An enjoyable read.

Though I found the title a little deceptive. Whilst Pat Cummins is A focus of the book, he's not the main focus. The book is primarily a detailed coverage of the 2021/22 Australia v England Ashes series. It does give greater coverage of Cummins' performance in that series, and the earlier chapters focus on events that lead to him being awarded the captaincy.
However, given the title, I was expecting a greater coverage of Pat's earlier life and a greater insight to the man, his family and so on.
