I really enjoyed this volume. It features interesting stories that touch on thought-provoking themes, such as choosing to pursue your dreams regardless of societal expectations, and keeping your talents humble to avoid creating pressure from others. I particularly loved the longer stories in this book. They focus more on supporting characters like Ashley, Crechill, Madonna, and Clarice; even though they are a bit vague and stereotypical, they are quite funny and work perfectly for this type of narrative. The shorter tales were also engaging, such as the one about the killer who takes the faces of his victims, or the chapter where Elaina gains weight from eating too much bread. These stories have been perfect to read before bed—they are highly entertaining and an easy, light read.
