My heart and soul hurt so much for Charlotte losing her mother thanks to these 3 men. And these men didn't feel guilty (maybe like 2.5 guilty) when the car crash happened hell they used the dead woman they were with as well sex toys. Kronos was going to kill lil Charlotte but he though she was dead already.

Now fast forward years later Charlotte is living her life and accidently sees something she shouldn't have saw now shes running from the same 3 men who ruined her life when she was younger. They don't wanna killer her nope they wanna breed and make her their toy. Which is something new for them not kill.. oh there still dicks they didn't change they treat her like a toy and they know who she is.
The other drama is a creepy ex cop has been lusting after char when she was younger so he wants her back and ruining the guys business. That cliffhanger girl Charlotte run..

Now why such a high rating I kept on reading it made me wanna know wtf is going to happen to Charlotte. These men aren't redeemable right now so I'm wondering how they can.

Ok…. The premise was interesting but the story itself was completely off the wall. Spoilers ahead.

Guys randomly killing people and using their corpses for sexual gratification. Senseless and gratuitous violence - there is no rhyme or reason. They just like killing people, sexually tormenting women, and blowing shit up. They violently rape the h, tie her up/lock her down, sadistically torment her, treat her like a 3-hole cum dumpster, and yet somehow were supposed to believe they have feelings for her? I thought there might be at least something happening with them mentally or a reason for their sociopathic behavior would be revealed, but it was all destruction and aimless chaos. The final straw for me was when one of them peed down her throat and forced her to swallow. What. The. F%ck.

I get that there were trigger warnings, but if the story were at all plausible, I could handle triggers. This was just abuse for the sake of abuse with no discernible plot or logic. Why??

I give this book 1.0 - 1.5 stars and I’m ashamed of myself for even giving it that. The characters have absolutely no redeeming qualities.. I’ve never wanted a group of main characters to die by chapter 2 before. The three MMC’s rape the virgin FMC constantly, they also rape other side characters too,… alive and DEAD!! They go around on killing sprees and then get turned on by the smell of burning flesh, after already getting off at the sight of blood. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do love the psycho trope but this is ridiculous. This was rape porn, not psychos in love.
The inconsistencies in the writing were annoying too. One moment he’s painfully raping her @$$ dry and the next sentence she’s cumming from him in her vag.
The 1.0 - 1.5 star was cause I’m curious where the story will go… I’m rooting for everyone to die.

I'm gobsmacked...this is seriously twisted !!!
Its one of those books that makes you think, maybe I should stop now. Look away! I mean can it get more twisted....but I continued on reading. I was captivated by the darkness of this story. There are some heavy triggers in this book, 1 in particular that I've never come across before and it might likely turn some readers away. Which is why its important you check the trigger warnings.

I look forward to reading book 2.

It is a contemporary taboo reverse harem series, this book ends in a cliffhanger. MFMM, with some lite MM.

MMC'S- These guys are Kronos, Hypnos and Ayres - step-brothers (no relation to h), monsters, dark, and sadistic.

MFC - Charlotte - oh dear..poor kitten. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She's had a hard trot in life.

I'd recommend this book to anyone who has NO TRIGGERS, likes very dark books, horror, like dark depraved heros.

Still don't understand why this book got banned on Amazon, I have read much worse. The H's in this story are stepsiblings Kronos, Hypnos, and Ayres. But there another man who's sort of an interloper, Haydes. I'm not sure how he's going to play into the long game for this story but I am highly intrigued by Haydes and hope that he gets incorporated into the reverse harem.

Charlotte hasn't lived the best life. She and her mother suffer a horrific car crash and her photographic memory won't let her forget seeing her dying mother. Couple that with the other acts of violence she unexpectedly witnesses that same night and she's a little jaded. Spending years in foster care and then learning to navigate life on her own, she lives in a part of town that can only be called the slums. And in those conditions it's not unfathomable that she'd witness yet another murder. What she could never expect is that the second time she's an unwitting accomplice, the perpetrators are the same men. Hunted like prey she’s ultimately captured and held captive by the brothers. They aren't kind to her, they use her for their pleasure and take more than they give.

But in the end it's the mystery that has me anxiously awaiting the next story. I can't wait to read more in this series.

Debut reverse harem with all the juicy triggers a dark heart can desire. Progressive pace on the faster side, which I liked, this was a combination of mystery and suspense among antiheroes, dare I say, villains. These are the reasons for my 4 stars. Admittedly a first work, so character development and writing style are still to be honed.

First encountered in a tragic accident, years later these bad boys make her theirs -- willing or not, and I most definitely want to read book two.

The writing is horrendous. It’s very superficial with zero plot line. It’s all for shock value with no emotion or depth written into the story at all.

It’s like someone watched their first hardcore porn and scribbled a quick dream or fantasy and this is it.

BEFORE YOU START READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS. This book is not for the faint of heart. It has some twisted actions for sure.
If you are looking for a book to play with the dark and depraved part of your soul, you are in the right place. (And its okay, because I am right there with you, don't worry, I'm getting the walls repainted ;) )
Actual rating is 3.5/5 but I gave 4 stars because the story has potential. I am very excited for the next book. That being said, there was very little character development. I felt disconnected from the characters even come the end of the book, because of that I did not feel as receptive to the content as I normally am. Psychos in Love is written by a new author, so there are a few substances lacking in this book, but I will say, I am a part of her ARC team and S.J. Ransom is a very receptive author and eager to improve.
This book has a lot of intrigue and the cliffhanger leaves you dangling off an exciting edge. I feel that once we truly get down to knowing these totally psycho 'Psychos', this series will take us on a wild ride. As long as you are patient and don't have any triggers then I strongly suggest giving this book a chance!

