Out of the four stories in this short stories collection, three of them read like fanfic and the only story which is somewhat interesting addresses the abuse and mistreats suffered by the Koreans in the hand of the Japanese during WWII. Good job, Mr. Shimada for facing the historical truth and informing your readers about it.

岛田庄司这次深情刨析的世间百态对于大多数读者来说并不成功，光看评分就可以得知这本书差不多算是岛田笔下评价极差的了，首篇几乎可以说是没有什么特色，可有可无的短篇。第二篇谢菲尔德可能就已经让想读推理作品的读者看的昏昏欲睡了。个人认为第三篇悲愿花算是最为成功的。最后收尾喀什中规中矩。岛田的知识储备量显然很大，但是读者想要的是推理小说，而不是挂着御手洗洁招牌的哲思奇幻游记。
p.s.前期耀眼的岛田庄司已然不存在，后期的作品显然照着前期差太多了。

311地震告慰之作，反人造灾难与歧视。只喜欢第一篇，御手洗只是讲故事没怎么表达自己的意见。而且以讲的故事为主应该是算不上粉丝向的，适合岛田思想迷。
