Viper Security: Complete 5-Book Series

Rate this book
The COMPLETE 5-part series containing over 250,000 words. No cliffhangers. A romantic suspense series with happy ever afters.

PART Luca

Luca Segreto doesn’t really like kids, and has never seen himself as the settling-down kind. He likes his life just the way it is, with no encumbrances, no problems. In fact, he’s hoping he’ll be able to wrangle a new assignment at Viper Security when the owner, Bruce “Viper” Vaughn, starts a new international team that will work with the uber-rich and the beautifully exotic. But that was before he was blindsided by Hadley Foster, a woman he met briefly seven months ago.

PART Remi

Remi Cox finds herself caught between her commitment to her job as a security operative for Viper Security and the man she loves. Her boyfriend is a lawyer with certain expectations of his girlfriend. When Remi shows up at an important work event with a black eye, Daniel reaches his limit. It’s over. He won’t allow her to ruin his reputation and his career. But when Remi is kidnapped, Daniel is the key to her freedom. Will he choose her over his career? Or will his desire to stay on the straight path put her life in danger?

PART Wells

Wells Smith was a cop before he went to work for Viper Security. In his heart he would always be a cop, but when his mother became ill, he took the more flexible job with Viper to care for her. But to do that, he had to leave a couple of cases unfinished. It bothered him to do that, to leave a victim struggling to find justice in a department that was overwhelmed with the violence that took place daily on the streets. One case particularly haunted him, the face of the victim a memory he couldn’t shake. So, when he meets her again, and learns her case is still unsolved, he has to get involved. What choice does he have?

PART Simon

Simon is a playboy who likes to play the field. Any and every beautiful girl who crosses his path is fair play. So, it’s with an understandable level of shock that his friends discover Simon is a married man. Simon’s wife, Jonah, shows up one morning out of the blue, looking for his help in a mess that she’s not completely honest about. It’s no surprise to Simon, however, who has come to expect this wild and unpredictable behavior from his beautiful wife. She was, after all, the one who left him after only a week of wedded bliss to chase after another guy a couple of thousand miles away.

PART Jackson

Jackson Mannes’s wife disappeared a decade ago, leaving him with a two-year-old daughter he barely knew. For years, he searched for his wife, hoping she was still alive, but afraid the truth was something a little darker. He got on with his life, struggling as a single father, but getting through with the help of his wife’s best friend, Ryan Scott. Ryan becomes a second mom to his child, and takes control of his life, working side by side with him at Viper Security as his personal assistant. There is no way he could have survived all these years without her, so it seems like a natural next step when their relationship becomes romantic.

Book 4 was upsetting

I enjoy Camilla Blake’s security romances. By the time I finished Book 3 the characters were like old friends. Book 4, Simon, was totally different. The storyline took three decorated military veterans and turned them into criminals. It was so upsetting that I skipped large portions of the chapters to get past the criminal behavior of characters that I had previously enjoyed. I wish I had skipped that book.

Five Team Members

Five overlapping stories about the members of Jackson Mannes's security team...their individual paths to finding love and family in the dangerous world of close protection. The main characters are very likeable and the storylines offer tantalizing looks into the world of elite bodyguards. A very enjoyable read.

fell flat in the end.

The stories are great, until you get to the end and suddenly it’s over with no further explanation. This really killed wanting to finish out the set. It was action, then bam here’s who did it. Great lead up but a rushed conclusion that just fell flat.

Viper overview

This was my first time reading books from this author, the writing style was different. I was disappointed by the conclusions and not a end to the storyline.

Viper Security

Great stories, always great in a boxset if it’s a series. These 5 stories were so intriguing that it was hard to put down.
