Entrepreneurial nineteen year old Isabelle has a secret or two -- ever since her risqué photos started rolling in the dough, she dropped out of college. Please don't tell my dad!
When her dad's smoking hot best friend, Rust, needs a dogsitter, Isabelle jumps at the opportunity. She's fantasized about the tall, dreamy hockey player for as long as she can remember -- and the salt-and-pepper fox is finally looking at her the way she's always like he can't wait to get his hands all over her.
Sure, if she did anything with the muscular athlete, it'd break her dad's heart and destroy his friendship ... but who said Dad has to know?
"Keep an eye on her, will ya?"
Legendary defenseman Rust Walker can't say no when his best friend asks him to keep an eye on his college daughter.
Only problem is, the pro athlete couldn't take his eyes off Isabelle if he tried. The shy, quiet kid is all grown up now -- and Isabelle has blossomed into a stunner with curves so tight, any man would be tempted. Even her dad's best friend.
But you don't play twenty years in this league without forging an iron discipline. The little flirt can test him with naughty selfies all she wants -- Rust would never stab a lifelong bud in the back.
So why can't he stop texting Isabelle all his sinful fantasies?

Rust is a 90,000 word OMYW age gap hockey romance. This standalone novel is the second book in the Vegas Sin series. No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA always guaranteed!
That was a lot of fun. I loved Rust right away, but it took me a little longer to warm up to Izzy. She has some bratty moments that rubbed me the wrong way, but overall, she has a mature and level head on her shoulders. I think the two of them made for a really good balance to one another. At least, when they weren’t accidentally triggering each other’s emotional baggage. There’s lot of family drama and plenty of angst driving the story, so my reality-television-loving heart was in its glory. I’m really loving these characters and I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us next. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

Isabella has just turned nineteen in fact she is celebrating with her boyfriend and instead of celebrating they end up breaking up. That’s how she ends up at the Vegas Sin hockey match sitting next to her childhood crush and her dads best friend Rust. There is chemistry from the word go and she can’t help but respond to him, so when her dad suggests that Rust hire her as his dog sitter for when he is away at games, and soon the attraction to each other is becoming too hard to ignore. Isabella has secrets though and she’s not sure how Rust will react, especially to the risqué photos she sells on her OnlyFans site and learning that she had dropped out of college. Is Rust willing to risk his friendship with her dad and give in to what they are feeling?
Rust has lost his enthusiasm for the game that he has loved forever, but the coach benches him he ends up sitting next to a beautiful girl and he is shamelessly flirting with her when his best friend arrives.he is shocked beyond belief when he realises that this is Isabella the little girl he hasn’t seen since she was a child. And she’s definitely grown up and he can’t deny that the chemistry between them is off the charts. He was determined to push her away but instead ends up employing her to dog sit for him when he’s at away games. But when she sends him a picture that leaves him speechless he’s not sure if he can keep her at arms length or keep her under him. Will he be able to fight the attraction that grows hourly between them, will he give in to the temptation of her and how will his best friend Johnny react if he does take what had always been his?
This is the first book I have read by June Winters and am very much looking forward to binging her books in the very near future.these characters are well written and the story will hook you in by the first paragraph. Recommended 4.5* read.
This is an older man, younger woman story with the added complication of the woman being his best friend’s daughter. Rust Walker knew Isabelle when she was a kid. She had a crush on him for some time, but when he gets benched by the coach, he ends up watching the game with Isabelle and Johnny, her dad. He is amazed at the beautiful young woman Isabelle has become.
But then her dad asked him to watch her, and that can only lead to trouble. When will her dad find out she quit college? Will he find out about the naughty photos? And will he find out that Rust and Isabelle are an “item” now?
Well, it doesn’t take long to ruin a good story for me. The scene where Rust decides to spank Isabelle, not lightly but so hard that she got sick to her stomach, was a huge dead-stop turn-off for me. I positively do not like so-called discipline, punishment, or irrational spanking themes. They are completely inappropriate as relates to adults. They have absolutely nothing to do with a love story. For me at least this kind of behavior adds absolutely no value to the plot, turns my stomach, and ruins what might have been a good story. I would appreciate authors who include this brutality to warn the reader. You trigger everything else, including cliffhangers and cheating, but why are acts of cruelty ignored?
Rust is a pro hockey player who is being benched and has to watch his team play from the VIP section with his best friend and his daughter. Isabelle has dropped out of college without telling her parents and makes great money posing and posting risque photos of herself. Isabelle shows up to the Vegas Sin hockey game after breaking up with her boyfriend at her birthday dinner. Rust and Isabelle are attracted to each other and flirt with each other until Isabelle's father shows up. Rust feels guilty for flirting with his best friend's daughter. When Isabelle's father suggests Rust hire Isabelle as a dog sitter for when he is out of town. Can Isabelle and Rust fight their attraction to each other? Will Isabelle and Rust give into their attraction and chemistry? Can Rust turn his hockey game around? How will Isabelle's father react when he learns of her relationship with Rust? Can Isabelle and Rust find their happily ever after? Rust has drama, personal conflict, chemistry, secrets, and a happily ever after. I love June Winters and would definitely recommend reading Rust and the other book in the Vegas Sin series.

