This is a short and sweet read. Mason and Madison are adorable! They're both virgins. They've each had a crush on the other for a while. Mason finally asks Madison out... and things heat up!
What makes this book stick out to me is that hockey wasn't Mason's whole life. He wanted to own a restaurant and be a chef too. Madison supported him wholeheartedly.
I recommend this book! Especially the bonus chapter. ;)

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Mason meets Madison in the offices of the Vancouver Vikings, she runs the gift shop. Mason comes in everyday with treats for the office workers. When he leaves a lava cake for Madison she begins to choke on it, Mason jumps the counter to help her out. Words spreads around the Viking stadium about how Mason rescued Madison and jumping the counter. Two other hockey players tease Mason during practice about what he did, then they find out Mason is a virgin. Noah Edwards invites Mason out for drinks and to help him keep the other guys in line to the only bar all the hockey players go to. Mason doesn't like to go out but to keep everyone in line he goes. As soon as some other the other players see that Madison is in the bar they make a bet with Mason if he doesn't win a game of pool he has to asks her out. Mason wins the game of pool but he goes up to Madison and asks her out anyway. Mason gets help from Miles and Ellie to have his date at the coffee shop. He has a special menu planned for Madison. When Madison arrives Ellie shows her to the table and then brings out the food. Everything is perfect and Madison tells Mason no one has ever done anything like this for her before. They go back to Mason apartments and they both find out they are both virgins and are happy they saved themselves for each other. They spend the whole night together, the next morning Mason makes breakfast for Madison. When she sees what time it is she tells him she needs to get to work and he needs to get to practice. It's rivals week and coach is all over all the hockey players, Mason tells Madison nothing will change between them but he'll be busy until the games are done. They have their first game against Toronto, Mason sees Madison up in the stands and waves at her. They loose the game and coach chews all the players out, then takes all their phones. When Mason speaks up coach tells him he's is done and is escorted out of the stadium. Madison gets worried about Mason and can't find him during the game or after. So she goes back to her apartment to find a letter and some money to catch a cab to an address she doesn't know. When she arrives she finds Mason and asks him what's going on, he tells her he bought the building to start his own restaurant, a dream he's had for a while now. She asks him if he wants to continue his career with hockey and he tell her no he's done. Business at the restaurant is extremely well, Madison quit her job and took over the book for Mason. They're a team and both couldn't be any happier.

Mason is is a hockey player in Vancouver, a place he called, a dream job. Not that the other places were bad, by any means. Because any time you can play hockey, for the NHL, is a win. The only thing now he is in his mid-thirties. So, staying out late drinking, beer, and women every night does not hold the same appeal.
He is more into eating well, staying fit, and making sure he always appears professional. One has a two-fold benefit, it is his love of cooking. It's great for his health and a way for him to relax. There is always one bad apple on each team. One who wants to pick on someone. And this person is gunning for, Mason, making him his target.
But, Mason has a secret he is afraid this bully will find out about. Well, he has more than one. Although I believe a few are just for fun and do not make him pale in color. You see, Mason and Madison have their meet-cute when she goes in for work. She is the gift shop girl.
While Mason is in with the ladies in the office they invite her to try his lava cakes. She does, he no sooner leaves the office when she pops the last piece in her mouth. The next thing the ladies know Madi is doing the universal sign for choking. One of them yells help loudly just as Madi is losing consciousness. Mason knows what to do and she is back. They joke that she wants a new piece of cake and that hers got ruined.
Mason says health and safety might have something to say about that if, they find out what happened. She says she won't tell them, his secret is safe with her. When all of a sudden Mason’s handsome smile leaves his face, he turns pale, and he looks distant. He gets up and leaves. Saying nothing to anyone.
From there his teammate's bullies start pushing every button there is. Trying to find out about his dating practices and history. But, when he goes out with the team the bullying takes an interesting turn. His crush, Madi is there to witness it. Leading to more than he ever dreams possible.

Cute story with two people who have been crushing on one another for months. Mason's getting on in years in hockey terms. Madison works for the gift shop at the hockey ring.
When the team finds out Mason secret it's down to asking Madison out himself or one of his teammates will do it for him.
There is enough conflict caused the the immaturity of the younger team members and the douchy coach who treats the team like utter garbage.
We learn that Mason loves to cook and wants restaurant someday.
Eventually we learn that Mason's secret is also Madison's in a way.

Coach was an absolute dick with his behavior. Can he really fire a player? I'd think it would be the higher ups and you can just fire him overnight.
Could we not have come up with better names for the main characters?! Don't we all think Madison and Mason are a little too matchy matchy? More like siblings names then a couple?!
When the team finds out Mason secret it's down to asking Madison out himself or one of his teammates will do it for him.

This is the fourth story in this series, and this is Mason and Madison’s journey. Mason is the oldest teammate in the Vancouver Vikings, and he knows that his days are numbered. Mason is incredibly shy around women, and he loves baking and cooking, which he takes to distribute to the ladies in the office. Madison is attracted to Mason, but she thinks that he is out of her league, but when he plucks up the courage to ask her for a date, she accepts. This is a well written age gap romance, which is a quick read, with undeniable chemistry, passion, and love, which leads to a steamy page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I loved reading this sports romance story. This is an author that I have loved reading since the first book I picked up. I never hesitate to pick her books. They are well written, steamy, and engaging. This book is no different. I enjoyed watching the characters grow throughout which added to the story. They pulled me into the story from the start. They had me coming back for more. This is a story that is fast paced and full of romance. You don't want to miss what happens in this story. This is part of a series that I highly suggest reading the previous stories as they are that great. This one is my favorite yet. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. That being said, I was totally in love with Mason and Madi. This was a dual virgin, instalove book. Mason is a huge hockey player and Madi work at the gift shop. They both are attracted to each other but are also both shy. Madi is a bigger girl but Mason loves her curves.
This was a quick amazing read. I have loved this author’s books and continue to enjoy her work!.

Stesso discorso del libro prima, carino, sport romance, ci sta, questo libro è quello che mi è piaciuto di meno sinceramente (nella mia testa mi sono detta “ma che cavolo?” verso gli ultimi capitoli, capirete se li leggerete), trama un po’ diversa dal solito, ovviamente troppo instalove per i miei gusti ma almeno le scene spicy so scritte bene😂😂
Libro ok, veloce e leggero (meno di 90 pagine) tutta la serie si legge molto velocemente

I thought this was a cute romance. Madison and Mason are adorably sweet and shy. These two obviously liked each other but were too sweet to do much to get to know one another. Once they did, sparks flew and the chemistry between them was hot and heavy. I found this OTT story fun and entertaining.

A very short and sweet read. Honestly kinda made me mad how shi**y the teammates and the coach was but I’ll just ignore that and focus on the main couple. There are really no great side characters except like two. Even the ladies she was working with were just annoying to me. BUT despite annoying side characters the mains were so cute. I love how fast they knew they were meant to be. So perfect. And the spicy was pretty good.

Just as in all these other stories of this serie, this girl falls in love on the fucking first date.
Mason's a virgin, which isn't bad or anything but suddenly everybody needs to know.. he even tells Madison on the first freaking date and guess what, she's a virgin too..
Something that bothers me aswell is that all these girls are curvy, its getting boring really..

I was so excited for Mason’s story! I love how shy and nervous him and Madi are around one another, it helped build up their chemistry so well. Their story had me on edge cause there were a few twists I did not see coming! The epilogue and bonus scenes tho?! So. Good.
