Mr. Ace of Broken Hearts played me, then asked the bitch who made my life a misery to be his old lady.
It's been ten years. My father is dead. I need to go home to lay him to rest.

But not by God.
By me.

WTF! There was entirely too much going on with this book. This book is suffering an identity crisis. Jaine the lawyer, the biker, the sniper, the badass, the most coveted 🙄 There’s bikers, billionaires, bratva, Sicilians, Irish, Mexicans, and Chinese mobs sprinkled in. If you removed the word cum, the book would be about 150 pages shorter.

DNF @15%.

Maybe I'm just in a bitchy mood today, but this just doing it for me. I loved the premise: nerdy plain girl gets her heart broken by her BFF who she's been in love with for years, and turns into a kick ass beauty who plays a vigilante on the side. All that is well and good, but.. she's been apart from Ace for 10 years now (and we've yet to see his POV from this far in) and she's stringing along her boyfriend who is so in love with her, but she doesn't love him. But just made a big show of not letting anyone else have him. Honestly I feel really bad for him.

Overall I'm just not vibing with this book. The term "cum sluts" has been used in such a short amount of time, and I have no vested interest in Ace. He sounds like a douche.

Maybe I'll go back and try again one of these days, but for now it's a no for me.

Dragged on

So at the beginning it seemed so promising. Then it jumps 10 years which I don't care for that. However that is not the reason for the rating. This Author over explains everything. It makes for a boring dragged out book. I like action!

I’m not a huge reader of MC books, but Ace was fabulous. Mixed in with Irish mafia, and I was hooked.

As much as I lived both Ace and Razr, Padraig was my boy. I’m a sucker for a family orientated Irishman - must be my Irish blood.

Action packed and great pace, I think this book is a must read.

Be jealous as I’m currently proofreading book 2 in the series…

This book has a serious identity crisis… it’s either 4 books crammed into one or maybe it should have been a RH… too many MMcs and too many POV’s. There’s every trope and type of romance thrown in with the kitchen sink… well except alien… but who knows what’s to come? Note to self don’t continue this series!

 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶🌶🌶.5

MC // MAFIA // Enemies to lovers // Love triangle // Unrequited love // Multiple POV

Ace is book one of the Angels of Hellfire MC Series by Harley Diamond and can be read as a standalone. It does, however, form part of a crossover series between the Angels, Scorpions, and Dusters.

Now I must say, I am a sucker for a good MC series and this book did not disappoint! For a debut novel, I am highly impressed.

I don’t want to give anything away because I want you all to read it, but I will say that I genuinely loved everything about it.

The storyline, character development, and world building is solid! It’s action-packed and has some steamy moments too! 🔥

Jaine is one badass FMC and I loved her from the get go. That girl is seriously fierce AF!!! Ace, Razr, Padraig are all perfect in their own way too! I love them all. End of. 😮‍💨❤️‍🔥

I am so excited for the next book and cannot wait to see how this will all unfold !! That cliffhanger, I mean come on! I need answers now!

Ace is coming August 26th and I highly recommend you add it to your TBR!

This is the first book in the Angels of Hellfire series. It's also my first read of Harleys. I enjoyed it a lot.

We meet our OG MMC and FMC early on as their kids pretty much. Shit happens and they go their own ways and it haunts them for the rest of their years.

Years later we see them come back together (not romantically) for a tragic circumstance. They both are with other people and quite frankly our FMC can't decide which of the THREE men she is hanging with she has REAL feelings for.

The ending.....OKAY, all I have is that if the last book in this series Dirty Paidrig doesn't end with Irish and the sniper together with Ace I WILL RIOT!!!!!

It’s a hell of a blurb, I instantly loved the book and was just merely curious about how, when, and where things will happen. And literally speaking, my mind is blown. I have read mafia books, and biker gang books but this one here is just way apart from all of them. I’m trying to express my feelings here but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to fully describe how much I loved this book. It made me laugh, cry, and feel all the emotions a human can feel. The end is happy but it was sad for me too.