June Winters brings us a spicy, well-written, daddy's best friend story with an age gap. How can you get better than that? The characters were well thought out and multidimensional, and the dialogue flowed with the story. Rust is a veteran hockey player in his late 30s, and he seems to have lost his spark and zest for playing. Isabelle is the 19-year-old daughter of Rust's best friend from childhood, and despite that, Rust is attracted to her and to him. The story follows their attraction and following relationship as they manage the temptation, rights, and wrongs, and Rust was fighting his moral compass. One of the most significant parts of Isabelle's story is her OnlyFans account and how that affects her relationships. I appreciated how the author wove that into her story.
Overall, this story has many well-written, steamy spice scenes. It's an easy read, but the characters are lovable, and you want to see them succeed. There is a plot line to the story that is linear, easy to follow, and so very entertaining! I recommend it!.

Rust is Isabelle's dad's best friend. Rust plays professional hockey. Isabelle's birthday isn't going as she planned, and she ends up meeting her father at the hockey game after breaking with her boyfriend. However, she runs into Rust first and he has no clue who she is. Once he realizes he tries to push away the thoughts she brought to his mind before. Isabelle has always had feelings for Rust but never expected him to think of her as anything but his friend's daughter. He offers her a job watching his dog while he goes to an away game, and she accepts. One picture sent to Rust after she has had some drinks and things change between them. Its not long before things are heating up between them. Can they be together? What will her parents say?
This is a great story that will hook you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. This is a book any book lover would enjoy.

A steamy addition to the series! Holy hotness this is a definite must read for fans of sports genre with the added steam of an age gap made for an delicious romance read. Rust hasn’t been doing good in his field so his coach says and as a result he finds himself benched, but things look up when he see this stunning girl. Too bad she’s the daughter of his best friend and she’s all grown up. But what he doesn’t know is that she has always had a crush on him and what happens next is a steamy romance read with enough drama and loads of heat level that will leave you wanting more. I love the HEA and how the characters relationship evolved to so much more.
If you like sports and age gap romances you'll enjoy this story. Throw in the fact that Rust is Isabelle's dad's best friend and things get more interesting. He's a long standing hockey player who gets benched and ends up watching the game with Isabelle and her Dad. He can't get over how attractive she has become and knows she's off limits but he's smitten. What happens when her dad asked him to watch her? What happens when her dad finds out that she has dropped out of school? What happens with the risque photos? This is the second book in the Vegas Sin series but is read as a standalone. This is a good book and one that you will enjoy. It does move a little slow at times. I read this book as a free arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
—>>> Review Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars - I enjoyed Rust’s openmindedness with regards to Isabelle’s online site as well as the support he gave to her. But then again, he has never experienced the role of being her father. The undeniable attraction between them steams up the pages as well as the multitude of secrets both harbor, which present many challenges when their relationship develops. While Isabelle is clear on what she wants, she still plays the good daughter to her father, his expectations creating the kind of conflicts which can only be solved with truths being told. This was a good sports/age-gap romance!
This is an age gap romance…she’s his best friends daughter. While Isabelle has had a crush on Rust for years, he’s just seeing her for the first time as a woman.
There is the usual must hide their relationship from her father thing. When he finds out of course the big over reaction.
Isabelle is very mature in some areas such as in her Fans Only Page and in others her age does show.
Rust had lost his drive and passion and nothing like a young hot thing to get you back into your groove.
They both had secrets that they had to work through to get to their HEA.

