Mating Maddox

Maddox
On his first day of kindergarten, Maddox shared his crayons with a young werewolf and gained a best friend for life. Fiercely loyal, kind, and always up for a good time, Vidarr is a cinnamon bun and Maddox would do anything to protect him.

Vidarr's older brother, Thor, on the other hand, Maddox would gladly push into a sinkhole. Where Vidarr is happy, good-natured, and kind, Thor is a brutish bully who's hated Maddox since the day they lay eyes on each other.

The feeling is almost mutual.

Thor, with his big muscles, leather jackets, and thighs that could crush boulders, is the worst person Maddox knows, and Maddox would rather eat sand than admit that the highlight of his week is when they inevitably get into a fight and Thor puts him in a headlock.

It's purely physical, Maddox tries to convince himself. Thor is the pinnacle of a werewolf alpha--with his chiseled features, dominant attitude, and tendency to manhandle people into submission--and anyone with eyes would be attracted to him.

Right?

It's not like Maddox has a crush or anything.

Thor
Sometimes, Thor looks at the person the universe chose to be his mate and wonders what he did to deserve that. Maddox is obnoxiously loud, he dresses like a color-blind frat boy, and worst of all, he's completely immune to the charm that makes everyone else fall over themselves to please him and make Thor's life easy.

It's infuriating.

Thor knows that bickering with Maddox and antagonizing him is not the way to get his mate to like him, but he can't help himself. They've fallen into a pattern, and Thor doesn't know how to get out of it.

Maddox being asked on a date by a meathead jock who absolutely does not deserve him is the kick in the butt Thor needs to act. Faced with the realization that his mate could slip through his fingers, Thor realizes that unless he's willing to risk losing Maddox forever, he has to make a move.

It's easier said than done.

(This 115k word steamy paranormal romance features a dominant werewolf and a bratty human who are destined to live happily ever after. The story contains bondage, leather kink, sensory deprivation, sounding, enema play, watersports, and spanking. It has a happy ending and no cliffhanger.)

Oh dear...

Let me say right off that I am a major Heart fan. I've read every book aside from the shrinking one and would run into a flaming building to make sure I had my kindle so I could read them. That's how much of a fan I am.. Which means what I am going to say hurts me. I was not thrilled with this one.

I'm gonna be spoiling this a bit so stop now if you don't want to read it.

Maddox is a human who was besties with a werewolf who had an older brother who apparently hated him from the moment they met, which I think was when Maddox was in the first grade.

Thor was older and treated Maddox horribly for all the years from first grade until college, which is when this relationship starts. As an aside, if there had been any sexytimes happening when Maddox was a literal child, I would have been pissed. Fated or not, that is not cool. Nor was the fact that everyone knew it except for Maddox.

Anyways, all of a sudden and with no warning, Thor decides he is gonna get with Maddox, who is 20 now. There is honestly no lead up to the change of behavior, no sudden niceness, no flirting. Just bang, we are gonna be together.

And Thor is still mean. I'm sorry, but he wasn't being a Dom, he was just a bully. Which leads me to what really pissed me off about this relationship, the lack of consent. If you are going to go noncon/dubcon then go for it. Don't have a talk about being safe and have a safe word and the ignore it when Maddox does not want to do it. Over and over again Maddox actually says no, I do not want to do that and yet Thor just goes ahead and does it. Most of the time though, Maddox has a hood on with his mouth covered so he cannot speak while his hands are bound. I mean, he had an extreme enema and sounding scene and Maddox could not stop it at all. This was not safe. This was abuse. Maddox had no lifestyle experience. There should have been more talking, more explaining.

Yes, near the end we get the whole scene where Thor is horrified about it but Maddox totally blows that off and on top of that Thor does not remember the conversation after the poison wears off so what was the scene for? It made no sense.

This story had no real plot so the scenes and there are so many of them, stood out more.

The epilogue was confusing. That whole scene where Maddox is treated bad by his "friends"? I get that he has come to accept the way Thor treats him but are we supposed to be ok with others doing it too?

