A beautiful and moving read. Poems range from grief to joy to wonder. McMillan writes about lost loves, her family, nature, and feminism.

Her writing is fierce and intimate, leaving you wanting more after turning each page.

My favorite poems are: "I Am Earth", "November", and "We're All Afraid of Men VI."
