I’ve been told I’m a demon, but that can’t be right!
My life is turned on its head one morning. It starts off as any normal morning would. A day like any other. Except, I sprout wings. Yep, wings…as in feathers.
From there, things really get a little crazy. I suddenly don’t need my thick glasses to see anymore. Other things about me change, too. Then two guys show up at my door.
Two sexy guys. I take one look at them and my eyes bug out and my mouth falls open for a hot minute. Holy moly!
They start fighting over me. Me? I can hardly believe it. Then they tell me what I am. What I’m capable of doing. They tell me I’m one of their kind and that I’m changing…evolving into something more. I’m not human! They say that I’ll learn how to use my wings and how to shift into my demon form. That I’ll be super powerful.
I also learn that there are other supernatural creatures who will start to pick up on my energy soon. They’ll come after me. I need to get a grip on my powers ASAP. Then I’ll need to choose between the two of them and leave this realm.
Did I mention that they are both princes? As in royalty? And that I find them just as sexy in their demon form as in their human ones? Both of them! What’s wrong with me? I won’t be able to choose. I’m not even sure I want to leave. This is my home!
I am told that I will have to go or pay the consequences. The problem is that I don’t trust them. I sense that they are both keeping something from me. But after all they’ve already unveiled, what could possibly be worse?
Cursed is the first book in a trilogy filled with fun and adventure. It ends on a major cliffhanger!! Take care that the heroine will end up having more than one love interest. Her partners can shift into demon form, so there might be some monster action – please don’t read this book if you are put off by this sort of thing. To walk through your daily routine and find that your body is changing is something most females would find horrifying and Quinn isn't any different. But unlike us who only have to worry about thinning hair and excess body weight, she finds herself sprouting wings and flying. And that's just the beginning. Being stalked by a large predatory bird that wants to mate, being followed by caged animals who look on her as their alpha are only a couple of the things Quinn has to get past as her daily job is in an animal sanctuary. But to have two gorgeous men appear and tell her she is their fated mate and she is becoming a demon - well that's on a whole new level. Because she is such a unique and potentially powerful wanna-be demon there are numerous other paranormal entities who want her in their lives. Some gorgeous, some hideous - but who to trust.
This story ended on a cliff-hanger (we were warned) damn!!! Now I want to read the rest of this story.
For readers who love fast paced, magic, love and betrayal - this is going t be an epic series that I highly recommend.

Struggled with this story and hurts my heart as I love Charlene’s stories…FMC was not too whiny…but the gosh darn it and fudge as curse words intent is the same as if you wrote or said the actual curse word…hate when authors do this even though they have the F bomb dropped by other characters…it’s like they are trying to dumb down other characters that use the actual F bomb, but make the FMC look all innocent and golden…just don’t have any cursing of any sort or have it and own it, quit with the do gooder…now on to MMC Thornsten he is an entitled asshole, he would be a hard pass, looks aren’t everything…nuff said…MMC Jessie absolutely love him. Recommendations were that this was quite spicy I have to disagree with them, I was bored with the “sexy spicy” scenes. For reference of what I think is spicy…Amelia Hutchins(Fae Chronicles only) Tate James, Rina Kent….

I think this book just made me irrationally angry right from the get go.
Our fmc, Quinn, starts off as this quirky, relatable down to earth girl. She's got curves, normal sized boobs, glasses, and bad hair days. Here I am rejoicing because this girl isn't one of those perfect girls that everyone swoons over, she's just a normal girl. Yeah. No. For like ten pages. Then she loses a ton of weight overnight and gets a flat stomach. She can suddenly see perfectly and doesn’t need glasses. Her hair grows and is perfect and thick and lucious. People literally stop her in the street to tell her how amazing she is. Because she just wasn't up to par before with all her flaws I guess, right?
Maybe I’m looking too deep into this, but like I said. Angry. Honestly, I was so frustrated by this that it put a damper on the rest of the book for me. Not that there was much of a plot anyways. This book is just two guys trying to out macho each other to get the girl. There’s some segments of her learning to fly, and coming into her power, but for the vast majority. Two dudes fighting over the all perfect, no flaws, gorgeous girl. Not even two dudes, plus the entire supernatural community, because not only is she flawless, apparently she's the last of her line, and bound to be super powerful or something. It didn’t really get into that too much, so who knows.

