I was so excited to see another book in the “Until Series” by Aurora Rose Reynolds. This is a second generation Mayson (son of Nico). Talon is all sorts of protective and loving from the very beginning when he shields Mia from a tornado. These Mayson men are oozing possessiveness and protectiveness and Talon is no exception. He finds his BOOM (insta love) with Mia and they are adorable together.
If you are looking for a sweet small town romance I highly recommend this one but start with the beginning of the series.

I have never been a huge fan of insta-love, but there are a few authors I gladly make an exception for, and Aurora Rose Reynolds is definitely one of those. I have been a fangirl ever since I first read "Until November" . So.. of course I have read and enjoyed every single book in all the "Until" series ;) including this one, which is Talon's BOOM.
From the very first page, I knew I was gonna like both Talon and Mia's characters. She was funny and could hold her own and he was all kinds of sweet and protective... She didn't give it up in a heartbeat, but it was definitely not a slow burn... And Talon was sold the moment he felt the BOOM.
I have to be honest though.. as much as I enjoyed Talon and Mia's story, I was also very much intrigued with Cece (Mia's sister) and Winston. I would love to read their story as well. And Bax, Talon's brother... he was all sorts of awesome, so sign me up for his story as well ;)
All and all, another great addition to the "Until series" and I will keep reading them, so long as Aurora keeps writing them. There is still plenty of offspring left I think :P

I will never get tired of the Boom! Talon gave me all the feels with his protectiveness and I loved reading about him trying to get Mia to give him a chance. Which also made me love Mia just as much since she didn't give in to him easily. She made him work for it and it made for a super interesting and fun story to read.
This book was captivating from the start and it was so easy to get sucked into Talon and Mia's story. Talon was amazing and even though he was definitely Alpha he wasn't pushy at all and instead he moved at Mia's pace. I loved seeing the slower pace of their relationship and seeing how they moved forward when things did start getting more serious. It had me rooting for them the entire time I was reading and I was so happy with how they ended up.
Overall, this book is definitely a recommended read and I do think it can be read as a standalone if you wanted to. There are obviously past characters mentioned but nothing spoiling their stories and it doesn't get confusing if you don't know these characters already.

this book was supposed to be Talon & Mia's book sadly they were not interesting at all..like watching paint dry..but..BUT side "romance" about the heroine sister and her love interest & drama after her divorce saved this book or actually stole the show here... I wish that was the main story!
It seems like I enjoy more Until Her than Until Him books in this series!

Until Talon is the ninth book in the Until Her/Him Series. Aurora Rose Reynolds created "the Boom" back in 2013 when she published Until November. She has created a world with strong alpha men and spunky heroines to be their counterparts. In 2021, the Mayson family is still going strong, and I will honestly never get enough! Mia Allenton has settled in a new town to help her sister, going through a divorce. Mia has always put everyone else before herself, and when a traumatic event brings Talon Mayson into her life, everything changes. Talon knows that Mia is the woman for him, and even if she doesn't see it yet, he will do everything in his power to make her his! After all, there is nothing more powerful than "the boom"!
Overall, Until Talon is an absolute must read for the Until Fans! Aurora Rose Reynolds never fails to craft a story with complex characters, an intricate plot, and a powerhouse ensemble. I will never tire of this family and the shenanigans they partake in!

OMG, this book was pure perfection! I have hearts in my eyes and a huge smile on my face. But I didn't expect anything else from my unquestioned queen of happily ever alpha romance Aurora Rose Reynolds. After so much time, she still manages to surprise me in the best way. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that Until Talon starts with a huge Bam und unfolds into a beautiful and captivating love story with all the things we came to admire about this bestselling series like insta love, an endearing heroine and a swoon-worthy ott alpha hero. I love that in ARR books there's no unnecessary drama and a HEA is always guaranteed. My romance loving heart feels safe in this author's hands. That's why her stories are the ones I like to come back to every single time.

I think this is one of this authors bests books to date. I really enjoyed it!
The heroine was a great character. I love that she moved to help her sister out with her kids. I like that she was down to earth and just a good person. Her supposed character flaw didn't bother me all. Usually I don't like guarded heroines but the way the author had Talen handle this was perfect and really kept me, as a reader, from being frustrated by her reluctance.
Talen was pretty much awesome in my eyes. I like that he recognized Mia as special to him from the start, and I especially liked how he was patient with her. If you know me, I love a strong alpha who goes after what he wants. I also love an alpha that can finesse a situation like Mia's reluctance without being wimpy. He didn't push her too hard but you knew he also wouldn't give up. It's the perfect balance really.
As soon as I finished this book, I just wanted more. That made this a very successful book for me as a reader.

