Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs (Light Novel) Vol. 7
THE END IS NIGH (AGAIN)
Leon thinks he's finally made a breakthrough in his relationship with Noelle, even if Marie's still accusing him of being a total incompetent. But all Leon's resolve may come to naught in the face of the platoon of problems rocketing toward him. He'll have to contend with everything from deteriorating parent-child relationships to a grudge-based coup d'etat to a full-blown AI uprising before he earns a happy ending for Noelle--and maybe even himself.

I think if this was the first book in the series, I would be rating this four stars instead of three. But after 7 books, this just feels formulaic. There's been very little character growth, and the plot is almost always resolved in the same way: by the protagonist and his sidekick knowing or intuiting more about what was actually going on than it seemed at first.

Where's MY harem, god dammit? Shawn and Peter from Goodreads don't count.

repetitive, and there's tons of characters now. Kind of hard to get who is who after a year break from the series. It's been only a few days but I can't even remember what the plot was really about, so there's that as well. What bothers me more is that the author does not seem capable to write dramatic / emotional scenes. They get so ridiculous that it's almost comical and all suspension is lost.
3* but more like 2.5.

Good conclusion to this arc.
Plenty of humor and action. I was hooked and couldn't put down the book. I can't wait for the next one.

The first light novel to start the year. One of my guilty pleasures.
Half of my reading list comprise of fantasy, Sci fi or light novels. Lol.

This arc ended about as good as it could have. I am glad to leave the republic finally.

Interesting teist
I find it interesting that the ones who reincarnated into the Otome game only know the plot but not the full story. It makes them realize nothing is what it seems.

Had great pacing and very enjoyable from beginning to end.
