Jillian’s pov: She’s the publicist and he’s the face of football. More like the face on the cover of a sports magazine thanks to her. It’s getting harder and harder to keep her secret crush on Jones at bay. Now it turns out she may have a shot at a promotion. It will be fun to see how long she can keep her crush a secret. I have a feeling flirty handsome Jones is about to score on and off the field 🏈
A prequel novella giving us a little insight into what to expect from Lauren Blakely’s Most Likely to Score novel. So what to expect……. Well as the title infers, definitely lots of flirting, even though Jillian Moore is determined not to fall for Jones Beckett’s and his flirty ways (she does have a secret crush on him). She definitely doesn’t need to see his Crown Jewels in the changing rooms, and yes she did a great job of avoiding that one awkward situation. I’m sure though there will be many more on their future endeavours. Can’t wait to find out. A fun, sweet introduction that is available free on retail sites.
Yet another introduction...we already know the characters from the previous book even though just in passing, but now we get a glimpse of what we can expect in a book entirely devoted to them.
This is a nice prequel to Most Likely to Score, where me meet Jones and Jillian. The attraction is strong in these two, but Jillian will it get involved with players on the team she works for, especially not Jones. He’s got a rep as a major player on and off the field, and his non-game exploits have tarnished his image. Jillian does her best to fix that, but she has no desire to be another of his exploits. Darn the major crush she’s had on him since he joined the team! Jones has tried everything to catch the eye of the pretty publicist, but she seems impervious to his best moves. Time for him to up the ante.
Even in shorter reads like this one, Lauren Blakely doesn't hold back. We get the very flirty banter between Jillian Moore and Jones Beckett which is just the start for these two and the want each has for the other. Whetting our appetite for MORE, I can already sense that this somewhat forbidden romance between publicist and football player will undoubtedly cause a bit of strife on the way to their happily ever after.
And I'm all in for all of it and can't wait for the rest of their sexy story.
Most Likely to Flirt is a FREE prequel to Most Likely to Score by Lauren Blakely. I read Most Likely to Score a few years ago when it released and I love that Lauren gave us more of their beginning. And what a beginning! It’s definitely a flirty and fun tease before you get their full story. I can totally picture it. Jillian trying hard to resist Jones while buck naked for the camera. I know I wouldn’t be able to because hot damn…
Jillian and Jones. Publicist and player, in more ways than one. Jillian’s unrequited crush, Jones’ attempts to clean up is image, sets them into each other’s paths.
“Oh. My. Stars. Hi scares. His heart. All the flutters.” - Jillian
Short, sweet, enjoyable banter. Ms. Blakely’s introductions are always an easy read.
This was a short quick read that I liked. Jillian Moore is determined not to fall for Jones Beckett’s and his flirty ways she does have a secret crush on him. Jones has tried everything to catch the eye of the publicist, but she doesn't seem to notice. This book was well written no errors in grammar or spelling.
Jillian and Jones are absolute fire!! There chemistry is off the charts. I can't wait to read the story and find out how Jillian navigates working for the team!! Great teaser!
This quick novella did its job of getting me interested in Jones and Jillian before reading Most Likely to Score. Nothing crazy happened but it gave a little extra background on the characters