4.5 Mia and Talon Stars
I am so invested in this series, Until November is one of my most re read favourite books and I eagerly await every book in the series. Aurora Rose Reynolds has created a world I would love to live in. Gorgeous , protective guys and strong women with close knit family ties and all the connections and dynamics between them. There's passion , humour and fun with a good dose of drama. Reading one of the books in this series is like meeting up with a really good friend you haven't seen in a while and it's as if no time has passed.
Enough of my rambling...let's get to the book. Talon is Nico and Sophie's son (Until Nico) and his siblings are Willow, Harmony , Bax , Nalia and Sage. I need to have
a little family tree on hand for the Mayson clan. Anyway , Talon crosses paths with Mia who has moved from Montana to Tennessee to help her sister who is going through a painful marriage break up. The much talked about 'Boom' happens and our Hero is soon smitten with Mia. In true ARR style there is drama about to unfold although I would say this one was less dramatic than some of the others. The secondary characters are fab and I really loved Cece , Mia's sister and also their parents.
This book left me beaming and feeling like I'd been immersed in romance and passion in Small Town America where the good guys always win. I really needed a book like this and Aurora Rose Reynolds always delivers.
He dips his chin, and his lips touch mine ever so softly. The sigh that escapes is out of my control. It feels like I’ve been waiting my entire life for the moment he would kiss me.
You could read this as a standalone but you would get more out of the book if you read the other novels in the series.

I saw that Until Cece by K.D. Robichaux has released and I decided to listen to Until Talon on audio before reading the story about Cece and Winston. The whole Until Series is like one big literary comfort blanket to me. Also, now that we have the Happily Ever Alpha World I am in Boom heaven. Aurora Rose Reynolds is , without a doubt , one of my favourite authors and anytime spent with the Mayson clan is time well spent. I think I enjoyed Mia and Talon even more on audio - great narration by Laura Jennings and Sebastian Grove.

When Mia's sister needs her, Mia drops everything to be with her sister and nieces. A new town and new job, she's all in helping her sister cope with the consequences of her husband cheating and their marriage ending. What she has no room for is a man, but when she meets Talon Mayson, she soon learns he is all about being there for her, rather than letting her down as others have.
I really liked the bond between Mia, her sister and nieces. Talon and Mia have some good moments of heat, and are very likeable. There was just something that stopped be from completely sinking into the romance unfolding. That boom was missing for me.
One thing that didn't work for me was the author's shaping of Cece's cheating husband and the scenes involving him (directly and indirectly), there were moments where he was a real ass and I wanted a scene (not involving the kids) where he was truly called out on it all. Even now it has me frowning.
The plot when it comes to who was doing all the damage etc and why was a little OTT, but the type of OTT that amuses due to its ridiculousness rather than annoys.
This made for a nice one time read on a night where sleep was beyond reach.

When something works, I just go with the flow and enjoy the ride. That’s exactly how I feel about this series of books. ARR could write the Until series forever and I’d one-click every single one! I loved loved loved Until Talon!!!
Here’s what I loved:
From the harrowing first meeting to the electric first kiss, I was in love with this couple.
This author writes her male leads in way that you instantly want to be loved by them. Aside from their bossy and annoying behavior (which I find to be quite endearing) they love hard and do whatever it takes to care for their significant other. Talon is no different. He’s relentless in his pursuit of Mia, while remaining sweet and completely lovable.
The secondary characters play a major role here. I think we see or hear from the whole crew in this book.
Cute kids are my jam, but when you add lazy dogs and cute kittens, I’m a goner!!
I really 3njoyed how well we get to know to Mia’s family in this book. And her backstory completely pulled at my heartstrings, as well as her sister’s story. I can’t wait for that book. Talk about a great lead in!! Woot woot!
Overall, this was a sexy, fun, read that definitely hit the spot! Talon and Mia’s story was everything you expect from this amazing author — emotional, exciting, and sexy!

Yet another great book by ARR. I’m a huge fan of this author and for good reason. Until Talon is a heartwarming and swoony read. I will never get tired of this amazing series! I’ve enjoyed every one of these stories immensely. Overall rating : a solid 4 stars !

