The Firestarters move across America, a trail of bodies and burning towns in their wake.
The infernos erase the evidence. No witness is left alive. Except one. A traumatised child, who never speaks. Meanwhile, Tom Lewis has found a new home. The quiet man finally at peace in a quiet town. There’s no call for his violent alter-ego in Pike Point, North Carolina. Until the Firestarters choose the wrong target, and Jimmy Blue is let loose.
From Ian W. Sainsbury, a compelling story of vengeance.
Ian W Sainsbury is a musician, composer, writer, comedian and puppet wrangler (yes, that's a real job). Obviously, he doesn't know what to do when he grows up and - now that he's in his forties - he's resigned to the fact that he probably never will.
His first novel was published in 2016.

Superb book with lots of plot twists, fantastically well written
I've really enjoyed this series of books, to such an extent that I don't want them to end! I've been finishing off the books at the rate of one per day, about three or four times my usual reading rate, since the books just drag me in and I need to know what happens next.
It amazes me how he can come up with so many different stories, all revolving around the central character, but each story different (and satisfying) in its own way.
Jimmy Blue returns….. You need to read this series from book 1 and it will make sense ….. although as a one off is a very good read. The only problem with this series is once you start a book you can’t stop reading…… I’m not doing a review as that will spoil your enjoyment…… just read it !!!
IAN ….. do keep writing about Jimmy we need lots more…… please !!
Ian found a way to make the Jimmie Blue series fresh. Very entertaining. I admit that I only started the book out of respect for his past works. I was afraid Desolation Station would simply rehash prior Jimmie Blue storylines. But once again Ian Sainsbury was up to the task of keeping us entertained with fresh takes on a basic theme.
I have read the whole series, to sum it up in one word, excellent. From the first sentence in each book I was hooked. It's taken me 3 days to read this last novel. Jimmy Blue is one fighting machine who works alone. Tom you can't help but want to keep safe. I would highly recommend all 4 books, I can't wait for the next one!
Really enjoyed this Jimmy Blue novel, I haven't read any since the first couple and totally forgot what a good read these are, to be honest I've read quite a lot Ian Sainsburys work an I don't think I've ever been let down, a good read and well recommended.
Unlike the previous books in this series, I could see where this one was headed. That did not lessen my enjoyment of the story. I love this author's ability to make you feel like it's real, even though the events are not realistic. I've officially hit the point where I will miss the characters when the series ends.
Once again, we follow Tom and Blue as they work to bring justice for a good friend who was killed by the bad guys. Plenty of suspense and action. I love these characters.
Another cracking tale of tom/Jimmy blue. I liked the development of Tom getting stronger, and I liked the story of The author running throughout. Hope there's a lot more to come.
This is my second favourite Jimmy Blue story so far, after the first book. Jimmy is more human in this story and Tom is stronger. All the usual action you'd expect from this series and a lot of heart. A hugely enjoyable read.
This book brings to light what has been known for years; individuals with multiple personalities. You have one that is extremely easy, lovable and harmless, yet on the other side, hard, scary and very dangerous! Yes, I'm glued to this series. Keep them coming.
What an incredible story. Far fetched of course, well, hopefully, but brilliantly executed (no pun intended) with some comedic moments worthy of Robin Williams and some fantastic writing. I have a new favourite author. Thanks, Ian.