Omg I love Quinn and her demons, our fmc is the funniest ever she made me laughed so hard. I loved the 2 mmc as well their banter and trying to outdo each other is hilarious. I hoped that book 2 is not far away. This is gold pun inteded *grins*

This is a pretty good book, but of course, there are flaws
So, Quinn is a woman who believed herself to be human, but she turns out to be so much more.
As her powers emerge, all the royalty in pretty much every realm imaginable are after her. She has multiple kings and princes after her, and her 2 demon guys are keeping big secrets from her.
On top of that, Quinn has some very strange tendencies that I think we are meant to see as her being inexperienced, prim and chaste, but just come off more as a full grown woman that acts more like a child sometimes.
I'm going to start reading the next book now, since this one ends on a cliffhanger and I do want to know what happens. On to the next!

Riveting read, great start to this new series which I guarantee you’ll enjoy
The day had started out rather strangely and then had progressed to becoming downright unbelievable, after all who would have believed that whilst she had been working with the Turkey Buzzard, she would suddenly find herself flying at the roof of the Avery in front of school children.
She knows that something had definitely changed as she no longer needed her specs to see which was just unbelievable, then two men she has never seen in her life turn up and start to fight over who she belongs to. If she had not have known better, she would have thought it was a Monday?
I guarantee that as you get into this book you will find like me that you have to read it in one sitting, it’s simply impossible to put down.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

What an amazing story! I absolutely loved this book! Not one sexy guy but two hot demons! Too bad they’re both holding onto their own secrets! They’re both trying to win Quinn over and I find some of their interactions quite funny. Poor Quinn gets up one day and her life just starts changing like never before! This was a very well written story with amazing characters and a fantastic storyline! It really pulls you into the story right from the start and I really didn’t want to put it down! An amazing start to this trilogy and I can’t wait for the next one! Warning…it does end on a doozy of a cliffhanger. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review for this complimentary copy of this book

A demon love triangle, I love it!! Quinn is a sweet girl who works with animals and doesn't get much attention from men. That is until she starts to change. Jesse is a demon bounty hunter and a scoundrel. He is naughty and funny. He was hired by his king to bring back Quinn so the king can marry her. Thorston is a prince. He's super sexy but very uptight. He father is holding onto the throne until Thorston finds his mate. And the king will do anything to prevent Thorston from finding his mate and taking the throne. This is a great first book in a sexy and fun series. It's sexy and dangerous. Can't wait for the next book!

This is book one of a trilogy. Nice world building in this first book. We find out that in other realms there are magic beings who are looking for a lost Queen. This Queen is supposed to help the magical beings some how. We don’t know why every magic King or leader is trying to get to Quinn but they are. Two Demons find her first. They slowly try to acclimate Quinn to her new powers but time is running out because more dangerous villains are on their way to earth for Quinn. This book ends in a cliffhanger however the author does say that the story is a trilogy so the cliffhanger is a given. Read On!

Brilliant Hot Demons
Quinn starts to develop new talents & at the same time her body image is changing from nerd to sexy woman. Two hot men appear in her life at the same time & her world turns upside down.
This new series has started so well & had me laughing out loud as the events unfolded with both men trying to win her over.
The pace was fast, the men are hot, Quinn is growing her demonic ways very rapidly.
The cliffhanger ending has left me needing the next book & luckily it’s only a month away.
I was fortunate to be given an ARC & this is my personal opinion

Great book
I enjoyed this book, especially the different povs. I loved reading about each of the characters emotions although it did give me some anxiety knowing the guys were hiding things from her. I loved reading about her work and the animals who loved on her. I’ve read this once already because I saw 2 more books came out and I wanted to be on the up n up when I read the next books. I hope she comes out with some kind of angel powers or something completely different than what they all expected.