5 ' I Love Your Crazy' Stars
BOOM PERFECTION!!! Until Talon is the PERFECT escape to dive in too. One the sweetest and sexiest books I've read and a TOP heart warming MUST READ of 2020! Pure Alpha love and care!
I can never, EVER have enough of the Mayson clan, so I soaked up every second of this book.
Though Mia and Talon instantly connect and their attraction is palpable, I like the slow burn build up in their story, it just made them more unique for me.
He’s ruined me for anyone else with his honesty, sweetness, and affection.
“Marry me.”
Laughing, she rests her palms against my chest, and I know she thinks I’m joking, but I’d marry her tomorrow if she said yes.
That slow paced seduction and courtship allowed us to connect more with the characters - the past, and the new ones - and just strengthened Talon's incredibly patient, caring and overall swoon worthy personality. With my fav ARR Alpha for a father, and one of the sweetest heroines, Sophie for a mother, he could only turn up the stand up, dreamy guy that he is.
“Even if she doesn’t believe, you need to tell her, and then you need to keep telling her over and over until it sinks in.” He pats my shoulder.
Nico's advise (quote above) is just SO him, and omg, Talon listened to it and added it all to his already irresistible approach. Mia stood no chance agains this epitome of Mayson charm!
Mia was an equally amazing character. Her relationship with her sister and her nieces, her sweet and caring nature, it just shone through, and made Talon fall even harder - or should I say give in to the BOOM ever more - not that it was needed because from that very first eye contact, he knew she was his one, his Boom and was ALL in! With her background he had his work cut out for him, but he was ready to tear down all her walls and resistance. Considering his attentive and loving actions, coupled with his extremely HOT looks (just check out this cover, it's one of the most drool worthy EVER!) Talon was the whole package, and what a package! Not only was he smoking hot, but he was just as hot in his sexy time. Both so passionate and loving, they were the perfect pairing, and now of my fav Aurora Rose Reynolds' couples.
I thought I loved him before this moment, but now I know that was only the half of it, or maybe that’s love, finding something new every day that reminds you why you chose the person you gave your heart to.
“I’m not perfect, baby, not by a long shot. But I love you and will always fight for us, because what I found in you is more than I ever thought possible. I thought I had an idea of what having your love might feel like, but it didn’t even come close to the real thing.”
Ms. Reynolds gave us in Until Talon one of the sweetest, most passionate and feel good books. A fantastic love story, with some delicious banter, outstanding leads, and equally captivating secondary characters that I can't wait to read more about, and just the perfect amount of action and drama, all wrapped up in a enticing package, that will leave feeling happy and full of a warm fuzzy feeling, perfect to escape for some hours, and leave you just as happy hours after finishing. The true definition of a HEART WARMING book, and the perfect beach read! As I said one can never have too much Mayson in their lives, so I'm already dying for my next BOOM fix!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

A fantastic love story, with some delicious banter, outstanding leads, and equally captivating secondary characters that I can't wait to read more about, and just the perfect amount of action and drama, all wrapped up in a enticing package, that will leave feeling happy and full of a warm fuzzy feeling, perfect to escape for some hours, and leave you just as happy hours after finishing. The true definition of a HEART WARMING book, and the perfect beach read! As I said one can never have too much Mayson in their lives, so I'm already dying for my next BOOM fix!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

This was one of the best Until books I've read, this author is an auto buy for me but she really delivered with this one. Swoon worthy hero, some truly excellent writing, a fmc that was able to grow into her own while discovering true love, the glimpses of a possible secondary romance, great secondary characters, visits by the Maysons and a bit of possibly unbelievable suspense (lol )made this one a great read. I'm always ready for more from this author and I'd love to see Cece get her HEA. All in all I'd count this one as a win!

