While I enjoyed the majority of the stories from the original series, I found this anthology dreadfully boring because it was just pure smut. Now, I love smut especially monster smut but to read back to back to back stories of nothing but the sex toys each couple got and the kinky things they did to each other got a bit boring after while. I even tried to put time in between each story but I’ve been trying to read this for 2 weeks now and I’m just not feeling it anymore.

I just picked this up to hopefully finish it and discovered there is a bonus novella after we revisit with all the couples and I was excited until I started reading it. While this series is all inclusive when it comes to the couplings and one of my favorites was actually book 3, a MF romance featuring Rum and Penny, this new novella’s MF pairing just did not do it for me. My favorite part is always the unique anatomies but I’m so bored I don’t even care to keep reading to find out what they are. I dont know if it’s because I read something of this author’s recently but this whole anthology feels like I’ve read it before and not just because of the familiar couples. I think it may be this author’s writing style itself but either way I find this terribly disappointing because I had been looking forward to it for months. It’s fitting though because the majority of my most anticipated reads of 2022 have been incredibly disappointing so what’s one more? Thankfully this year is almost over and hopefully 2023 will bring me better reads or at least lowered expectations.

I’m not rating this because I feel like this is a me thing and not the book.

When I first read the creature cafe series, I fell in love extremely quickly. I fell in love with each and every couple, and was SO sad when it was over...

BUT THEN CLIO DECIDED TO GIFT US WITH THIS CHRISTMAS ANTHOLOGY WHERE WE GET TO REVISIT ALL OF OUR COUPLES 5 YEARS LATER.... And it did NOT disappoint in the slightest!!!

SO LET'S TAKE A MINUTE TO THANK OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, OUR GODDESS, CLIO EVANS FOR PROVIDING US WITH THE BEST GIFT THIS YEAR.

Each novella was spicy and FULL of the holiday spirit... and there's nothing that screams holiday spirit more than reading about your favorite monster/human couples getting hot and spicy on Christmas Eve 😘

I really took my time reading through this anthology because I did NOT want to let my favorite monster series go for the second time... so I savored every delicious second.

IF YOU'VE READ ALL THE CREATURE CAFE BOOKS, YOU NEED TO RUN AND GO READ THIS CHRISTMAS ANTHOLOGY ASAP. BUT BE WARNED: This a one-hand kind of read, if you know what I mean 😉

Review : Loved this Christmas story in the world of creature Cafe we got to see where the couples are 5 years later and of course all kinds of spicy sexy fun with each couple we even get to see rum as Santa which was hilarious 😂. Oh and there was a bonus part with a new couple the Barista put together.

Of all the stories my favorites were the Baristas story and cam, Gabe and Seth story .

Lucas and Sam

Lucas is a basilisk prince and Sam is a human girl they end up on a date and get snowed in and they end up mating on the first night . And then Lucas brother tries to kill Sam but Lucas spares him and Lucas breeds Sam.
I loved this series .

Great Christmas anthology with the couples from the creature cafe series set 5 years in the future. Also included a new novella with a new couple - a basilisk prince who is a friend of Naomi.

This epilogue-style final book in the first Creature Cafe series gives us some good closure to the series overall! We revisit each couple - usually in some kind of spicy good way - and see where everyone is now that Lucy isn't stirring up shit anymore. I definitely enjoyed the stories from the couples whose books I rated higher throughout the series, but even the ones I enjoyed a little less were okay.

I do, however, want to know more about this mysterious babysitter they paid so well for the holiday childcare....

We’re brought back to the world of Creature Cafe to visit with our dear friends one more time, getting a glimpse into the lives of each couple as they get a little naughty, in the best way possible, for the holidays 😈 plus a bonus CC novella at the end featuring a new couple to join the endless list of happy couples brought together by the Barista. Perfection.

Sometimes I forget how much I miss these characters, or that Clio really did something magical in this series by making us fall in love with all these creatures and humans in such short but sweet stories. But this anthology is the perfect gift for all of us.

I have missed these creatures, so I was over the moon when I found out Clio was writing a Christmas anthology with all her creatures from the creature café series!

Little Kiss of Snow, is 11 short stories featuring ALL the couples / throuples from the Creature Café series. I enjoyed catching up with the creature/human couples for not only a "where are they now" but for the spicy times too! These creatures are definitely spicy!