DNF at 45% and so far might be a two star. I may try to keep reading so I can leave a full review with stars, but this is a long AF book that’s high on kink and low on steam. How is that possible you ask? I don’t know. This book is just the most unsexy kinky book I’ve ever read. Their chemistry is weird. The DubCon would be hot if it was consensual DubCon but it’s not… the Alpha/Dom literally doesn’t ask for anything, just says “you can use your safeword” and the sub is too stubborn to use it. And it’s. Not. Hot. It’s decidedly unsexy. The sex, the BJ’s, the everything, is forceful and painful and uncomfortable as described by the sub and it’s. not. sexy. I read all the kink and bdsm and pushing the boundaries of everything… as long as it’s done right. And this is not done right. Bleh.

I think Mating Maddox has to be one of the sweetest DJ heart stories I've read so far and one of the kinkiest.

We have Maddox (20) and Thor, a werewolf (26), who have been at each other's throats for years. Maddox is a human who has been best friends with Thor's younger brother since they were children. However, Maddox is also Thor's mate. He has been annoyed by the human forever and has been trying to keep his distance, especially since Maddox was a teenager (when he started giving him some very teenage lustful vibes). However, now that Maddox is of age, rejecting his mate only hurts him and Maddox. Maddox has been confused forever that his best friend's brother seems to hate his very being. However, once he realizes he's Thor's mate and that while Thor is a bully, he actually does deeply care for him.

Poor Maddox, Thor treats him so awful at first, but thankfully, he gets some sense knocked into him and properly claims his mate instead of continuing to emotionally hurt him. I loved that once they get on the same page, Thor is 100% in.

Goodness.

This book is definitely one of the kinkiest I have read, we get hardcore kinks. I feel like with each DJ Heart book, I learn something new about the kink/BDSM world.

In this book, we get sounding, leather/boot/muscle worship, spanking, enemas, watersports - mouth and ass, knotting, bondage, sensory deprivation, praise kink and more. Most of the acts are consensual, but I think due to how Heart writes, it can come off as dub con-ish. There are no noncon scenes for sure (in my opinion) because Maddox does agree to everything. Still, Thor does decide to go a bit further than discussed - those moments might make some readers uncomfortable. There's a moment in which Thor freaks out that he might have crossed lines, but that is not the case. Whenever Maddox draws a line on a kink or act, Thor never crosses it. It is off the table. This fictional book with werewolves is not meant to be a BDSM guide, so don't expect that, but rules are not completely thrown out the window either.

Later, they’d be having a discussion about how Thor had been offered an inch and taken a whole kinky mile, but Maddox wasn’t upset, and he didn’t want to have that discussion now when he was feeling all submissive and pliable.

Thor was a brutish asshole who enjoyed being a bully, and Maddox enjoyed that. And still, bullying behavior aside, Thor never crossed the line. That was half the reason Maddox liked getting fucked by him so much. It was exhilarating, but in the way a rollercoaster was exhilarating. You knew you were safe.

As with all of the DJ Heart books I’ve read so far, you get the super masculine butch Alpha males. Lot’s of emphasis on muscle - like Maddox literally worships Thor’s muscles, and they all look like they walked out of a Tom of Finland drawing - literally.

Maddox had an image of himself in handcuffs, Thor looming over him dressed up as a police officer. Not the kind his dad wore – because, no – but the kind you saw in Tom of Finland drawings. All tight breeches, tall boots, and fitted leather jackets cinched at the waist.

I found this book to be super, super hot. I can’t even pick which quotes from my highlights to include in my review because there are too many to choose from! Like it’s 80% sex and 20% plot, but I did not mind it at all. This is a gay erotic romance, so I don’t come looking for a plot-central story. There is a plot, but it’s secondary.

Overall, I really enjoyed it and excited to read more of his stories.

There are two kinds of smut in this world: one that works for you, and one that doesn't. Mating Maddox worked extremely well for me; and I found this book to be deliciously sexy and immensely satiating. Perfect for what I was craving.

-1* for some pointless drama throughout the story, making it longer than it had to be.

Oh boy, this was...not good. This was my first read by DJ Heart and probably my last. This was a horrible way to portray the D/s lifestyle. Aside from the fact that there was no relationship development no buildup or romance in any way. Thor was not a proper Dom he was a bully. Maddox was subjected to horrible treatment and if he tried to set limits they'd be completely ignored. There was no proper aftercare either. Thor was just selfish and mean and I disliked him immensely.

This was awful I felt terrible for Maddox.

This book is a classic DJ Heart style in the dubcon genre. Not the first book I read by this author so I knew what I was getting myself into.

