A story with a lot of potential plagued by plot holes. Once again, I wish this story was longer, it has an excellent introduction and interesting companions, but everything is forgotten with the barely existent plot.
While the Loki and Hela plot was interesting it became completely useless and felt out of place, honestly, I was disappointed when Neil didn't turn out to be Loki at the end.
The companions' storylines are resolved in one chapter, and in the most boring way possible. Their backstories reflected how empty the MC of this book was (not useless at least).
I love Norse mythology... And I was excited for a new setting for one of the TP books... But it just all fell flat. The side characters weren't interesting to me, the world building was clunky, and the story was barely there and had no real point. Probably my least favorite TP book so far.