I loved each short story and I recommend this for all the monster/creature lovers out there! I would recommend you read the Creature Café series first, it will make it all the more enjoyable, BUT it is not necessary.

This anthology with perfectly named stories was perfect to revisit Creature Cafe and those characters I missed.
The stories take place at a Christmas Eve 5 years after the events of the series, all characters are already living there happily ever after. Which means the smut is the plot and I’m here for it.
That’s basically what this book is about: what k1nky thing each couple and throuple decided to do to celebrate the holidays away from the kids and the pets. Absolutely delicious.
At the end, they all get together to celebrate Christmas and make the reader feel all warm inside (ps. 5 yo Inferna’s cameo made laugh out loud).
And then there’s a completely new new year’s novella, Little Drink of Venom. It was good to see grumpy Barista back at the freezer matching a new couple. And sis, what a couple it was. This novella was the same beloved brand of deliciousness as the rest of the Baristaverse, I love it and I need more of this characters.
A true Christmas gift from Clio to her readers. 🖤

This was PERFECT! I love the Creature Cafe series SO much and it was absolutely incredible revisiting my favorite couples again 5 years later and seeing how much they have all grown and come together. This anthology was everything I could have hoped for and so much more! We got Christmas goodness, schmexy times, and my favorite characters all together…nothing better than that! I’ll always love these characters, Clio Evans has created a series and characters that will stick with me forever. And with that, she added a new couple to the mix that will join the others as my absolute favorites!

Fun and enjoyable collection of smutty Christmas scenes from the Creature Cafe series. I did skip some of the stories because I either didn’t like the original novellas (Dante/Peter’s and Melody/Dalus/Icarus’s) or don’t like pregnancy being listed in the content warnings (Quinn/Luna/Al’s and the new one for Lucas/Sam’s). My favorite was Rum and Penny’s! Worth the read if you want to check back in with the characters or just need something quick and dirty to read.

Christmas vibes, smut, and monsters. What more could you ask for? It’s the perfect combination! But seriously, I had so much fun jumping back into the Creature Cafe world and reading about all my favorite characters! It was such a treat seeing what each couple got up to on Christmas Eve! And when everyone is together on Christmas Day 🥹 it truly was a beautiful moment!

The spice DEFINITELY delivered, as usual, and I loved all the naughtiness 😈. Who knew milk and cookies could be so naughty 😏. Each story was just as hot as the last 😮‍💨.

The New Year’s Eve story was AMAZING!! I loved everything about it!! I still think about it 😮‍💨.

Oh holy hotness. Deck the halls with boughs of horniness. It was so great to revisit the café creature couples. Get a little update on their lives, kiddos etc and rekindle the magic in the spirit of the holidays in these shorts. And as if there was any doubt Clio does not hold back on the spice. 5/5 would read again, recommend and already preordered a special edition!

This was my absolute favourite book I read over the Christmas season. The Creature Cafe series just feels like coming home. It’s so comforting for me and has become one of my top favourite series. I loved catching up with all of my favourites in this anthology. This was SPICYY and I was here for all of it. There were a couple “am I into this?” moments and surprise surprise, I am😂 The new novella at the end also had me cheesing so hard and I’m obsessed with them

Clio did it again! I only have positive things to say! I am so happy to revisit the Creature Café universe and see where everyone is at 5 years later! This smut filled anthology was just everything I needed and more!!! And we even got a new pairing with new characters and I love them so much!!! If you’ve read the Creature Café series and loved it, you are going to absolutely devour this Christmas anthology!!

I LOVED THIS SO DAMN MUCH!!! An entire book of chapter after chapter seeing our favorite series characters act out their various kinks 5 years later??? YES, PLEASE!! It was chapter after chapter of toe curling smut with all the kinks you can imagine played out. Smut lovers dream honestly. There is literally no plot, other than the loose one that all the creatures are getting together to celebrate Christmas, their kids are with a babysitter, and all the couples have one night to enjoy being with their fated mate/mates. We also get a small glimpse into what the future brought for these characters and who has kids, and who is still living that mated life without them. But other than those small details - it's all just sex! My personal favorite is Jasper & Alex. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed every damn sexcapade, but I'm just saying, something about those two just hit me right while reading!! Even if you haven't read the entire series prior to reading this anthology, you could probably read this one. A lot of the references to relationships between characters wouldn't make sense, but who needs that to make sense when the rest of the book is chalk full of spicy awesomeness?! Even if you haven't read the series (you honestly should, such a good series!), I would recommend reading this to fill up your smut quota for the year. ;)

