As a werewolf, a witch, and soon-to-be mate to her alpha, Torrin’s life is complicated. A spontaneous road trip with girlfriends throws her headfirst into danger when mysterious creatures capture the leaders of the Dublin, Ohio supernatural Others community; the werewolf pack, the witch coven, and the vampire clan.
When Torrin and her friends are trapped in the city, she must find a way to unite the groups of Others or they will all end up at the mercy of their captors – and their captors have none.
Bondweaver is part of the Torrin Pedersen Chronicles, an urban fantasy trilogy with romantic elements. Each book ends in a HFN (Happy-For-Now) or an HEA and can be read alone -- although it’s really better together.
The heroine is strong and smart. She learns a little bit more about being vulnerable to her mate and relying on her friends and allies. It’s another fun adventure but once again, the villains are doing mind control. There’s no overarching plot except for the relationship and the heroine learning her new skills.
We get to see the wedding for the two main characters at the end and there are a few intimate scenes that fade to black.
I had an absolutely great time reading this series but would love if the author did a better job at tying the plot together. There’s definitely some missing pieces and some unexplained/unexplored bits. Like her family isn’t really mentioned except for a few times and then at the end, where it seems like she has a great relationship with them.
There are also some editing issues, including a repeating chapter.
Very enjoyable read and I’d love to see this author’s work as she grows and develops.
I like the surprising aspects of this series. It gave us different angles and outcomes that I haven’t seen in other shifter romances which kept me reading.
I think sometimes the plot can sometimes take too long to develop and then hurry at the conclusion but I also understand that the plots take some time to develop and it’s hard to make that transition.
Overall I liked the entire series and look forward to reading more about some of the other characters.
This is an excellent ending to the trilogy. I so enjoyed Torrina nd Mark's story. I cannot wait to read th next book. Dee is a hoot. I can only imagine the way she will fall for hermate