One of the main M.C Thor, is a horrible person. At the beginning, I felt sorry for Maddox but after more pages, I wasn’t sure anymore.

Thor know that Maddox is his mate for a while, he found the younger man annoying and keep bullying him. For some reasons, things change when Maddox get a date and Thor decide he wants him. The older werewolf makes sure to scare Maddox’s date away and propose to go at his place.
Since this is an erotic book, they jump right into bed, and this is where things get even more problematics. Thor like to be in charge but keep pushing Maddox to his limit and doesn’t understand the word stop. He also keeps continuing even after being told it was enough.

Thor have all the red flags and keep saying things that are just plain wrong, like: “I know but you will take it anyway, right?” or he “couldn’t bring himself to regret being rough”.
I wish Maddox would have stood his ground, he let his lover do too much stuff and doesn’t protest much, even he is he clearly not comfortable in some situations.

“He was feeling a lot less like making Thor happy and a lot more like he should be worried about what exactly he signed up for”. Or “Thor had been offered an inch and taken a whole kinky mile.”

Being in control doesn’t mean you can do what you want without consulting your partner and being submissive doesn’t mean you have to let your partner do what ever he wants because he like it, or to make him happy. Certain parts of the book make me doubt, since Thor ask Maddox if he is okay, give a little bit of after care but in general it still felt wrong.

The list of kinks is long with this book, just to name a few: leather, bondage, enema, watersport, sounding, knotting, spanking, dom/sub (but not in a healthy way).

At the end, it felt long and redundant, I got tired of all the sex scenes, the “good boy”. There was not much plot, and the characters didn’t have any development what so ever. The whole werewolf thing didn’t have much world setting and I wish the mama Alpha would have smack some sense into her son.

I am not sure I will read other books by this author, not really my style and I prefer my romance/erotic book with more consent.

I'm so disappointed because the beginning of this book was seriously so good! The potential! 😭
Wtf happened with Thor doing a sudden complete turn around and inviting Maddox on that "second" date out of nowhere and then they immediately jump into sex and hardcore kink? There was no build up to anything! I made it to 30%, the scene with the sound device and enema and just could not read any further. Where is the story? After their movie date, it was truly just awful. I was not even half way and can't possibly think of what else this story would have to offer since their relationship went from enemies to instalove in the span of one paragraph.
Also, are these guys in their 20s or 16 because Thor is seriously immature. Such a letdown when the storyline sounded soo good! If you're looking for porn with absolutely no romance, building of a real relationship, or substance, this is the book for you.

DNF @ 40%

Where was the story? Seriously where because all I got was mutual pining disguised as hate that changed into hardcore kink with no consent after 2.5 seconds. I really disliked Thor he was not a Dom he was a bully who reveled in doing things that Maddox hadn’t consented to and clearly wasn’t enjoying. Maddox was nervous and tentative and Thor just railroaded him at every turn caring VERY little if at all about how he was doing and feeling. There is a way to finesse dubcon and this author clearly does not have it.

I was so disappointed after a really interesting start! Bleh I need a palate cleanser now.

DNF at 33%. Love me some bdsm when it’s consensual and with aftercare. Like when Thor was upset Maddox wasn’t excited about a cock cage I was like huh??? Just a really selfish lover for not having any aftercare at all.

TRIGGER WARNINGS!

So first let me start by I LOVE the whole werewolf/mate ordeal, however not to this context. It's a totally new world of dom/sub but the SUB is the one with the power as they have say, limits, and treatments the dom does not get. Cherishment, love, and grooming after debasing is a MUST. None of that here. But what triggered me the MOST was that Maddox was constantly referred to as "a boy". No thank you. He's twenty which isn't off setting, however it's still extremely strange wording that I couldn't follow when a grown man mentally refers to his lover as a boy. Lastly, there is no plot or seemingly other relationship outside of that of a dom/sub constantly playing around right. Nothing made much sense out of leather in this novel, so there's your warning for this book. Made it only halfway through and I physically could not do more than that. I really tried though.

Where is the story line?

I got this book because the synopsis was great! Well I feel tricked because this book has almost no story line and absolutely no character building. If you like to read bad porn then this book is for you. I feel like she just took everything she thought she knew about kink and through it all into 1 book. If you took out the bad sex and very poorly written kink parts, this book would be about 20 pages long and that's me being generous. This was almost on my DNF list.