There is one more creature match up story at the end of the anthology about a Basilisk prince looking for a mate that the Barista matches as a favor to Naomi, but it wasn't my favorite. I thought the MMC was kind of a douche canoe and the whole thing felt kind of thrown together. The spice was spicing, per usual from this author. But the other details that the author usually includes weren't present in this one. The other books in this series also ties up all lose ends by the completion of the book and this one most certainly did not. The conflict in the story felt forced and I was left with a lot of questions by the end as well. And given that the next installment in this series takes 25 years later, I don't think that we're going to get those answers. Maybe we'll see the Basilisk prince again ... but I doubt it. I just don't know why this part of the book even needed to be added. Could have left the end to be after the original characters had their Christmas party.

So ... definitely read this. But maybe not the last chunk of the story with the Basilisk prince being matched up by the Barista. You're not missing anything if you don't read it and you can just go right to the next installment of the Creature Cafe - #12.

This was everything I wanted it to be and more. Revisiting all the couples from The Creature Cafe series during Christmas Eve night was like visiting best friends. It felt fun, light hearted, warm, like coming home, and of course it felt naughty because good lord these couples have kinks on top of kinks. I loved and adored all of these shorts. There wasn’t a single one I didn’t drool over. And the bonus story at the end? 🥵🥵🥵🥵 Dayum. Lucas and Sam were something else.

This was one hella fucking hot anthology damn! It's likerally just smut with characters from Clio Evan's Creatures Cafe series. Each couple gets their own short steamy Christmas story, and it's 🥵 I'll share my thoughts and rating for each individual story down below with all the kinks and TWs listed by the author. My thoughts quite vary from story to story, obviously — I liked some more than the other and some I didn't like at all, unfortunately. Without further ado, let's get into it.

Jingle Balls (Peter and Dante): 4/5
— kinks: piercings, bondage, degradation, complete submission, spanking, ball gags, cock cages, tail fucking and more
— i think Dante forgets Peter is a human because putting weight on frieshly pierced nipples sounds like a disaster about to happen... you do not put weights on fresh piercings! Like, did he want those poor nipples to fall off??
— and then it's all followed by a handjob on a freshly pierced penis???? Why Dante?! That was so reckless and dangerous. I was cringing the whole time while reading this

— this is kind of a weak 5 because I felt like something was missing the whole time, they're book was packed with everything but the short story was kinda weak

It's been five years since the events of the last book took place and all of the couples are living in happily ever after bliss. Each story follows a different couple and their spicy Christmas Eve plans.

I don't have much to say except that I simply adored this anthology. I loved getting to revisit all of the couples and to see where they're at. This is 99% smut and that's everything I wanted from this anthology. I really enjoyed the bonus novella. The breeding was superb and I'd love to revisit that couple again.

I forever love Rum and Penny. They're in my top three favorite couples from this series. This wasn't as spicy as I would've liked, but I still loved it. Rum loves Penny so much.

I didn't care for this one at all. I'm not here to yuck anyone's yum, but I just couldn't connect with the extreme pain play Meduso inflicted. I like some pain, but being gut-punched just isn't for me. This is my least favorite couple in the series and my least favorite story in the anthology.

This anthology is a MUST READ for all Creature Cafe fans. It provides short stories about every couple and a new story featuring a new couple. There is so much spice in this book it will leave you with an ulcer. I loved everything about this.

Holy fking shit! Clio didn't ease us in did she?! I forgot how much of a submissive freak Peter is.

Medium spice. I wasn't a huge fan of Kat. However, I do love both her and Dragon's interactions with Dell separately and together. However now that I've started the Warts & Claws series, this was a good refresher as there is a bit of cross over and I couldn't remember how a certain creature was related.

Rum the Red Assed Minotaur (Rum & Penny)
These two are fantastic. I love how this big dominant minotaur bows down to our girl andturns into a submissive at the snap of her fingers. The gifts were so sweet and romantic. I love them. This was HOT.

You're a Mean One, Mr. Meduso (Noah & Meduso)
OMFG I died! These two are dark AF. Their brand of play is NOT for the weak. All chapters have trigger warnings. Read that shit.
With that said. I loved Meduso from the jump. Their original story was very memorable and this one will be too!