The writing is perfect and I would recommend everyone to go read it. Harley Diamond is breaking a leg in this debut novel of hers. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. The character development is phenomenal and the plot just keeps getting better and better. At every single point, I was thinking what the he** is happening?? And how are they going to cope with it? There were so many ups and downs for JAINE as she battles with her inner demons and takes the path she wants. She’s a fierce female character I have come across. She’s loyal to no end and loves like no other can. I admire her in every way I can.

There were so many characters and all of them make you feel connected to the story. ACE and PADRAIG are the other characters I kept my focus on irrespective of loving all of them. The things which went down during the entire journey had shaken me up in good ways. The story kept giving me surprises with something new to hold on to till the next thing came up. The book is loaded with spiciness and it’s still not enough for me.

Although it’s standalone the crossovers which are going to follow will be a treat to read and I’m really looking forward to knowing PADRAIG more. I loved him the most. For me, in front of him, ACE was just (I don’t know what to say exactly) but when things go southwards, I will always want him to come and win. But as everybody knows readers can’t change what writers write so I’m stuck here.

The story is mainly JAINE’s POV but we get to see other pov’s too which a reader would want to know. Whenever something’s happening in a story I always wanted to know about that particular perception from others pov and damm this book provided me just that and it was the cherry on the icing on the cake. The story leaves nothing to the imagination in terms of what the other person must be thinking. It gives you enough to treat yourself after reading this SPECTACULAR story.

Jaine and Ace have been friends since they were little kids. When Jaine moved with her father to Rising it was a fresh start for her and her dad after her mothers death. Her dad was an attorney and was representing the MC that his best friend and Ace’s dad was the president of.
Jaine was in love with Ace for as long as she could remember and when she turned 18 she made her move. Afterwards she overheard a conversation that sent her to the other side of the country with a broken heart. 10 years have passed and her father has been murdered so it’s time to return home to put him to rest. Which starts a whirlwind of emotions, memories and second chances. Also a lot can change in 10 years and the discoveries made are life changing.
This was an action packed thrill ride and I can’t wait to see where this author takes us.
As I was reading this I kept telling myself I had read this before and I was troubled because this is a debut book for this author. I got to looking and discovered that over a year ago this author had reached out to me and asked me to read her book. I agreed and told her she needed to continue with this journey and publish. I am so happy to see that her work is here and she is off to an amazing start! Congratulations on getting to this point!

THIS BOOK WRECKED ME...........

The story focuses on a Jaine and Ace..... The best friends who grew up together among the bikers of the Hellfire MC. A decision one night throws both of their lives in turmoil and changes their lives beyond for what they had both hoped. 10 years later and tragedy strikes and everything they though they forgot, is brought back into the light and neither will ever be the same again.

Oh this book.....I have not a read a MC/Mafia book that has effected me this much in a long time. All of my emotions were thrown into this story. I felt anger, love, hatred, sadness and more. I truly don't know how to feel about the ending. Was I happy, Yes but at the same time very sad. I don't know how to describe it without spoilers so know that you need this book in your life and I hope to see more of the characters that we met in this story, in future books. This truly was an amazing read and I give it 5 stars.

*****Please be aware that this book that contains themes for mature adults. If you have sensitivities to certain triggers, please read the content warnings before starting this book.

Unrealistic and OTT.
The heroine was a biker, a lawyer, an assassin, MMA fighter but she seemed stupid at every turn. She was al natural but managed to change so much in 10years that no one recognized her, not even the hero . Her father just died and she started to play games to attract the attention of the hero and his fellows but parading in thigh clothes and without bras🤮

The book is called Ace but Ace os just many characters in the book, each character having his own POV . Even the heroine 's BFFs have one🤣
There are 3 men in love with the heroine and she decides between two of them in the last 5% or so. Actually, someone else decides for her and she just take the one that's left🤣
The one that got away was my favorite character but unfortunately I read that he will end up with this stupid heroine after 5 more books and after one more live interest from her part 🤣🤣 so I'm not gonna read this series

Jaine and Ace went through such a journey.
I'm currently crying my heart dropped.

But this better not be the end of Ace's story, I need my sniper, Irish and Ace all together.

