Although this book was not very entertaining, it helped me learn some of the techniques of lifting and exercising and how to properly do it while staying safe. This book would also be good for someone to read if they are wanting to get into lifting or exercising. If you do not know what lifts and exercises to do or how to do them, this would be a great book to read.

* Very general, the book has not focused on anything. It's partly strength training and another part basic bodybuilding exercises.
* Information in this book is very brief and sometimes incorrect/inaccurate.
* It does not provide enough information to do squat and deadlift exercises safely.

Great Reference for Resistance Training

The linked videos alone are worth the cost of this book. I highly recommend it for anyone serious about proper technique!

Read for school. A good guide for new exercise science majors- goes into the prime movers and breaks down the exercises really well. Wish it had more exercises in it but it's a great start.

Good, comprehensive list of standard exercises used in exercise programming. A useful general resource to have on hand in a reference library, but will help with the CSCS or NSCA-CPT tests, as it goes into detail about common (and some not so common) errors and their corrections.