Another fantastically kinky book with a tonne of heart too. This was really quite sweet, with strong emotions and a deep connection despite the mating trope.
I really enjoyed the outside plot as well as all the smut, and was actually hoping there was more of this world because it was so interesting!
The smut itself was unique, inventive and certainly boundary pushing. We had watersports, extreme BDSM, sensory deprevation and much more - some stuff I've never read in novels before.
I'm definitely going to be checking out more of D.J. Heart's books, if they're anything like this I'm in for a treat!

I liked the first 15%-20%. And then I started hating everything when I realized there was no plot, no world building, no character development, no angst or conflict whatsoever, and no depth to anything but the sex scenes (which are like 50%+ of the book, not kidding). The sex is really good, I'll give you that.

Some of the BDSM practices are really questionable and distract from the sex scenes. Like straight up non con that everyone is somehow just hunky dory with. ???

I hated Maddox with a passion, holy shit what a fucking pushover. Thor was decent but very little depth.

Looking for smut and don't mind dub/non con? This is a great choice if you like hardcore BDSM with shifter knots. Looking for a good story or really any purpose other than smut? Or are you offended by BDSM books that tewch shitty ideas (noncon)? Hard pass on this, don't even waste your time.

Not quite what I expected

The blurb made no mention of the very explicit kinks that make up the majority of this book. If you are not into BDSM, humiliation, piss play etc this book is likely not for you. There is very little plot but a lot of kink. It reminds me of an 80s porno movie. The writing style isn’t horrible, and the trope is a favorite, but it is not to my taste.

This reads as if were written as a high school writing project-in HS they would have got a really kind A instead of the more deserved B. It made a number of BDSM promises but I could not read long enough to get there. I am sure there are reading persons who will love this, just not me.

Oh. My. Everything.

This was EVERYTHING. It was a little different than most DJ heart books but also very much the same. Still crammed full of intense, rough, kinky sex, but kind of fluffy at the same time. A lot of humor, a LOT of smexy times, and a strangely fluffy romance that kinda makes your insides warm up. I absolutely LOVED every second of this. Thor and Maddox are the BEST!!! Cannot reccomend highly enough. I'd give this a million stars if I could!

I don’t even know what to say about this book. It started off promising.
But then Thor just had to open his mouth and it went downhill from there. He constantly tested and overstepped Maddox’s limits.
Maddox on the other hand would just refuse to use his safeword?
The kink representation is so not right.

This is just... Gross. Thor is a complete asshat but Maddox overlooks YEARS of bullying because Thor is hot and has a huge 🍆. Then comes frankly abusive and unsafe BDSM and 🤮 I had to nope out. Not a romance at all just kink and someone putting up with a man who should have gone to therapy.

*This is NOT a romance. This is porn.*

This is also not BDSM porn.
It's an, admittedly hot, dub/non-con exploration of as many kinks as it was physically possible to fit into the page count, masquerading as a romantic D/s relationship. There is nothing safe, sane or consensual about it.

POSITIVES: there is some genuinely arousing masturbation material.
Advice: Bury your expectations towards plot, world building and character development, skip all the bullshit abuse excuses and just enjoy the sex.

The beginning has the plot-adjacent stuff, everything after has the intense kink. Depending on the point of view, either part is entirely pointless, because they are completely inconsequential to each other.

The relationship goes from 0 to a speeding ticket in 2 pages, loosing all recollection of the backstory in the process. They hate eachother because Thor has been bullying Maddox all his life, then BAM! Thor still abuses Maddox, but now they're in love. And they were both in the wrong, actually.
Don't get attached to interesting concepts, they will not be explored.
Don't worry about the plot and the world, they're a setup for sex scenes.

Thor is just... deeply unlikable. He's a long-time bully and an emotionally stunted, dumb narcissist. At 27, he acts like a 15-year-old. He's not even the fun kind of asshole!

Maddox is, for most of the book, a sex doll with a "reassurance" option. I can't even bring myself to dislike him for being a doormat 90% of the time, because he's too one-dimensional and everyone (bar Viddar, the only nice character) treats him like a stupid little house pet. And not in the sexy way.

Maddox staying sat on the bed because he's scared Thor will make fun of him if he trips is. Really sad?? There are several moments like that, like little upsetting wet spots on the dry, warm blanket of fantasy, and the underlying reason - lifelong bullying - doesn't get explored at all, nor resolved.