This was a crap ending for Padraig. I know this book was for Ace, but considering he had no personality, I found it very hard to really care.

I feel like I just got off of an emotional rollercoaster! I feel like the last quarter of the book my heart was slowly being torn out but I couldn’t put the book down which just turned into me ugly crying. Rarely has a MC book been able to pull out that many emotions from me.

Jaine calls herself plain when she’s a teenager. She leaves home for college and becomes stronger, independent, and more confident in herself. When she returns home ten years after leaving to bury her father, everyone notices that she’s definitely not Plain Jaine anymore. I loved Jaine and really want more of her! I loved Ace and Padraig. I liked Delaney but my heart was really routing for Ace and Padraig.

This book combines MC drama, steam, Irish Mafia, and so much more. I couldn’t put it down and am still reeling from that ending. I can’t wait for the next book from Harley Diamond because this is one of my favorite books I have read this year!

This is officially my all time favourite mc book ❤️ I've just cried my eyes out for a solid half an hour over the ending (happy or sad you will have to read to find out)

This book has you guessing along every step of the way and im still not 100% on whether some characters are trustworthy but 🤷🏼‍♀️ it's got crossovers of two mc, Irish mob, Italian mafia and Russian mafia.. i mean you literally could not fit more in. This is a big beefy book that gives you a good long story whilst wrapping it all up in one go. (Well it will be a series of standalones but this story is done).

Every single man in this book is drool worthy, I couldn't pick a favourite and I kind of wish this had been a reverse harem but it wouldn't of had the same heart wrenching moments if it was.

Our main girl is anything but the plain Jane her childhood acquaintances called her, she's an absolute savage and I wish I was more like her ❤️

Harley Diamond you have written one of the most beautiful books I've ever read and thank you so much for that! Also.. Kevin creekman on the cover?? Girl you are a woman after my own heart ❤️

Ace is book 1 in this series and also debut novel for Harley Diamond. This has a little bit of everything you can want in a MC and mafia romance. Jaine “PJ” has been friends with Jason “Ace” since they were kids, they are each other first love. Then on her 18th birthday she gives herself to him and then she feels betray by him. And then she leaves to follow in her father footstep but not in Rising. But while in college she falls for Padrig, son of the Irish mob. But things don’t work out for them, but they remain the best of friends.
Now 10 years later she has made a name for herself in NYC as lawyer and she is the girlfriend of Paul “Razr” president of the Scorpions MC. But she has side job as the Exterminator who wipes darkness of the dark from the world. But when tragedy happens back in Rising forces PJ back home and back to Ace who is now president of Angels MC. She will be faced to choose between both her loves. Their journey is incredible, but it will have many ups and downs. But they will find their happiness in the end.

Janine is strong fierce and independent. She grew up in MC lifestyle she is a skilled fighter and rides a hog bonus a hell of a shot. When she gives herself to her best friend on her eighteenth birthday, who she loved for the longest, he betrays her in the worse way. Now she is a lawyer on top of all her other talents and involved with Delaney Prez of a MC. She is headed home when her father is killed, a place she has not been to since she left after Jace broke her heart at eighteen. Book one is so good. My first by Harley Diamond can’t wait for more.

I received this copy and my honest review is voluntary

Wow what a whirlwind! Jaine returns home after her father’s death and while she wants to seek revenge, she must also address her past, present, and future. Growing up, she has always loved Ace but a misunderstanding and tears them apart, which had led Jaine to leave home for New York where she attended university. Now back, they must address the elephant in the room while also facing threats from the Russian mafia. Jaine also has to reconcile with an ex from college who had also turned into a close confidante. In the mix is Jaine’s current boyfriend who she knows she doesn’t love.

I thought Jaine was a kick ass character as she is tough as nails and a just vigilante. She is admirable in the sense that she has fought hard for where she wanted to be and shows she empathetic towards others. Ace is definitely a brooding character, Padraig is a light hearted fellow, and Razr is a fierce protector. Each aren’t perfect and note this is not a reverse harem so this quadruple can get complicated.