OMG!!!! How wrong was it for Rust to fall for Isabelle his best friend's daughter? He tried so hard to push her away but she knew what she wanted and wasn't giving up on it. And when they finally got together there was no turning back. But with so many secrets you just knew things would never be right until everything was out in the clear. But as everything goes wrong he eventually figures out he can't live without her or his baby that was a surprise. They finally get their happily ever after once he decided to fight for them.

This is book two in the author’s hockey story with age gap twist. Rust is thirty seven and concerned about his hockey career. He is just going through the motions. By accident he runs into his BFF’s daughter Isabelle and she has grown up beautifully. It’s funny because Rust doesn’t recognize Isabelle at all until she says his name. There is an immediate attraction for both Isabelle and Rust. Their first reaction is to deny it but that is not really working. Then Isabelle’s dad asks Rust to hire her to watch his pet dog. This dog has a big personality. Read On!
This is a first for me from this author and I love a sports romance. I liked Rust and Isabelle and thought they were great together. The story was good but it got a little bogged down with all the back and forth between them and Rust getting over the age difference. I really didn't like Isabelle's father and thought he was a jerk all the way through. I really liked how the OnlyFans website was used and how responsible Isabelle was with her content. Great ending.

This story was so much more than a sports romance. Isabelle and Rust are wonderful characters with real depth and complicated baggage, making their age-gap forbidden romance so much more realistic and emotional. I was truly invested in their happiness and emotionally involved in their ups and downs. This series has so many great characters, I’m looking forward to more from the Vegas Sin.
While I enjoyed Rust and Isabelle’s story, I feel that it would have worked better as a shorter book. The chemistry between them was fantastic, but the on and off nature of their relationship, combined with Isabelle’s not very likeable father, became a little tiresome. The author did however create some very beautiful moments, and a lovely HEA.

Awww, I really enjoyed this one. It seemed a bit different to other June Winters books, a little more angst I think, and longer, which was good. Rust and Isabelle are kind of a perfect match, even though they seem so wrong for each other. Izzy’s dad is the villain for me in this book (clueless 🤦🏻♀️!). Rust doesn’t fare much better either but does redeem himself. Great book.
The author has given us a wonderful older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Rust and Isabelle and does not let go. The story keeps us turning the pages with denial of feelings, steam, heartbreak and secrets.

LOVE!! The characters and story life are fabulous!! When you are a teenager young adult at the age of nineteen, and you have been around a sexy Hockey player all your life, since he is your dad's best friend. You see him in a different light and wants to make me his.

I really enjoyed this story from start to finish. I love stories about hockey players and I loved that this one was written in the first person point of view which is a deal breaker for me. A wonderful story, I really recommend.

OKAY. This was a BIG age gap for me...but I was here for it. I loved the incorporation of sexting, out of touch concepts because of the age gap, and the scenes were just HOT. I was not expecting the surprise...so that threw me a little off guard, as well as how it's handled through the book. Overall-this one really broke my reading slump and I loved it!
June Winters has provided us with endearing characters that will keep your attention from start to finish making this a quick, fun read and a great addition to the series.
