Living not too far from Sanibel while it’s community lovingly works to restore it after Hurricane Ian, this series has been a warm reminder of why people find Sanibel “magical”.
This last and 7th book did not disappoint.
Oftentimes, an author tying up all the characters can feel rushed or inauthentic.
I enjoyed how not everyone ends up “happily” together…. But I don’t want to spew any spoilers!
Highly recommend this lovely 7 book series. The author will have you wanting to travel to Sanibel right away…. But please give the community time to rebuild their beloved island and landmarks. Ding Darling Nature preserve did exist, but suffered “extensive damage” from the hurricane. If you are so inclined, keep yourself abreast of any support needed to try and reinvent this truly magical wildlife refuge.
Magic does exist here in southwest Florida.
Not just on the page in readers hands, but in multiple communities that respect nature and honor “family”; who the author clearly demonstrate are not always or only “blood” relatives.
Love and genuine kindness above all. Not forgetting but forgiving past mistakes. Magic if you are lucky.
Highly recommend!

Such a wonderful series! I love all the books in the Shellseeker Beach series. There are so many fabulous characters developed in a way you feel they are your own personal friends. Emotions are all over the place in the final book. There is tension, anxiety, and uncertainty, fear of losing those you love; there is joy and excitement, and best of all, love and affection for the friends and found family created on Shellseeker Beach. Sanibel Moonlight is a heartwarming end to the series. I am sorry to say goodbye to good friends but I will look forward to Hope Holloway’s next series!

This is a wonderful ending to the Shellseeker Beach series. So many feels, so much emotion! There’s love, suspense, and uncertainty. I laughed, and worried, and cried. I love the way it finished, but I’m sorry to see it end. Hope Holloway writes a great story of what it means to be a family, and the love that binds them together. Touching and heartwarming!

OMG what an awesome book and a great ending to the series. So many twists and turns that keep you wondering what will happen next. I loved the ending. Very fitting for the series. I so hated to see it end.

Well, I really wanted to savor and keep the feeling of reading the last book of this series to last for a couple of days. BUT, I couldn’t put it down and read it in less than a day! This was a satisfying ending for this series but it sure had a lot of ups and downs. Some happy, some sad, and some fraught with some danger. Of course, sometimes it was hard to forget what that whole area just went through with Hurricane Ian but it was nice to imagine that life was going on just like we wanted it to be at Shellseeker Beach. I love looking forward to reading a new book in a series but, also dread it because I don’t want it to be over with. I look forward to a new series with new characters to learn about and love.

This book was the seventh in a series. The series started out really good friend beach. Read seven books is a lot and I was kind of sick of the characters at this point but I’m glad I finished it’s easy and light.

Holloway concludes her Shellseeker Beach series with another complex, emotional, feel-good story for these unforgettable characters. One of the many things I've enjoyed about this series is how real and relatable Holloway's characters are. They form a mixture of backgrounds, generations, and life experience, all expertly woven together into a tapestry of more than friendship. Over the course of seven books, they have formed romantic relationships, discovered unknown siblings, opened their hearts to new experiences, suffered disappointments and betrayals, and become chosen family. They are flawed, like us all, which makes them so much more interesting. They have depth, as do their journeys. But they also have fun, this small group who have joined together at Shellseeker Beach. They make me want to join them. They make me want to know them.

In this final book of the series, Holloway ties up all of the loose ends that have fluttered throughout the series. There are hard won happily ever afters, and although some of them may not look exactly like series readers expected, this reader was very happy with the way things turned out. To readers who have not yet discovered the Shellseeker Beach series, I strongly recommend reading these seven books in order.

True to form, the epilogue made me laugh, smile, and shed more than a few tears along with a fond farewell. The fact that the series setting - Sanibel Island - was significantly damaged by Hurricane Ian made that final chapter all the more poignant.

If you enjoy women's fiction with humor, heart, hope, and more than a few happily ever afters, I enthusiastically recommend Hope Holloway's Shellseeker Beach series.

I thought the first six were fantastic but this one beats all!!!

An amazing ending to a fantastic series, one of my favorite! I read on the newsletter that Hope Holloway, the amazing author was having trouble ending this series but she did. It goes out with a testimony to the love between all the members that were Teddy's, who is the owner of Shellseekers, adopted family. In this book, you have; someone from the past who is not what they thought them to be, a spoiled willful teen whose only love was herself & her phone a real drama queen, that almost kills someone in her spoilness.. Two mom's that are worried about their sons, a spoiled proposal, a life or death accident, a killer & thief, last but not least two engagements, a wedding, and a goodbye to one of them who brought everyone of this wonderful, dear family together. This one is the best of the best but why listen to me , see if you can read it without putting it down like I did. Thank you, Hope!

I enjoyed this series but not as much as the previous series. I am certain the author wished to have Theodora (Teddy) seen in a loving nurturing light. I however believed her to be somewhat controlling and self righteous in her belief that the land was hers!! Her parents sold it! Just because her family had owned it for generations didn’t mean she deserved to have the land, which was worth millions! She was portrayed as this generous person! People worked for her and they only received room and board? Where did all the money from running the cottages, the gift shop, the sports shop go? Not to those doing the work! I felt she was manipulating them all! I’m not a cynical person I am the one who is taken advantage of! She had them all doing her bidding and it made me wonder what was in that tea and those crystals!! Hmmm?

Ashes to ashes!