Overall, this was a heart wrenching and heart pounding read and I look forward to the rest of this series.

Absolutely love this author and this series of books.. Violent, angsty, smouldering, yes, but the fundamental story and depth of character description hooked me into the lives of Ace, Jaine, Padraig and Razr. Have finished Ace's, Cill's, Razr's and Dyl's stories...
Desperate for the release of Eoin, to understand and feel his POV, then Paddy/Irish's finale...
Still so much story to tell. I'm buckled up and ready to book time off work to binge-read... Can almost guarantee I'll cry throughout Paddy's book, because I won't want this series to end 😢❤️

My favourite online book series so far... ❤️👏

Some people take a breakup as a way to better themselves. That's exactly what Jaine did. 10 years pass since Jaine and Ace see each other. All those feelings, all those emotions coming rolling in. Tragedy happens and secrets are told/revealed. Janie felt betrayed by her one true love. There's a conflict and Jaine must decide between Razr or Ace.

I am beyond impressed with this debut novel. I am thinking I have a new favorite author. I absolutely love that the author didn't split this into a duet or trilogy as so many do these days but instead did this justice as one nicely fat book. This is not your typical MC read as it encompasses two MC's and the Irish mob. The heroine is both relatable and a BA in her own right. Their are three love interests in a sense and I am still torn on how it ends. Along with these characters, so many fantastic side characters I hope we get books for in the future. Speaking of, I am so excited to read more in this world.

Well then. This was an...interesting book. I was promised a dark romance. Wasn't really a dark romance. I was promised an MC romance. Could have taken all the motorcycles out of the story and changed them to a horse ranch or a vampire club or something and nothing would have changed. I was promised romance. I got a love triangle. No, it had FOUR people. A love cube. And with the love cube we had four different perspectives. I get that. What I didn't get was that we had a bazillion more from random people who I guess are characters coming down the pipe in later books? I dunno, but holy cow were there are a lot of perspectives. I still have my neck brace on the whiplash I got from going back and forth between all of them. Hah.

Were there good things? Sure. We had some pretty spicy scenes and a fantastic m/m/f scene. Just don't expect things to stay monogamous for the female lead. And don't expect her to make up her mind very quickly. I think if you go into the book knowing these things up front, you'll have a much more enjoyable experience. The author just attempted to make an...epic romance series? lol Like an epic fantasy series but with erections. The book just needed to be about four hundred more pages, and we're be all set. lol All the characters. All the set up. I felt like the series took precedent over the story and romance. The thing that's stopping me from continuing on is that this is one of two books out (as I write this). I don't mind that at all. However, I tried to get more information about this stuff, and the author has just kind of ghosted everything social media and web presence-wise. That makes me nervous. I don't want to invest time and emotional energy into something that might never happen. But we'll see. I'm sure Amazon will gently remind me when more books come out. Hahaha.

Jason Steele, Ace, Prez of the Angels of Hellfire in Rising, CA.

Jaine Jones, from CA to Connecticut. Best friends with Ace until she runs off to Yale, never looking back for ten years.

Padraig O'Connell, ex to Jaine during Yale and honestly my favorite character whom I will root for until his book comes along in the series. Not thrilled with the choices made that left his heart in ruin.

From best friends with unrequited love and lies to ten years apart. Feelings of inadequacy and lost trust. Seeking redemption and second chances has these three coming together yet apart again. A bit of whip lash with them three and her feelings. However, I did thoroughly enjoy the chapters that gave a multitude of POV character. I think in it it expanded on the depth for each character. But on that note, Ace was given the least amount out of the trio when the book is named after him.

Ace is not only the first in the angels of Hellfire series, but the first in the crossover series that go in between the Angel MC series, the Scorpion MC series, and the Hudson Duster series.