The story was slow, and I never seemed to be able to get interested in it. Its all questions without any answers. Add to that, was a cliffhanger which I hate. I knew that going into it, but I decided to go ahead since the whole trilogy is out. Unfortunately, I'm not invested in it enough to read the next book. Finally, top that off with no spice. No heat. Nada. Zip. The building blocks were there, but the fire never started. The only thing good was that I didn't see a ton of typos.

Good read
A little slow to start in the romance department. But good story. Quinn has some serious low self esteem who then turns into the perfect woman thanks to her supernatural side emerging. With that comes the presence of two seriously hot demons who vie for her attention. But with two completely different agendas. New powers, new hotties and knowledge of everything she didn't know is just too much for a girl to take.

I almost DNF'd this but then powered through hoping it would get better. It didn't, but it also wasn't completely terrible. This is one of those unoriginal reverse harems that are fun enough in the moment, but that you won't remember anything from in a few months. Also, I wish authors would understand that your main character isn't cute or quirky because she doesn't curse, she just sounds juvenile. A grown woman saying fudge and lady bits is just embarrassing.

As the story grows the characters personalities really start to show. Quinn is in for a rollercoaster ride in completely unknown worlds. Thorston and Jesse are both hot and sexy as sin. I can't wait to see how they protect each other and the demon realms.

Wow what a ride, what a great start to a new series! It had everything, danger, excitement, flirting and deception. I am well and truly hooked and I'm very eager to see what happens next. With that cliff hanger i am now at the point where i can't see how this can work out well, but Charlene Hartnady has never let me down yet!!!

4,5 Stars because I was so excited to get a chubby FL with glasses and then the author comes along and makes her drop dead gorgeous and her friends tell her "i always told you that you are beautiful, see?" and that nearly made me drop it at the start.

Couldn't finish
While I thought the premise of this was good the story never fleshed out. It never really went anywhere. Most of the first two thirds of the book was the two devils fighting and flinging insults, bleh. Then add in the perky titties,orgies, and the foul mouth of the male MC and that's it I'm done.

MFC is a Pollyanna who won’t curse, is somewhat of a prude, and acts like a naive idiot when she happens upon an orgy, only to become a completely opposite person when she’s finally getting some of her own. 🙄 There are so many seemingly better MFCs in other books to occupy my time so despite the gorgeous cover, I’m not continuing on with this series.

In a way the girl is a standard girl. Who becomes something different. Not the standard things what you expect. It is a book that not many write about and if they do it isn't like this. So if you want something different this is your book. down and plus side? Well it a series off 3 so the end isn't here yet. What I like and am like grr.. now I have to wait to know what's coming next. Good thing you have more to read and you don't have to wait really long.

Written well, good fantasy.....NOT a romance
I'm really disappointed. I read romance. This is clearly a fantasy, but it is not a romance & its a cliff hanger! I HATE cliff hangers. So, well written fantasy. I will not be reading any more of this series.

This could have been a 4 star if Jesse and/or Thornton told Quinn how much danger she was really in and Quinn didn't go for a run. Smh. They were treating her like a child that couldn't handle the truth, which really irritated me.

Interesting But Slow
The build up is so freaking slow. Like at the end of this book I know nothing more than I knew at the beginning of the book. Also it got interesting just as it was ending.
Overall reads like very wordy long winded chapters and not a book.

Gives you a little of everything
I love paranormal romance. Sometimes there is just too much x-rated parts though. Cursed has a perfect amount. You've got to be ready to jump into the next book, though. I'm ready.

good
5 stars mostly because I think the characters are interesting and I’m definitely reading the next book. So far, none of the characters, good or bad, are particularly complicated. I almost dropped it to 4 stars because of that.

Awesome!!
I can't wait until the next adventure. The author takes you into the story and makes it feel completely realistic and you cannot help but feel like you're a part of the story. Can't wait to see what happens next!!
