Super cute! Super clean! Super sweet!
Bea has had a crush on George since she was 7. Unfortunately George does not reciprocate her feelings. Or at least that's what she thought until he started dropping hints when they spent the day making deliveries together. Could he actually be half in love with her like she is with him? There's only one problem ~ Daphne has deemed them off limits to each other. She can't risk her friendship and date her best friends brother. Or can she?
I really loved everything about this friends to lovers story. Every character was likable and fun. George is totally book boyfriend material. He is like the sweetest southern gentleman ever! Those cookies at the end, gah, adorable!! And now I'm craving a blueberry muffin too.
I'll definitely be on the lookout for more books from Kristen, especially when I need a quick, wholesome read that'll be sure to make me smile.

Review: This was such a cute and adorable story! I read it very quickly and can I just say that the descriptions of the pastries were making me hungry! I was in desperate need for a blueberry muffin after reading this story! Bea was a very nice and considerate main character. Bea felt it wasn’t right to date her best friends brother! Which I know I would have felt the same way! But it all worked out in the end! Pick this up if your looking for a short but cute romance!
Thank you so much to booksirens for giving me the opportunity to read this book!
This is my first experience with this author. She has written a sweet, quick read about a long-awaited romance.
Bea is a baker who has crushed on her best friend's brother since she was seven years old. George was always out or reach. Now, that they are adults, there seem to be sparks that neither has noticed before. When they are tasked with all the deliveries from the bakery on Valentine's Day, are those sparks something they can ignore? Will Bea's best friend understand that love trumps all?
I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.

Oooh, a sweet quick read! Crushing on your best friend’s brother even years after growing up made for some awkward/humorous moments. Bea and George connect, but dance around the obvious attraction. It really made me smile the way the details came together in the end!

This is such a sweet book (pun intended). Celia talks George into being her fill-in delivery guy on Valentine's Day, and Bea, her baker, will help him with the deliveries. He's Bea's forever crush, but he's off limits because his sister is her best friend. A low drama story line with a misunderstanding, this is my first read from the author. I'll look for her books again. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Bea has loved her best friend’s brother since she was seven, but can’t see a future with him as she won’t choose between him and her best friend.
This story is filled with emotions and deep love, both romantic love and love between friends and family. The storyline keeps a good pace and the deliveries of cookies makes a good frame with side characters as well as developements between the main characters.

Bea Mine was a sweet and steamy older brother/best friend romance by K.A. Gandy. On the biggest holiday for the Sweet Nothings Bakery, Bea is once again alone. She has been in love with George, her best friend's older brother for years but he has never seen her in that way. Or so she thinks. When they end up spending VDay, secrets are revealed but can George convince her to give them a chance and risk her friendship with his sister, her best friend? Looking forward to Daphne's story!
Well written, short, sweet romance. I did think the author did a really good job developing the characters. It was a feel good read and I look forward to the next one when I believe we will get Daphne's story. I was fortunate enough to receive a copy and am happy to leave a review.

Review: This story is just so sweetttttt. Love that the relationship between Bea and George. There are so many cute and sweet scenes that I can’t spoil much. And I feel that her boss Celia is indirectly her fairygodmother. Her best friend also can see that the both of them have feelings for each other. I love the delivery scenes too because it makes me smile because the people have their smile on their faces receiving gifts on Valentine’s day. Such a cute and sweet romance.
P.S. It really makes me want to eat blueberry muffins hahaha… and I would want the sugar cookies . (read then you will find out why.)
Can’t wait to read her 2nd book of the Sweet Nothings Bake Shop. It will be Bea’s best friend Daphne’s story. You can purchase Kristen Dixon’s books from Amazon or Kobo.
I enjoyed this sweet little romance! The characters were fun, and the romance was delightful.
Bea has been in love with George since she was a kid (literally, she was 7. ) As her best friend, Daphne's older brother, he is off limits to her if she wants to keep her friendship but, oh, does her heart complain. She dates but every man comes up short when compared to George. How can she get him out of her heart when he shows up at the bakery every day for a blueberry muffin snack? When her boss hires him as a driver for the Valentine's Day deliveries, AND volunteers Bea to help him, she's sunk. But wait, could that be a special twinkle of interest she sees in George's eyes?
George Anderson has known Bea nearly forever - as his sister's best friend. The more time he spends with her, the more sparks he begins to feel. Can he convince her to give him a chance?
Bea's mental gymnastics are hilarious, but her heart is as committed to her best friend as it is to taking a chance with George. Can she take the chance that she won't lose her friend by also letting George into her heart?
Readers who enjoy sweet romance with lots of sparks should pick up Bea Mine. It can be read in a few short hours, so is a perfect afternoon getaway.

This book was pure fluff. It was very cute and sweet. It didn’t have much depth or character development, but it was moderately entertaining. I liked Bea. She was a relatable character, and her escapades in the bakery were enjoyable to see. George was also a likable character with his patience and thoughtful behavior.
Their relationship was slow to develop, and the number of years they took to admit their feelings for one another was truly astounding. They had decent chemistry though and their interactions were adorable and quirky. I wish the book had been a bit longer and included more chapters with them as a couple.
Overall, this was a quick romance with plenty of sweetness and heart. I recommend it to those looking for a pretty basic but cute short story that’ll put a smile on your face.
*I received an ARC of this novella. This is my complete and honest review.*
Bea Mine was a cute read. Most of us can relate to a childhood crush. Bea's quirkiness added to her likability. There was one part where I literally laughed out loud. Miscommunication with Bea's best friend Daphne, solidified Bea's belief about George and it was heartwarming to witness Bea discover George's true feelings. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. If you like small town romance and have an affinity for baked goods, I recommend Bea Mine.
