Wow this is a must read. 10 out of 10 go get it. I was thrilled for another addition to this series and definitely not disappointed only now because it's over.
This is a very well-written story with two strong main characters. Readers can sense that Nüwa’s deranged kidnapper will undoubtedly make an appearance before the book ends. Murphy skillfully builds the tension without ignoring the romance. At no point does the author add angst to bolster her word count. However, she does allow her readers to feel the emotions of the two characters at every step of the way.
The intimate scenes throughout the book are emotional and erotic. The scenes do not become salacious.
The ending is succinct and makes it clear the characters are making a life together
This book has everything – two well-developed main characters, erotica, tension, romance, a mother to hate, and a happy ending. On top of that, it is so very well written, and readers will undoubtedly be unable to put the book down for very long. This book was one of the best written books of 2022.
I’ve enjoyed this whole series and this book especially. The journey that the main characters take is amazing. I don’t want to give away the end so I’m going to say that I highly recommend the story and that you won’t be disappointed.
Very well written, but you'd expect that from Brenda Murphy. Both MC's were interesting. The sex/love scenes were very well done. I could have done without the warning in the blurb that the stalker would appear again. So when he did, it was sort of a 'Oh, OK' moment.
i don’t really know what to think of this book. the beginning was okay it was a bit difficult to work out where the plot was going and then at about 30% through it just became the two MCs exploring kink and then the last 15% was plot again so it was pretty meh overall
