Eraced: Uncovering the Lies of Critical Race Theory and Abortion

Rate this book
John K. Amanchukwu Sr. is a rising voice exposing the racist ideologies of abortion and critical race theory. In Eraced , he exposes the evil plot of the liberals to destroy the Black community and divide the church, and provides sound biblical truth to help Christians understand these complex issues.

Tucked in the Old Testament book of Isaiah is a warning meant for ancient Judah, but it might as well have been written for twenty-first century “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20).

Abortion and critical race theory are twin evils born of the same diabolical racism. And yet, there are many in the church who want to call them good, even as America begins to unravel under their influence.

In Eraced , John Amanchukwu Sr. dispels the myths surrounding abortion and critical race theory, and uncovers the Left's sinister plot to destroy the Black community and divide the church.

Along the way, he brings to light important gospel truths to help all believers learn to think biblically about some of the most important and explosive issues of our day.

One powerful message and full of strong points with respect to CRT, BLM and many other groups or movements to push for such divisions between the black and white communities! The maintenance of such hatefulness is a waste; unfortunately, those it hurts most are the minority communities. By keeping everyone battling among themselves and hating their own country is how the real enemy tends to gain an upper hand in all aspects of argumentation, governing authority, and eventually stripping all men (and women) of their God given rights!

My church recently held a “Freedom Night” with John Amanchukwu as the guest speaker. After a very interesting and very eye-opening evening, I just had to read his book and read it in one sitting. The subject matter discussed throughout the book is so important in today’s society. I highly recommend this book.

I learned of this author after hearing a YouTube video of his brief speech at a Wake County (NC) Public School System board meeting. (Listen starting at 1:08:00 if you seek and find that video from 10-18-22; https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UKwT1fH... .)

Pastor John K. Amanchukwu Sr.’s personal story is very interesting and inspiring, but this book is not about him, other than a few brief anecdotes. It’s written from a place of love, respect, and honor. He clearly lays out some stark truths about the history of racism in this country and elsewhere. He seeks to make this world a better place where a child can truly thrive. I highly recommend this book no matter your ethnicity, political leaning or preconceived level of interest in the topic.

Thank you Mr. Amanchukwu.

It has been said that “dynamite comes in small packages.” This statement bears true with this book – it isn’t long, but its message packs a punch that can’t be ignored. This book was written by a pastor for pastors and indeed all Christians. It cuts through the hype, disinformation, and outright lies of the twin abominations of Abortion and Critical Race Theory. It’s a call not only to listen but also a call to act! It's hands down the best book I've read on the topic. Amanchukwu is to be commended for speaking truth!

Not a lot in this book that I didn't already know about but I think the most daring chapter is the one where he compares the tendency of African-Americans to vote for the Democratic Party to the Stockholm Syndrome. Easy to read and only 140 pages.

'Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.' Is. 5:20
Author John Amanchukwu wrote this excellent book uncovering the evil of CRT and abortion. These two evils are a plot to destroy the Black community and divide the church, according to Amanchukwu. I underlined and highlighted so much pertinent information in this book. I admire this man who continues to stand for Biblical truths on these issues and be a voice to expose these ideologies and states that this ideology is far from a biblical way of thinking and has no place to be preached in the pulpits.

Amanchukwu states in his book that babies are a precious gift from God, an irreplaceable image-bearer of the Almighty. CRT and abortion are built on lies, and 'it runs counter to the gospel.'

'One of the jobs of a pastor, then, is to help people do their politics as ambassadors of God's kingdom.'

'Make no mistake: Satan wants to destroy our children either in the womb through the brutal practice of abortion or more slowly through our nation's schools and media, which have been overrun by progressives.'

Amanchukwu grew up very poor in Raleigh, NC. He began to play football in high school, which led to him playing for NCSU under Chuck Amato on a full scholarship. He later became a youth and college pastor in Raleigh. He is the executive director of Upper Room Christian Academy.

It's a lie to believe that it's loving to remain silent instead of speaking truth that might be offensive.

I took away many things from this book, but something that stood out to me was where he stated that people confess biblical truth with their lips but then go out into the world and engage in politics as though they never read a word of Scripture. **The progressive agenda is not an agenda for a follower of Christ to cling to and some who claim to be believers continue to vote for leftist candidates. Let that sink in! As followers of Christ, we must be engaged in politics every day of the year.

I heard about the Eraced movement (in part a movement rejecting CRT in schools and not reducing a person to the color of their skin) and sought out this book. Whether you agree with the movement or not, I think the author does a nice job of laying out his argument.

There is a lot of information packed into a quick listen. I will definitely be listening again so I can let it all set in. The author provides a PDF of his sources for each chapter in the audible version.

I was left underwhelmed. It came off to me as a rant instead of informing me of the downside to CRT and abortion. Most of the statements made by him were more opinion and not fact. IDK it was some good content in the book, but some of the stuff just hit me bad. Also, I have never heard of CRT until now. I have never been taught to hate white people. Where does he get this from. From my understanding CRT is a college course not high school or lower. He talked negatively about democrats, abortions etc. Not one mention of republicans etc. All of them are equally bad in my eyes. That is just my opinion. If you read this I encourage you to read White Fragility.

Thought-Provoking Examination of Current Culture

This author boldly and articulately challenges mainstream culture and certain ideologies. I appreciated his scrutiny of trends that have absolutely devastated our nation. His is an honest plea for people to take a second look around, think critically for themselves, and vote accordingly.

Thought provoking book that exposes how businesses and people slowly try to control the youth through indoctrination. Pay attention to the schools and do not vote against your better interest.

Magnificent!

This is a book everyone who professes to be a Christian should read. Pastor John pulls no punches but "tells it like it is." I intend to read every book he ever writes.

An excellent book! It does read like an author’s first book, but it’s still a very solid work. I can’t yet speak to his development as an author in his newest book Hoodwinked (which I plan to read).

I think that most of us in America today recognize that something is wrong with our approach to race, but many of us have differing views about how this problem should be discussed and solved. In Eraced, John Amanchukwu (a Black pastor) addresses two of the most racially harmful ideologies in America today: abortion and Critical Race Theory. Amanchukwu uncovers the lies behind these “twin evils born of the same diabolical monster” of racism, exploring how they have harmed the Black community despite claims from many that they exist to better the lives of Black Americans. Amanchukwu makes a case for abortion’s literal obliteration of Black lives (as Black babies are more likely to be aborted than babies of other races), and he exposes the ways that Critical Race Theory has kept the Black community from opportunities and growth.

After showing how abortion and CRT have caused division in the church, Amanchukwu offers advice for Black and White ministers in addressing these issues (rather than overlooking them as many have done). He also offers Biblical suggestions for all Christians hoping to confront these twin problems with wisdom and compassion. His presentation is honest, practical, and hopeful.

Amanchukwu’s ideas are different from many I’ve heard coming from the Black community, and I admire his willingness to speak out in ways that will ruffle feathers on both the Left and the Right of these issues. Amanchukwu’s presentation is rooted in Biblical context and provides plenty of historical background as well as an examination of our current political landscape. The book is short and just skims the surface of a lot of these issues, but it is a good launching point for those interested in a solution-minded approach to racism from a Christian perspective. Also check out John Cooper’s interview with the author which goes into these topics in a conversational format.

Easy read. Amanchukwu presents an argument that harm is being done to the Black community by the democrat party, BLM, school system agendas, and “diversity” training. Well presented arguments worthy of a read regardless of beliefs.