This last book in the series was a wonderful ending to a beautiful series!! I read and enjoyed each of the books. There were many heart wrenching moments, but even more happy and heart warming moments. This author writes with such style and grace. She had to have done an enormous amount of research to have gathered all these facts and tuck them into the storyline. Sanibel Island is such a beautiful and special place. There is no other place on earth quite like it!
(Hopefully it won't be too long before our beautiful Sanibel Island will be restored to its natural beauty. Hurricane Ian destroyed so much of the island's natural and structural beauty, as well as taking human lives, wildlife and sea life.)

The most awesome series ever!

My heart feels so happy, yet I miss this Shellseeker Beach family already, I may start over now! I love, love, love that Hope gives us a loving happy place to be. I love that God's Presence is welcomed and present. I read the Coconut Key Series and loved it, but (tearing up), this Shellseeker Beach series introduced me to Sanibel Island and I will forever be grateful. I have seen videos of the lighthouse and of the wonderful seashell treasures. I love the beach and I love seashells, they are part of my happy place. This series touched my heart and enriched my life. Thank you Hope. I look forward to being a part of a new family in a new series. May God continue to use you and bless you abundantly.

I had mixed emotions when picking up the last book of the series. I’ve enjoyed the series so much and hate to see it come to an end. Also, knowing the true devastation in Sanibel this year, there’s a little melancholy that goes along with this last book. Having said that, I absolutely was very satisfied with how all of the relationships and situations were wrapped up. As in life, there were some happy endings and some not so happy…but that’s the beauty of this series…you feel like you know the characters because the writing is realistic and oh so relatable. Absolutely can not wait for Hope’s next series.

the best series so far by Hope Holloway

I think this is the best series so far! It includes wonderful people, all ages. A whole lot of adventure and mystery. I cried often, but what really hit me is Hope began the book by indicating the book was being written after Ian hit Sanibel Island and the island was totally devastated. I spent time in one of the cottages known for years as the Sandcastles which was leveled and they are not building back. I felt like I knew every spot she spoke of in this wonderful series.. Thank yo so much for a wonder heart rendering series. I will move on to the next series!

Thank you Eliza!

I started the 1st book of the series last year but for some reason I didn’t read too far into it,well. I know now. My husband passed away in March of this year & when I started reading this series again Eliza walks into my life. When reading, Ben had been gone as long as my Doug. I have cried with her as she has mourned her husband, I have mourned mine. I have said I didn’t know if I could love again, but if Miles walks into my life now, I might be open to him. Hope Holloway. Thank you for this series. Thank you for these characters, & thank you for the part you didn’t even know you were playing in this girls life from North GA. I am grateful for you.

Words cannot explain the love I have for this series. I cried so much reading book 7. First knowing the beautiful island of Sanibel was no longer the same place we have visited (and fell in love with it) and even if some has never visited, had the feeling they knew all the familiar places. Also knowing this was the end of the series and we were saying goodbye to the family we have grown to love. Hope Holloway is an excellent writer and you actually feel as though you are there. Thank you for another great book!

I Loved the Entire Series!!

Each book was so endearing that I could hardly wait to finish that one and get to the next book in the series!! Thank goodness I'm a speed reader. You have such a great creative writing talent where each books flows seamlessly into the next. I loved Book 7 in the series where the possible paired loves come together and tie the knot! It seems Sanibel Island and Shell seeker beach were the places to be on for matchmaking.
I can hardly wait to read another of your wonderful series you have authored!!/

An absolutely delightful series!

Hope Holloway dropped into my library about a month ago. Appropriately in the month of thanks, and I'm so glad to have found her. Her writing is so well rounded, weaving the complexity of life's ups and downs. Her character development is masterful, you'll grow to either love or on occasion, really dislike, each and every one I'm really going to miss this woven together family. I left my written review for the last in this series, start at the beginning, you'll be thankful you did.

Loved getting to know the characters.

This was a good series. I enjoyed all 7 books. So many of the characters were my favorite hard to pick just one. Couldn’t wait to read the next and the next until I completed all 7 books. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 is the fact the stories seem to rush to the finish line in the last couple of chapters and bring in a couple characters here and there but never mention them again. Other than that fun getting to know the characters and their story.

I'm ready to move to Shellseeker Beach! Just completed all the books in this series. As soon as I finished one, I started the next one. So much love, adventure, surprises in this family. Sanibel Moonlight was much more than I expected. The end of the book was so sweet! Hope Holloway has a magical way of letting her readers feel her writings. I'm looking forward to reading more from her thoughts and her pen.

Sanibel Moonlight is a fitting final book to this series. It is fast paced with highly emotional highs and lows. The characters were vivid and exciting, with a few bad guys sprinkled in to keep you glued to the pages! Hope Holloway writes stories about community, friendships and family uniting to keep you coming back for more! I highly recommended this series, but start at book one so you don't miss anyone's story!

Treasures

This was one of the most enjoyable series of stories I've ever read. Mostly because it had the two qualities I look for. Number 1; your storyline was not predictable. There were unexpected twists and turns to keep me on the edge. Number 2; You wove interest in almost immediately without having to wait until the end for all the fun events and feelings to happen.
I was truly enchanted with your series and cannot wait to read more from you!

I absolutely loved this series and sad it's come to a end. So many life's lessons, adventure, mystery and lessons learned. Each character is unique and their stories come together to form a wonderful family network.
Highly recommend this author, she has a truly unique gift of story telling. Enjoy

Really good!

A really good read with twists & turns that were unexpected but made for a really good story that wrapped up a series I enjoyed and will miss. Surely there is more you can do with these characters, Hope, maybe how the recent hurricane affected Sanibel and their lives??
