The most eligible billionaire bachelors in the city have offered themselves up for an entire weekend away with some lucky girl. Brother.
I’m far too broke to afford to play this game, but I’m not interested anyway.
Who would want to spend a weekend away with some arrogant, entitled jerk who thinks his money can buy him the world?
Not this girl. But no reason to miss out on the event.
My BFF’s hubs is out of town and she needs a plus-one. Count me in. The snacks are going to be legendary.
Things don’t go as planned, and I end up with a gift from my best friend—a weekend with the most stuck-up and dangerously delicious guy on the auction block.
This guy is the guy all other guys want to be. He’s the one, the only…

Weird start that made me feel like I needed to know some background info first. Since this is a second book in a series, I feel like I messed up and this isn’t a true stand-alone like I thought…
This book was about 45% too long. Larissa was generally unlikable. I have no idea what the characters saw in each other. They were either clearing up yet another misunderstanding by Larissa or having sex. The rest of the plot was just so boring. This book was a major letdown after book 1 and I contemplated not finishing multiple times. I just kept hoping it would get better or end.
Too many “misunderstandings”. On Larisa. If “jumping to conclusions” was a person, it would be her. About everything. She broke up with him multiple times and they weren’t even together.
I couldn't finish it. I made it over the halfway mark but he keeps telling her he's trying to change his player ways and she keeps ignoring what he's saying to believe things she thinks are going on. She's talking to his friends and finding out he's not who she thinks he is and still refuses to accept anything he says at face value.
I liked Tanner in the first book and really wanted to like this one, but neither character was interesting enough to have over 200 pages of the same miscommunication.
The book had potential to be good, but I very much disliked Larisa. I enjoyed book 1 in this series, but not this book. The drama is so manufactured. I tried to finish the book, but became frustrated and stopped about 63% in. She doesn’t deserve Tanner and him chasing behind her is nauseating.
this is Stephanie and Jeremiah’s story. An Interior Designer and a billionaire player..this is a wonderful, sweet, steamy with a light drama that will hooked you from start to finish, loved it! i highly recommend it! Ms.Parker done it again, well done!
Quick thoughts as I read…… not a fan of the h. Didn’t like wealthy people, judgmental, jumped to conclusions, not a fan. Couldn’t and didn’t want to see them together.
Did not like h Larisa. Felt like she was just looking for a reason to either be mad or dump Tanner. Didn't believe any of his actions were trustworthy.

This was a long story but very good, well written and filled with chemistry, fun banter, plot twists and maturity growth. You’ll be hooked from page one and have a rollercoaster ride of emotions.
I loved the instant attraction of Tanner and Larissa. I loved how supportive of her job he was, as well as how hard he worked to prove that he was a changed man. Larissa got on my nerves a lot with her jumping to conclusions and avoidance, when it could have been cleared up with a conversation. She did redeem herself in the end though.
I hope that Bart and Shawn get a book of their own and I hope to see more of Steph, Tiana, Larissa and Brit!
Her friend Brit bid and win a bachelor at a charity auction. Since Brit is married she gave the weekend with said bachelor to Larisa.
Tanner had no idea what to expect when spending a weekend with a married woman. He was surprised when Larisa, a women he literally ran into at the auction, stepped out of her car and told him Brit had gifted her with the weekend with him.
This is the beginning of a series of misunderstandings for these two. Even though they have great chemistry they can’t stay out of their own way.
The story was good but the sheer number of misunderstandings got tedious.
Really liked Tanner in the first book. In the first part of his own story with Larisa he somehow became a bumbling fool and I couldn't really get into Larisa. She is an over-reacter, insecure and made assumptions without truly trying to get to know Tanner. Didn't like her. Tanner somehow became less like a bumbling fool and redeemed himself after taking his head out of his @$$.
This was a great story even if at times I wanted to scream because of the lack of communication between the two main characters. Fortunately, they finally got it together and I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Can't wait to read the next book in this series because I feel certain it will be just as good as the other two. I highly recommend this book and this series!!!
This story was a non stop, bumpy ride from the moment Tanner and Larisa crashed into each other. As the storyline takes them on a rollercoaster journey of misunderstandings and drama, a relationship for them was not going to happen. With the help of his friends, Tanner was determined to change his bachelor ways. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Was excited to get my eyeballs on Larisa and Tanner and this story didn’t disappoint! I liked that instant attraction they had from the start, and even the feelings they both experienced after that weekend they were together. There were a few times I wanted to shake these two because of the myriads of miscommunication, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
I enjoyed this read with the ups and downs between Larissa and Tanner. There are moments of frustration as I warmed up to Larissa and how things progressed. They have a great chemistry, the pull is strong and there's a great growth in them both. I was hooked from the start!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This book was truly awful. It’s like the two main characters had ever dated before. And there was zero communication. Fights happened and separations happened because either character would just loose their g’damn minds after a small issue. I haven’t hated a “romance novel” as much as this one since Colleen Hoover’s Verity. Wow.
This was a super sweet book. I kinda didn’t like the back and forth if miscommunication between Tanner and Larisa but it would have made it too simple had there not been any. Would have loved an epilogue that included how their wedding went and if they started a family before jumping i to Barts story, but all in all it was a cute read.
Another great love story from Ali Parker! Larissa and Tanner connected at first meet but had a few obstacles to overcome. In the end, they found their true love.
Ali Parker has written another great story. Tanner and Larissa have some communication issues. It takes them some time to get on the same page. But when they do, it makes for a good story. Buckle up, it is going to be a wild ride.
Wowsa this book was absolutely fantastic and such an emotional rollercoaster ride with Tanner and Larisa. Tanner is ex ballplayer and now billionaire who is a player and arrogant man who drives Larisa nuts. This was such a great book and can't wait for more.
The characters were great. One minute you want to box Tanners ears, then you want to yell at Larisa. The story keeps you on your feet with each turn if the page.
This was more tell them show. It was very long Winded in their thoughts. It went on and on onto their boring minds. I did not finish by chapter ten I was too bored to continue. I didn't care what these two super vanilla characters got up to.
Loved Tanner & Larisa and loved them together. The back and forth between them almost gave me whiplash, though. There wasn’t a real climax it was kind of like 10 mini shocks throughout the book. Quick, fun little read!
This book made me mad at sometimes but for good reasons. Good romance book and not to much spice. Loved how the relationship ended even with all the drama with their relationship through your the book.
It was fun to read. It started with an auction of a weekend with a billionaire. Larisa was there with her married friend who noticed her interest in one of the men. She bid on him for her. It just got better from there.
I absolutely loved, loved, loved Tanner and Larissa. At one point it really seemed like all might be lost, but they figured it out. On to Bart and Shawn. I can’t get enough of this series!!
It’s over. This is what I thought when I finished this book. I could have somewhat enjoyed the storyline had the booked not been dragged out to a pointless 438 pages because of the numerous mis-communication. I’m grateful that it was free. Harsh, but true.