Boom, she did it again! Aurora Rose Reynolds played with my heart and made me fall madly, hopelessly and irrevocably in love with another Alphalicious Mayson man. I swear to God I can't get enough of her brand of romance heroes. The Until series and its spin offs are hands down my favorites! I adore this big, wonderful family and sincerely hope that Aurora will never stop writing about it! This masterpiece had everything I'm looking for in a heart-warming insta love story - entertaining plot, endearing characters with fantastic chemistry, low drama and all the feels!
Talon reminded me a lot of his father Nico. He is the embodiment of a hot, protective, possesive and a little bit bossy Alpha with a huge and soft heart. He is hard-working, well-respected and believes in family values. When he realised that Mia is his Boom he relentlessly pursued her until she finally gave in. Talon was determined to win her trust and show her that they belong together and that he is a man who sticks around and doesn't leave at the first hurdle in a relationship. I love it when a man is understanding, patient and willing to prove his worth to a cautious woman who is too scared to believe that good men do exist. This swoon-worthy dreamboat is going to make your heart beat faster. I worshipped the ground this perfect male specimen walked on!
Mia went through some tough experiences in her childhood that have shaped her as a women. She might be independant and strong on the outside but on the inside she is vulnerable and insecure. Mia left her life in Montana behind in order to move to Tennessee and help her sister who has separated from her cheating husband. She is very loving, selfless, loyal and honest. Things I admire greatly in a person. It made my heart melt to see the whole Mayson family adopting Mia as their own. They gave her a sense of belonging, unity and integrity. She took a chance on Talon and it turned out to be the best decision she has ever made in her life. In this incredible man she has found her safe haven und her happily ever after.
What I absolutely appreciate about this author's books is that she always conveys such strong and important messages to her readers. It's not only about being told a beautiful and touching story it's also about how the characters grow and evolve and what we can learn from their actions.
Until Talon is an outstanding and addictive must read you don't want to miss out on this summer. If insta love, OTT Alphas and feisty heroines are your jam then this story is going to be right up your alley. I don't know how Aurora does it but she manages to outdo herself with every new release. Its been awhile since i read a Mayson book!! And it was decent and steamy.
And like all ARR her alphas are super alphas.. but Talon was less alpha in my eyes.. he has become my 2nd fave guy in this series no one can beat Cobi lol.
Mia moved to help her sister Cece who is going though a rough time, working at a car dealership she runs into Talon who ends up saving her during a tornado storm. But it takes awhile (think few weeks) to find him again. And Talon is already hit with that Mayson Boom asking her on a date week after week lol. She kept turning him down because her history with men and a few times I did get annoyed because she kept holding back.. but that didnt stop Talon being a gentleman and letting her set the pace, but they do have some troubles Talon bussiness is being ruined and Mia and her sisters house is destroyed by someone. That won't stop Talon from keeping his new family safe.
We also get to see the Mayson family!! I miss cobi and all them.
I would love the sisters story but her relationship with Winston is messy and she don't need that.

I’ve been a fan of this series since reading Until November. Back in 2013. This has gone on to be one of my go-to books.
I liked Talon. I mean seriously who wouldn’t. But I didn’t feel any real spark here. It felt more like going through the motions.
Cece and Winston however provided a little excitement and intrigue.

of this one is not as explosive or as swoony for me as some of the other books in this family/series. Nevertheless, I enjoyed Talon and Mia’s story. But then again, this maybe because I love the Mayson’s. Just spending thins with any of them is always nice. 😊

My all-time favorite Mason brother is Nico so when I saw that his son Talon was getting his own book I was more than a little excited. My reading taste may have changed since the Boom books first began but I will never stop enjoying this world Aurora Rose Reynolds has created.
Mia is new to Tennessee but when her sister and nieces needed her she didn't hesitate to make the move. When a Tornado passes through town while she's at work she's completely unprepared but thankfully she is saved by a handsome stranger named Talon. Once Talon sets his eyes on Mia he knows she's the one and doesn't stop in his pursuit until she realizes it to. Talon is going to have to take things slow because Mia doesn't trust the male sex and is more than hesitant to date while her sister and nieces are her top priority. But Talon proves he is the right man for her and isn't going anywhere when things around them go wrong.
"Good Lord, I hardly know him, and he's already crawled under my skin and made himself home there."
If you haven't read an Until novel before, a little backstory, when a Mason male frinds the woman they are supposed to be with they know instantly, and they call it the BOOM lol yes its cheesy and literally the definition of Insta Love but it works and it's their thing. Things are no different for Talon the moment he sees Mia. Talon is a tattooed sexy alpha who has a heart of gold and family means everything. Mia has many of the same personality traits as Talon, so they get along really well. She is kind, caring and always making sure those around her are okay. Their outings together are sweet and their intimate scenes are hot, steamy and perfect. I have zero complaints when it comes to Talon and Mia.
"See? Even now, you're being nice," I cry, and he chuckles. "It's not funny, Talon. I'm trying to warn you that I'm crazy."
"I like your crazy."
Plot wise, Until Talon is what I expected from it. Insta love, building trust, involved family members, and some unrealistic drama thrown in at the end. Yet compared to past Until books' climax's this was pretty mild lol I also more than a little loved getting to see Nico, Sophie and all the other original Mason men and woman on the pages. Bonus - be prepared for animal sweetness with this one. Talon fosters a cat and her kittens while Mia has two of the laziest mutts ever. Then to wrap it up we get to see Talon and Mia's happily ever after 3 months, 6 months and 2 years down the road.
Until Talon was a great addition to the Until universe and I want a physical copy to sit on my shelf next to his dads book, so I can I easily access it for rereads ! As long as Aurora Rose Reynolds keeps writing them I'll always look forward to reading them :)