For the crossover to be complete:
(1) Ace, Angels Hellfire, book 1
(2) Dirty Cillian, Hudson Dusters, book 1
(3) Razr, Iron Scorpion, book 1
(4) Dirty Dylan, Hudson Dusters, book 2
(5) Dirty Eoin, Hudson Dusters, book 3
(6) Dirty Padraig, Hudson Dusters, book 4

With so many characters given POVs, you become invested with each one and I am willingly following the author down the rabbit hole until it ends with book six, Padraig. Hoping he gets his answers 😢💔

The book is called Ace but he did not stand out as the MMC to me. He is just one of many lead males and this is not a RH. There is entirely too much going on & too many characters. This took away from the actual character building and connection between the reader & the characters. There are several villains in different capacities throughout the book. You’ve got your slutty girl that is suppose to serve as OWD. You’ve got the betrayed by “brother” character and then there’s the traffickers. I’m probably missing somebody. There are a couple MC clubs but there’s more mob than MC, including Russians, Chinese and Irish. I did not feel an actual connection between the ppl that ended up together and felt the MFC was flaky even though the the author tries to convince the reader that she’s this tough as nails assassin. Lawyer, biker, assassin, martial artist, this girl does it all. I also think she has ADD. She was like “squirrel” and she’d get distracted and begin to focus/want something different. In the end, I didn’t feel there was this epic love between the two that ended up together. The MFC gave the impression she could have gone whichever the wind blew and the guy she ended up w/ just gave the impression that he didn’t have a lot going on in his head. A genius he is not but he’s got muscles though. 🙄 I know, I know……this review is all over the place, kinda like the book. Needless to say, this one fell flat for me. I finally skimmed quite a bit of the last few chapters. I was just ready to be done.

This just wasn't for me. Too many things going on. The heroine should have been named Sue as in "Mary Sue" instead of Plain Jaine. It's like everything I hate about an RH with none of the things I like. Everybody's heart gets broken by plain jaine. The fact that she ends up with one guy in this book who later on gets killed so she ends up with the other one 5 books later...what a waste! Also the pregnancy thrown in was weird. Idk, I think I just bit off more than I can chew with this series. I knew they weren't standalones, but I was hoping at least all the characters would get somebody. I just don't understand now the exterminator can be threatened like she was other than to drive the story. I definitely think I'm just the wrong person for this series. There didn't seem to be any love or connection, or maybe too much love and connection? Forcing a threesomes with both guys she was in love with was the most godawful idea and the whole thing was awkward AF! I'll probably skip this author from now on as it's just not my cup of tea.

This was just really, really messy. “Cum” is used 78 times in this book. “C*m sluts” is used one billion times. FMC is a plain Jane turned femme fatale, but it’s just … a lot. I don’t even know. May update this review after I wrap my head around what I just read a bit more.

ETA: My brain still hurts. Basically, FMC hates “c*m sluts” because her male BFF/crush is always balls deep in one. FMC has her heart broken, turns into a mafia/MC lawyer but also is a hit woman. Mafia appearances brought to you by the Italians, Irish, & Russians. Maybe more. My brain was full after those 3 showed up. We also have motorcycle clubs represented from both coasts. Okay, now everyone is having the sex, people die, misunderstandings happen… and it ends.

HOLY MOTHER OF BOOK LOVERS

I LOVED THIS BOOK! Jason/Ace and Jaine/PJ are childhood friends who stay best friends until Ace goes and screws everything up. He keeps hurting PJ which takes it's toll on their friendship. Then while away at school she meets Padraig/Irish and he becomes someone very special to her, but she doesn't realize how special their relationship has grown. The fun back and forth banter between Jaine and Irish had me cracking up. I love a book with a strong female character and Jaine is a total bada**. She does MMA training not to mention she an excellent shot with a gun. I mean sniper excellent. This book is full of excitement and the suspense is so intense. At times I was crying my eyes out. The angst was at times almost too much to bare. The sex is aplenty and set your crotch on fire smokin hot. I do have to say though, I was disappointed for the way the ending turned out and I definitely don't agree with the decisions Jaine makes about Irish. That was just heartbreaking. And then to keep her little secret from him just infuriated me. I'm torn on my feelings with Jaine and Ace and Jaine's relationship with Delaney kinda disappointed me too. It seems like she was just stringing all three of them along at one point or another. It was nerve wracking. But I still really loved this book and I highly recommend this book to everyone.
