The story involves Addy Blake, twenty years old, and her next-door neighbor, Tanner Kavanagh, thirty-eight, and a cop. When Addy once again becomes forgetful and must rush to an event, she is caught speeding through a school zone. Officer Kavanagh is going to write her a ticket, but she begs him not to and agrees to accept punishment from him. Who knew that a spanking was exactly what this girl needed?

Addy was raised by a single mother, never knowing her father. While Virginia provided for Addy, there wasn’t enough structure or consequences for her misbehavior. Once she is disciplined with an OTK spanking by Officer Kavanagh, it is the beginning of a May-December relationship. Addy calls him Daddy—and it is something that Tanner must think about. If there was ever a girl who needs structure, discipline, and love, it is Addy.

“It’s up to you to make sure I have no regrets.”

I liked the characters, and I think that Tanner made the perfect daddy dom for her. She needed someone who didn’t yell but expected her to do what is right and accept discipline when she needed correcting. The story has plenty of scenarios and interactions between Tanner and Addy, both in big and little mindsets. The discipline is always fair and never over the top. The sexual relationship between them is completely consensual. Tanner actually helps Addy become a more responsible adult, helps her with her dreams, and supports her as she is aiming to achieve them.

Addy grew up in a single mom family. Their next door neighbor was police officer Tanner Kavanagh. Addy had a big crush on Mr. Kavanagh and growing up she compared every man she met to him. No one measured up. No she is all grown up and was going to college. She is home on break when her mom pressures her into promising to go to a baby shower. However she has totally forgotten about it when her mom calls and asks her where she is. Addy rushes to get dressed and buy a present. As she is rushing to the party, she ends up getting stopped by a police officer because she was speeding. Office Kavanagh told her she was speeding in a school zone. Addy is horrified by the thought she could have hurt a child but she really doesn't want a ticket. She doesn't want to disappoint her mother even more. Officer Kavanagh tells her she has to be punished to make sure she doesn't make the same mistake again. He gives her a choice between a ticket and a spanking. Addy agrees to him giving her a spanking. His commanding tones have her quivering. Addy is starting to feel like she needs a Daddy in her life to help her get her life under control.

Many a spanking romance book has started off with the heroine being stopped by a cop for speeding, with a relationship ensuing. In this story Addy already knows the cop, it’s her next door neighbor Tanner. She had had a crush on him growing up, but that was in the past. Now she’s a grown young woman dealing with many issues with respect to both her mother and herself. She has grown up age wise but not maturity wise. She needs lots of help and Tanner just might be the one to provide it. The problem Tanner has, is exactly how to help her. Does he try to help her as a “father” that she never had or as a “daddy” that she seems to need equally as much. How they progress thru this conundrum is the focal point of the book. Her living next door to him, with her mother, is just another problem to navigate. Lots of sweet support, tender care, as well as disciplinary scenarios and some pretty hot sex. The story has an HEA but doesn’t necessarily bring a conclusion to their story, so perhaps there is a sequel to come. 4 Stars

Addy is home for break when her mom asks her to go to a baby shower with her. She is running later after getting a gift and ends up pulled over by a cop. Not just any cop but Officer Kavanagh her neighbor that she's had a crush on since forever. He tells her where she was speeding, and she gets upset and then he gives her two choices a ticket or a spanking. Will she finally act on her crush?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book any book lover would enjoy.

This is a sweat, older man, younger woman romance. Addy is a hot mess. She's childish, spoilt, and a disaster for her mother. Tanner is her neighbor and a policeman. She gets pulled over by her neighbor in his police car and instead of a ticket he takes her to the police station and gives her a spanking. Loved the storyline and Addy was so cute and unsure. Tanner knows that Addy is a little and they have the most incredible dynamics as Daddy/Little along with the steam. Enjoyed this story.

Daddy does know best! A sweet, steamy DDlg romance. The DDlg is not super intense/immersed as some can be, so it's an easy, light read.

I appreciated seeing Tanner's POV - that being a Daddy is really hard work!

I liked seeing Addy's inner turmoil and little side grow into more security and confidence under Tanner's firm guidance.

I would recommend if you enjoy DDlg romance.

I Liked reading about Addy and Tanner. Addy definitely needed a guiding hand and the way this starts was interesting. I liked the chemistry between them and the dynamic that he became her daddy. There were times Addy didn't make me think of a Little but rather was immature, but I really liked her growing under Tanner's hand.

There's a lot to love about this book. A simple story, a man in uniform, a clumsy but an adorable heroine, with a sense of humor and light BDSM feeling. Intriguing events from the beginning till the end. All in all, recommended!.

Addy is back home. She has always had a crush on her older neighbor, Tanner. Now that she is grown up she is back in town and speeding. He pulls her over and offers her a choice, a ticket or spanking. She picks the spanking. I absolutely loved these two together, they are perfect together.