There are so many little moments with side characters that leave a bad taste in my mouth. From Maddox's dad knowing he's Thor's mate and not telling him, to his college friends thinking he's not good enough for a boyfriend like that.

And I could forgive all of it for some good old erotic fantasy, had the book not repeatedly tried to portray the awful, abusive sex practices as kinky, but harmless.
I enjoy dub/non-con a lot. This book pretends that it's neither and tries to cover the evidence with a talk about safety and love declarations. Because you know, it's not rape if they are aroused.

Maddox repeatedly doesn't use his safeword despite feeling uncomfortable, unsafe, or not enjoying the situation. He doesn't know what's happening 90% of the time. He doesn't voice half of his concerns or ask someone for help - not that they would.

Thor takes away Maddox's ability to safeword, doesn't listen to his worries, takes advantage of his inexperience and either extremely pushes, or straight up ignores his boundaries. There is virtually no aftercare. Nothing is discussed beforehand.
When the safeword issue is brought up at the end, it's pushed aside as fucking unimportant. As silly to worry about. I wanted to strangle someone.

Why pretend to care about the good practices, when you're going to decide they don't matter immediately after? Just be honest for fuck's sake.

Things get way better at the end and thank god, but the beginning really makes it seem like the starting point is perfectly fine.

(On a side note, little pisses me off more than character's fuckup being excused because "look, the guilt makes them so miserable!" - when they had done NOTHING to actually help/support the person they hurt. And the victim being left with all the emotional labour.)

2.5* rounded up for the writing style.

Firstly, just to prefix I don't mind books with borderline noncon or dubcon as long as it's clear that's what the book is. I also like kink. And werewolf books - alot of such ive read with dubcon etc in them.

I did enjoy the writing in the book and the plot we did get was good. The spice was well written. However I had three main issues.

1. The book talks about being safe and consensual- giving Maddox a safe word etc- and then proceeded to completely ignore it. For example, several times Maddox said no and was ignored but seemed like he was too stubborn to safword or that he couldn't. In a scene, Maddox is put in a sensory deprivation hood, mittens and gagged so he couldn't use any kind of verbal/non-verbal safe words at all. This is written as okay as Thor can use his wolf senses to tell Maddox is okay. What is the point of discussing a safe word if you take away any ability you use it? This is awful BDSM practice.

2. Thor was Maddox's childhood bully.
So much so that he gave him self-esteem issues. For example, locking him.in a basement overnight on his own when Maddox is only 11. Even when they get together, Thor is still a bully. He forces his kinks onto Maddox, who hasn't any experience with kink, without any prior discussion on limits etc. But it's seen as okay cause Thor dresses up in leather sometimes. Maddox is a *literal* doormat in this situation. Aside from the leather thing, there is no discussion about what Maddox would like to try kink wise.

3. Thor hates Maddox and then in like a paragraph he wants to date him with zero character development. I don't mind getting straight into the spice but I think I needed a bit more development than that.

There is a scene where Thor realises what an asshole he'd been with the safe word, pushing Maddox but later on its revealed his doesn't even remember the conversation so what was the point? Also why at the end do all of Maddox's best friends suddenly start treating him like he's repulsive and delusional? And he's just okay with it?

As i said, I don't mind dubcon but don't try and pretend it's not dubcon when it clearly is. There is a way to write this dynamic that just didn't land here for me. However the writing style is good and I will give the author another go.

Thor and Maddox were hot! I absolutely loved so many things about their relationship. I loved that Maddox thought that Thor hated him, and so did everything that he could to aggravate Thor and make him notice him - even though it wasn’t always consciously. I loved that Thor had been noticing Maddox’s likes and dislikes for years, and had deliberately worked on being as hot as he could for his mate.

When they got together, it was amazing to see how fun they made being together. I loved that they didn’t necessarily share all of the same kinks, but were very compatible and open to finding those things that they both enjoyed. And I have to say that the sounding sessions were some of the hottest things that I’ve read in a while.

