Walt’s insights on creativity, imagination, and lifestyle are so impactful!
Many of these quotes touched my heart, and I definitely want to refer back to them frequently. I highly recommend this book to any Disney fan.

Such a great book honoring an incredibly talented man! We could sure use his wisdom and insight nowadays. Makes me a little sad to realize just how far the Disney Company has strayed from Walt's original visions for his parks and movies.

It is a thoughtful and organized time capsule of Walt Disney’s very own words categorized by chapter. This book is for anyone eager to learn more about a man who had such an incredible, positive impact on his own time and on the future yet to be.
The book is compiled by Walt Disney Archives which puts it leagues above any other resource for legitimate Walt Disney quotations, especially any that you might find scouring the internet (and wonder if Walt ever did really say that). A must-read for Disney fans and a great addition to your bookshelf!
When I bought this book, I assumed it was going to be filled with the typical quotes Disney fans are familiar with. What I was not expecting was for the book to be filled with quotes from Walt Disney about life, inspiration, family, business, and so much more! I highly recommend this book if you're an avid Disney fan looking for your next five star read, or someone who is looking for a little bit of inspiration and motivation.

I used to watch Disney movies, but I don't anymore. It's hard to get excited over a live-action rehash of a film they made over 20 years ago.
Walt Disney himself seemed like a capable businessman. He knew what audiences wanted and gave it to them. The book is a series of quotes by Walt Disney. You can breeze through it without much effort.

There are a lot of Walt Disney quote books, but the best ones are from the Walt Disney Archives, like this one because the author is the Director of the Archives. Some of my favorites:
“We don’t even let the word ‘art’ be used around the studio. If anyone begins to get arty, we knock them down. What we strive for is entertainment.”
“WE ARE NOT TRYING TO ENTERTAIN THE CRITICS. I’ll take my chances with the public.”
“THE MOTION PICTURE WILL NEVER FULLY REPLACE THE PRINTED WORD, but it will go a long way in becoming its most valuable adjunct."
“WOMEN ARE THE BEST JUDGES OF ANYTHING WE TURN OUT. If the women like it, to heck with the men.”
“I THINK IT’S IMPORTANT TO HAVE A GOOD HARD FAILURE WHEN YOU’RE YOUNG. I learned a lot out of that. Because it makes you kind of aware of what can happen to you. Because of it I’ve never had any fear in my whole life when we’ve been near collapse and all of that. I’ve never been afraid. I’ve never had the feeling I couldn’t walk out and get a job doing something.”
“YOU’RE DEAD IF YOU AIM ONLY FOR KIDS. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway.”