It's no secret that if Aurora writes it I will one click it. And that goes twice for any of her Until series. Those Mayson’s make mortal men look like boys with their alpha protectiveness and over the top family values. Add the BOOM family curse and them instantly knowing that they have met the love of their life and I'm in heaven.
Naturally Talon was the perfect Mayson man and I fell in love with him immediately. And Mia was more than worthy as his BOOM. Mia was all things loving and sweet while still being strong and protective. She really does fit in with the Mason ladies, well she will once she gets a little alcohol tolerance.
I think Bax summed it up best when he said a Mason meeting his BOOM was a cause for concern. Since that is when the killings, kidnapping and craziness ensues. And I had a feeling I knew what this couple’s craziness was going to be and I was only the tiniest bit right. It had me guessing until the end.
Naturally, I couldn't put it down once I started. And I love that it is everything that I wanted from Aurora. The awesome family, the pets, the craziness and the catch ups with old family members and the teasers for the next one. If only aurora could write faster, because I think Bax sounds like he is going to be everything we could want and more.

More Until Him books? Yes please! Until Talon is the story of Nico and Sophie's son Talon and Mia, who has just arrived in town to help her sister.
Mia is easy to like-she dropped everything to come to her sister's aid. She gets a job to help her sister pay bills, and loves getting to spend so much time with her nieces. Once Talon walks into her life, everything goes topsy turvy. He is persistent and there is no chance he won't win Mia over.
What I love about these books is that insta-love vibe. When the Mayson men fall, they are all in. Its alpha and hot. They are also good guys. Talon supports Mia and in doing so, supports Mia's sister. He gives her space when she needs it, but reminds her he is always right there. Swoon.
There is a touch of danger/drama that creates a bit of mystery in the story. I had figured out WHO was behind it, but I didn't figure out why so that was a surprise. That is just an aside though because the real story is all about Talon and Mia. I appreciate that sometimes a romance book is JUST romance.
Until Talon will delight long time readers of the series with the family connections and boom! I do hope that someday Mia's sister and Winston get a story because that would be super interesting!

I don't like the INSTA LOVE trope...and this author is known to write them a helluva lot.
But when I read the blurb, I really didn't get that vibe at all...and then I decided to read the book.
I wasn't wrong in my gut...yeah, there's a hint of "the INSTA thing" in it, sure, BUT this is actually a pretty well written romance drama about daring the woman of your desire to accept the feels beyond the obvious chemistry and the will to pursue this connection to no matter where it might lead you.
It's a leap of faith, it's a leap of trust and it's sexy and sweet and warm.

Until Talon was the ninth book in Aurora Rose Reynolds Until Him/Her series. The series was the legacy spinoff from her Until series.
Talon Mayson was the son of Nico and Sophie (book four, Until series). Mia Allenton came to Tennessee from Montana to help her sister and her three children while her sister was settling her divorce. Mia was working at a car dealership when Talon entered at the same time a tornado hit the area and then the saga began.
Reynolds had several plots running simultaneously: the relationship development between Talon and Mia, Mia’s sister’s challenges and Talon and Mia’s work sagas. Each plot added depth and dimension to the overall storyline and ultimately merged into the final conclusion.
All in all, it was a quick and enjoyable read. I enjoyed both characters as well as the bond and camaraderie between the entire Mayson clan. I’m not sure which Mayson offspring is next, but I’m looking forward to it!

The story was captivating and exciting and and had a bit of mystery to it and again ... HOT HOT HOT (look at that cover people!)
I’ve read this series in spurts and not in any kind of order so I feel good about telling you this story can be read as a standalone with no issue. Finding out who a couple is from a book you may not have read in the series should be no big deal because we all know in the end, there’s a HEA for all the books, it’s the getting to it that’s the awesome-sauce of a story. So that’s my long version of read this book even if you haven’t read any previous in the series. lol