The one question that I have, that I don’t think was really ever mentioned, was how would a human recognize a werewolf? Was it just a lucky guess? Do they just discriminate against any larger than average people? And when they don’t get the reaction to their attempts at terrorism, do they just figure that they didn’t actually target a real werewolf? Also, is it only the werewolves’ desire to avoid revealing a weakness that prevents the oil from being declared a terrorist tool? Because if they can prove that it has the effects that it does, wouldn’t that then remove culpability from the werewolf and legally place the fault for any damage an affected wolf does on the person to caused the lack of control?

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Oh Daniel

I swear I don't hate this author. I just don't understand the majority of his books. Why do I keep reading them I hear you asking? I don't know. I'm a masochist, I got problems.

This book is just confusing. And I don't mean in Daniel's usual flavor of dropping us in our world where alpha werewolves exist and there's no explanation of any kind given, and any world building we do get is only going to raise further questions. That's just kind of his ammo so I've learned to accept it. I'm talking the overall story. It didn't make any sense.

This book had a lot of potential. Especially the beginning. I really liked the first chunk. But it just progressively got more off-the-rails as it went. From the whole idea that werewolves are oppressed in the society (it literally makes no sense), the drugging, to Thor being a jerk throughout the book for seemingly no reason. The weird push and pull between Maddox and Thor that went on way too long, and the mate trope that was shoddily done, there was just too much going on and it was all a bit of mess.

This just didn't work. Truly, I think Daniel is at his best when he is giving you a smutty romp with minimal plot. This book, way too much plot (and not that much smut when I think about it). It's not the worst thing he's written but it's far from his best work. It's not really a three stars but unlike Thor, I know when to pull my punches. For those of you keeping score at home, if we are using our M. Night Shyamalan rating, this is about a Trap.

I'm 50% in and this book is giving me the ick. I want to see if it gets any better, but I feel the smut is seems to be dub-con pretending to be fully-con, but it's heavily leaning into non-con imo.

This is NOT in any way, shape or form a healthy BDSM dynamic. They NEVER sat down an even had a conversation about the dynamic, expectations, safe words, limits or anything before Thor throws Maddox in the deep end in their first encounter. I refuse to call Thor a dom, he was a childhood bully and now he basically bullied Maddox into dating him only after he had a date with someone else planned, and now he's a s3xual bully too. I was incredibly grossed out by him being very rough with Maddox and he had ZERO way to safe word if it was appropriate. He had tied his hands up, put a sensory hood on him so he couldn't see or hear and then stuffed his mouth. I am a big fan of BDSM/k!nky books but the scenes I've seen in this book so far are not remotely sexy to me. They're just Thor loving his ability to control and bully Maddox into doing whatever he wants so long as it pleases him. 50% in and I'm not convinced Thor likes Maddox at all. He seems to be continually annoyed that Maddox isn't completely submissive to him, and he keeps trying to push him into this little box he wants, and doesn't ask him what he wants.

Wonderful enemies-to-lovers romance!! Maddox and Thor are on fire together. I love the smut and heat in this story, which works especially well because of the amazing connection and chemistry between the MCs. It’s so well-written! The initial antagonism between our unlikely fated mates and the passion that lies beneath it is incredibly gripping. I loved the sparks and seeing Thor fumble at first as he tries to make some headway with Maddox after years of mutual snide remarks and Thor being quite mean to Maddox. Thor is a bit of a bully, but he genuinely cares for Maddox and grows to love him deeply. I liked how he and Vidarr are together too. Brothers who fight but are there for each other when it counts. There’s this edge of danger as the MCs get together and there’s some flirting with dubcon, and so many kinks…loved it all. Apart from the steam, the story and worldbuilding is really enjoyable, and there’s also some suspense and intrigue because of an outside threat to the shifters, which really upped the scales tension-wise. The secondary characters help bring added depth and nuance to this fast-paced paranormal romance. I can’t wait for the next story by this author.

This book was way too long for me. If you want a lot of smut with non con/ dub con and little to no story, no character development and not much happening then this can work.

I have issues with how they engaged in kink. I don't have any issues with what they did but how it was done. Like if you truly care about your sub/Dom you are going to talk about the things you are going to do before not during, especially when you are just starting out. There can be times when people are in a certain head space where they agree to something they normally wouldn't.
The Dom kept saying you can safeword but he said it in a way that sounded like a challenge as opposed to asking his sub if he was truly ok with what was going on and making him feel comfortable saying he wasnt.
Since they didn't talk about anything before the Dom didn't provide proper after care when his sub was experiencing sub drop.
