Maggie Belle #3

Unmasking the Comical Culprit

Rate this book
Unfortunately, family doesn’t always see us the way our friends do.

Maggie Belle has survived her first year in a rather crumbly old resort, revamped into a villa for seniors.

The warm-hearted amateur sleuth, with still with much life to live, has found a comfortable niche amidst the other residents, who flock to her with their problems.

Maggie is feeling content until a pair of unexpected visitors land on her doorstep.

A series of rather peculiar crimes unfold, too nonsensical to ignore. While these are too minor to tempt the police, Maggie is eager to round up the clues and figure out who the comical culprit is.

On her journey to unmask the villain, Maggie has to deal with relatable characters, intelligent cats, the unwanted romantic attentions of the chief constable himself, all while fending off the local resident bachelor.

She discovers love in more than one sense. But will she reveal the comical culprit?

Third in a fun series

Maggie is rushing to get ready for an unexpected visit from her daughter Olive. At the same time a string of what appear to be small robberies is happening inside the retirement community. Maggie dives in to try and solve the thefts with lots of twists and turns and a surprise ending. A fun read.
