Using humor and sparking feelings of nostalgia, the episodes in this volume seek to engage with complex topics (including sexuality, parental authority, and AIDS), all from the point of view of a child eager to discover the “whys” of the world around him.

Touours pareil avec titeuf, tant de sexisme et de betisé de culture du viol.... dire aue je me coltine souvent des mecs de ma genration qui sont fan de cette merde et que cest nous qui le payons en ecoutant leur blague mysogine en mode bro code. A jeter a la poubellé comme tous les titeuf. Rien que la reprensentation mysogyne, validiste, suprematiste blanché grossophobe. Une honte

За френско-белгийските комикси (bande dessinée) Титоф е герой, чиято популярност може да се мери с тази на Барт Симпсън в САЩ. Първият албум се появява през 1993 и през последните 25 години са го последвали още четиринадесет, като хлапето с щръкналия рус перчем се радва на все по-голяма популярност и определено култов статус. Комиксите са адаптирани в анимационен сериал и филм, продават се милиони бройки, а техният създател продължава да твори. Швейцарският художник и карикатурист Филип Шапуи, известен повече като Зеп (псевдоним, избран в чест на Led Zeppelin) е издаван и на български, въпреки, че родните комикс фенове май някак си пропускат да забележат присъствието на Титоф у нас. Titeuf is a child of the 90's, and this active 8/9 year old and his school friends (when not pulling pranks or getting up to mischief) have a lot of questions about all manner of things - but especially about girls and things of that nature. Cartoonist Zep has produced a 48 page book of one page gags, some of them slightly edgy, but very much in the vein of what you would say find in Calvin and Hobbes strips. It's perfectly okay, though I'm probably a little old for these now, meaning it didn't elicit any chuckles from me. His cartooning itself is very well done though, very legible and good at conveying what is happening panel to panel. A quick read which you should be able to flash through in a sitting or two.

Avalanche d’émotion dans ce tome rocambolesque reprenant parfaitement les codes d’un enfant maigrichon. Je me remémore mes années de collège et cette argne rebelle qui régnais en moi, ahah, je me souviens, je me mettais jamais dans le rang correctement, c’est ouf, jsuis dans ta team tit’s en tout cas. Avec du recul aujourd’hui je me rends compte de la toxicité de Nadia et j’espère qu’il a décroché avec elle à l’heure où j’y pense.

A comic book that threw me back to my teenager years. In the context, that is to say, when the comic book was published, is a trailblazer for subjects like sexuality which is taboo for most teenagers. This comic book feels like an encyclopedia where it answers questions surrounding sexuality, with a hint of humour. Had a really good time re-reading it.