O Horny Night (Al, Luna, & Quinn)
I remember when I read their first book, I thought it felt rushed. I felt like we didn't see a strong emotional development and lacked FF scenes.
Welp, this one made up for all of that. All the spice was nice. The primal play and Al's double peens was a joy. The aftercare and just the overall LOVE. I was there for it. Also, I loved the introduction of daddy.

Jingle Bell Rock (Melody, Icarus, & Dalus)
First things first, how awesome for Dalus and his music! Next, Meldoy's gift has to be my absolute favorite so far. I want one!
I forgot how freaking alpha Icarus is. He is just so YUM. I love his DGAF attitude. We get the spice in both human and shifted form. I was not disappointed with this one.

Princess, It's Cold Outside (Naomi & Ella)
I really like Naomi and I'm glad that she makes Ella feel loved. But I don't get butterflies with these two. I am however fascinated with Naomi's biology and her royal connections. I've very curious if they will make an appearance in any current of future series.

This one was so satisfying. It was playful but hot. It was heartwarming to see how much Gabe has grown and opened up. Not just with his mates, but his dad aka Lucifer.
I really enjoyed these three.

Excuse me while I fan girl scream. I love Lucifer being submissive. Trixie is one lucky bitch. This was very satisfying. I'll never be able to look at milk and cookies the same way again.

Little Sip of Venom (Lucas & Sam)
This was a full-blown new book within the anthology. What a freaking treat. Lucas is a Basilisk snap Prince with a thing for red hair. He's an alpha-hole set to be king and is seeking to introduce change in his community.

Sam is a chubby red head with stretch marks and freckles. She is everything Lucas has ever dreamed of and she's a bit of a brat. These two kicks of a lust filled date that ends in very unique breeding. Like seriously, I've never read that shit and now I'm curious and aggressively googling ovipositor dildos LMBO

This story was hot and had a bit of action. It left a lot of easter eggs for possible future stories. I love that a second royal has been introduced. Clio PLEASE tell me that there is another series in the works!!

SCREAMING. CRYING. SO HAPPY!!!

I love Clio Evans and the Creature Cafe Series as we all know but hands down this is my favorite one out of all of them.

Why you might ask is this my favorite one?

To simply put it, this one is set 5 years in the future and we get to see EVERY. SINGLE. COUPLE. IN. ONE. BOOK!!

We get to see how their lives have changed over time and who has kids and what they have been up to. It was so refreshing getting to be part of their story once more and to feel every couple has for each other and for their family whether it’s their kids or the whole creature cafe family.

The Barista created this rag tag family of monsters and humans while also having this story set during Christmas time is absolutely wonderful!

I loved that Alex and Jasper adopted orc children to add to their little family. How much Meduso loves Noah yet he’s still the same man he was when they met, just slightly different and happier with his mate. I also loved how each couple with kids talks about them. You can feel the immense love they have for them and for themselves. These couples all went though a lot during the series and it made me happy to see how they have changed and how their bond had solidified over the years.

And we most certainly cannot forget the ever delicious HOLIDAY SMUT with each couple. They all got up to their own shenanigans and boy was it a fun ride each and every time. The intimate and emotional connections they have with their mate(s) and how much it has changed but still the same was something I really enjoyed. These couples/series has a special place in my heart and I will never not shut up about it.

WE GOT TO SEE THE BARISTA MAKE ONE MORE MONSTER/HUMAN MATCH! I absolutely LOVED that bit at the end of the book. We all know the Barista is superior and has the best match making skills like no other. Reading about Lucas and Same definitely has me hoping for more books in this series for my own selfish reasons.

I’m not always good with putting my emotions into words, so I hope all of this makes sense and can tell how much I loved this book.

It's that time of the year again and Clio has delivered in full. This anthology gave more than just enough insight into what the lives of the monsters and their mates have been up to 5 years after the Creature Cafe Series ended. It was so good to revisit all the characters, as well as getting a new, very spicy couple for New Years, Luca  and Sam, you'll just have to read the antho. to meet.

Even if each one was short, they all had more k¡nks, new ones as well, than I ever thought couldn't possible fit into 2 -3 chapter stories. Clio you certainly outdid yourself with this anthology!
