FBI Special Agent Katie Winter and Detective Leblanc are on the search for a killer who leaves the bodies high up in trees. This time they are in Minnesota, but their backs are against the wall. They have been give aVERY short timeline to solve this murder, or their Special Task Force will permanently be disbanded.
Also, Katie is still searching for her twin sister who “drowned” almost20 years ago. Katie now believes her sister may be alive. Is she alive, or is Katie chasing ghosts?
I really enjoy this series.

Katie and Leblanc are facing an unusual serial killer as he places his victims on top of very high trees and at the same time they are searching for the culprit they are running against the clock to avoid the closing of their division. Protect Me has a great plot, the main characters are denser and much more mature, and Katie seems to be getting nearer to solving the mystery regarding her sister.

Another A+ suspenseful read

A real page turner. It kept me interested and on suspense. I've enjoyed every book in this series. I highly recommend this book with another tale of Katie Winter.

Wow what a great read. There are many twists and turns plus a deadline to get this solved in order for the team to continue. Plus the ending was totally awesome!! Can’t wait for the last book to come out. Highly recommend!!

Katie and Leblanc are under extreme pressure to solve murders taking place near a development in the wilderness. The task force has a deadline looming and they must arrest the killer by day’s end. This killer leaves his victims high up in a tree. Katie has more family drama but Leblanc is there to sooth her troubled sleep. Mic drop moment at the end of the book will shock her family!
