About the author

Crystal Savage Traylor was born in Seattle, Washington but moved to Texas shortly after. She has spent time on the west coast of Florida and in The Heart of Acadiana, in Louisiana, but East Texas has been her home for most of her life. She grew up in small town Lindale, Texas and attended college in the bigger small town of Tyler, Texas, where she lives today.

Crystal has a wonderfully supportive husband who lets her be almost as stubborn as she wishes and three children who make life an adventure. She is a planner by nature, an analyst by trade, and avid daydreamer by heart. She can never decide which hobbies she enjoys, so they fluctuate often, but writing has been a dream she’s had since childhood.

If you are someone who roots for urban fantasy fiction yet the clichés of the genre seem too preposterous, then Crystal Savage Traylor’s More Than Me Vol.2 is just the right pick for you.

The book chronicles the lives of two women, Jennifer, a big-time actress; and Jaime, a small-town florist. How are these two connected? The plot twist? Jennifer was actually Jaime earlier and Jamie is, you know, still Jamie. It’s not as complex as it might sound. Grab the book and you’ll know exactly what’s going on.

The book has some aspects of fantasy, some of magical realism and some of medical mystery and drama. It also puts forward the struggles of people going through psychological issues and can give us a tip or two on how to face them and move on without carrying the guilt that comes with it.

Rating: 4.5/5
Verdict: A beautifully written psychological thriller that will keep baffled you till the end.
