I feel like this story gets so much heat as it relates to the entire MCU timeline, but as a standalone film, Chloe Zhao does a brilliant job capturing the essence of a group of superhuman beings trying to navigate their purpose in a humane landscape. From the complexities of understanding good and evil, to the creative decision-making of outfit choices, it's clear as to why this particular piece holds a very unique spot within the Marvel universe.
