This is a tough one to review. I usually try to imagine a book's target audience and rate according to how it meets that audience's needs/desires while also combining my personal takeaway from the experience. It's honestly hard to decide who this book is right for. If you are on the fence about NFTs, this book somewhat tries (but will not succeed) to convince you of the value in NFTs. However, that doesn't seem to be the goal of the book. If you wanted to simply research about the process of making and selling NFTs then there is a bunch of info that may be too specific for your liking (and a lot of general process info that is lacking). You have to want to make NFTs right now to really get the most out of this book. And yet, this is where the book is at it's weakest. Other than telling you where to go to get started (which I'm sure would take all of 5 minutes to search for online), there isn't much here that the websites themselves wouldn't possibly walk you through better than this book. Additional info about safety and marketing are helpful, but not nearly specific enough to be actionable. The most helpful aspects of this book are the many ways that it points you to actual information elsewhere. The resources section seems like a great place to start if you want to read on this topic, and once you find a site or resource you want more information on it would likely be better to google it, if for no other reason than the fact that we are dealing with the world of the internet and this book will be out of date by the time you are done reading this review. This seemed reasonable in concept and was something I did want to learn more about, but it missed the mark.

Despite the author's salesman-like attitude, investments in storing your works of art, craft, or images of your craft, in the new technology known as "non-fungible tokens" won't make everyone rich. You must first have made something people can recognize and are willing to pay for. But NFT is paying off for some people who've stored and marketed their art this way, and Elrad has put a lot of work into researching the sites, platforms, and apps that were working for this technology at the time of writing. (Inevitably this section of the book will go out of date, since new apps have gone live already, but for now it's a current and potentially valuable reference work.)
If you have in fact created something that works well in a digital format and that people will like, NFT Your Art can help you make it pay.

This book is a great resource if you want to sell your artwork and does break down exactly what an NFT is and isn't.
Yes, you could scour around for the information, but why would you? Mr. Elrad has done that work for you.
This book does discuss:
-creating your own NFTs (even if from physical work)
-where you can sell/buy them
-and how to market your work
It is a very niche type of book. If you aren't interested in selling or learning more about NFTs, look elsewhere; however, if you are a creative and what to dip your toe into the NFT market, try this book; it's written in a very clear and understandable manner.
