretends to be his wife every morning by way of kicking out his previous nightly hookup in the morning. Oh, and he critiques each morning’s performance. This is his plan to get her, the love of his life, back… 🙄 by emotionally torturing her, and holding the divorce paperwork hostage. By the time I stopped really reading it, she had broken down into a sad little pile of regrets and uncertainty. Ugh.

Not sure how a relationship is supposed to be built on continually, and intentionally, breaking your partners trust, mentally and emotionally… and then rubbing their nose in it… repeatedly and enthusiastically.