First, Psychos in Love is the first book in the series of the same name. This is actually my very first book by S.J. Ransom. It was a very short read...HOWEVER, a whole bunch of things happened. This is a very dark Reverse Harem with a lot of triggers. PLEASE HEED THE WARNINGS!!! OMFG!!! This was absolutely incredible. It literally had me at the edge of my seat. I'm literally anticipating the next book!

Absolutely wild! When the author said dark, they absolutely meant DARK. Heed every single trigger warning in the front of the book and if you are squeamish, this might not be for you.

With that said, wow! This book is the first in the series and does end on a rather big cliffhanger. Poor, poor Charlotte. She is most definitely NOT a winner here. Ayres, Kronos and Hypnos find all of their pleasure in torturing this girl. She’s basically their pet, a poorly treated one at that.

This all starts when Charlotte is a child, really. But it comes to fruition when she sees something she shouldn’t and crosses paths with the trio of terror. They take her and that’s that.

This book is a shockingly stark portrait of what these psychos are capable of. No mercy given and morals to be found anywhere. It’s brutal from page one all the way to the end. It allows the voyeur in you come out and play knowing that, thankfully, this is a work of fiction.

I am excited and terrified to see where the author takes this series, but I know one thing for certain: I’ll be along for the ride.

I've read a lot of dark romance and bad or morally grey men have always intrigued me. However, NEVER have I ever, had such a detailed account of how incredibly violent, unethical, deviant, and depraved the male's character is until this story. Holy fking shit, these men are dangerous AF. They are the definition of psycho.

I've read about men who killed innocents, men who skinned people alive, men who degraded and detested humanity and burned down schools and nursing homes. Shit, my last read was about a freaking cannibal and NONE of those men have shit on the Power Brothers.

These men have their fingers on EVERY trigger warning imaginable. This book is NOT for the faint of heart. But if you have a strong stomach, no hang ups, and a taste for pain with your pleasure then you are in for a wild ride that I promise will have you feeling every kind of way.

I personally feel, disgusted, confused, turned on, conflicted, curious, turned on, excited, and turned on....

Rape & Torture

This was a very dark, dark, dark and disturbing book. Kronos, Ayres and Hypnos has no redeeming qualities whatsoever and her former Social Worker Haydes is trash as well because he's secretly been grooming her since childhood to be his lover; unfortunately the 3 Psychos beat him to it. Death is too good for these psychopaths. The things Charlotte endured with these sickos was disturbing. Being kidnapped and brutally raped day end and day out.

Wow...........JUST WOW!!! I literally have no words and can only hope Charlotte gets some form of revenge at least for her mother's sake.

I actually liked the book so I'm pretty sure I'm going to Hell along with Kronos, Ayres, Hypnos and Haydes punka**.

I would consider this the darkest book I have read so far.

I can't wait for the next book in the series because...
A) I NEED TO KNOW WHY THEY ARE SO UNHINGED (cause honestly they truly are psychos)
B) I NEED TO KNOW HOW TF WILL THEY BE REDEEMED... ARE THEY EVEN REDEAMBLE???!!!! I don't even know how we come back from everything that has happened so far.

If you're looking for Villains that become soft when they meet their woman... this is not it.

If anything, ‘dark’ is kinda glossed over, or is sometimes past tensed. So, 3-3.5(?).
I hope it develops more in the next book, because I really enjoyed what I read.

Fall into the world of Charlotte as she witnesses a murder, and is now the prey of three men who want her to pay just for being where she wasn't supposed to be.

Kronos, Hypnos and Ayres are men who do bad things, but you just love them. They all fall head over heels for Charlotte, and she doesn't exactly find them repulsive either. The story was entertaining, but has no mercy when it comes to the triggers. Charlotte is basically their pet, and they do not go easy with her.

This is dark, but is an absolutely brilliant book.

What the fück did I just read!? This book put me through it and I’m not exactly mad about it. This book is dark and twisty and frankly nasty af! The characters were interesting and have so much potential for growth! The Powers brothers, Aryes, Kronos & Hypnos are the definition of psycho and innocent Charlotte gets pulled into their depravity. Then there’s Haydes our mystery man. This book is very taboo and stacked heavy with triggers. It does end on a bit of a cliffhanger and I for one look forward seeing how this comes together in the next book.

Satan’s Spawns

S.J. Ransom’s first book in her ‘Dark Taboo Reverse Harem’ series certainly should put emphasis on the word Psychos in the title. I’m not sure what that says about me since I was hooked right from the start. Charlotte, the main female character, is an innocent who witnesses a horrendous murder and flees. Unfortunately, the Power Brothers, Kronos, Hypnos and Ayres, soon capture her and holds her captive in their torture basement. This story is not for those that have a weak stomach with an aversion to blood. It’s very graphic and really pulls at the heart strings. This book was so riveting that I couldn’t put it down until the very last page. There may or may not be a cliffhanger but if so, it’s worth the wait. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!

Definitely listen to the trigger warnings in this book, when the author said dark, she really meant dark. This was a fast-paced, good action and suspense first book in a series. It ends on a bit of a cliff-hanger, perhaps maybe because the book felt a bit short. Overall, it was a great read and I look forward to reading the second book when it becomes available.
