After welcoming a son to his family, Detective Ronan O’Mara is on top of the world. When his ex-husband, convicted child murderer, Josh Gatlin, has his life sentence overturned, Ronan’s carefully constructed world begins falling down around him. Not only is his murderous ex about to be set free, he accuses Ronan of being Michael Frye’s killer in a tell-all television interview. When Josh is found murdered in his jail cell, all eyes turn to Ronan as the suspect.

Psychic Tennyson Grimm wants nothing more than to spend his days bonding with his newborn son, but when Ronan insists on investigating his ex’s murder, Ten knows Ronan will need his abilities more than ever. With surveillance camera mounted everywhere within the prison, Ten knows solving the crime will be as simple as watching the footage. The only problem is that the cameras were switched off the night of the murder.

Making the crime that much harder to solve are the suspects, the warden and three corrections officers, who all have the opportunity and motive to have silenced Josh permanently. Complicating matters further is the involvement of convicted mob boss Vito Dragonni, who may be playing both sides against the middle.

When the wrong man is arrested for the crime, Ronan will do anything to find Josh’s true killer, including using himself as bait to lure the monster out of hiding. Can Ronan catch the killer before they strike again or will he be the next man to wind up dead and gone?

In her spare time, Pandora fancies herself an amateur nature photographer. She enjoys mucking around in swamps, hiking through the woods and crawling around on her hands and knees in her backyard seeking out the perfect shot. Pandora is a fan of roadside seafood shacks and always thinks Mexican food is a good idea at the time.

Some of Pandora’s favorite things are chocolate, writing longhand with purple pens and handsome men falling in love with each other.

Love These Guys!

Ronan and Ten are back for their nineteenth (I know, right!!) mystery to be solved. This time though there's the added interest that the ghost who needs help finding their murderer is none other than Ronan's dirtbag ex-husband, Josh. Added to that is the highly emotional state the little family are in having only brought baby Ezra home a few days previously. Boy, does it make for a scary and unsettling time for them. As always, though, our heroes can rely on the love and support of their extended found family in their hour of need. The characters' portrayal as new (again) parents is on point and the plot is as twisty turny as you could want it...and so another mystery is solved. I cannot wait for book twenty! 5*

I don't know why, but this one didn't hit as well as the others. It isn't bad, it has higher stakes than in past books, and unless you pay attention if isn't predictable. Maybe I'm still sour from the last one. I certainly know I'm annoyed that Everly is 3 and still talks like she's learning to. She should have some fluidity by this point, I'm sure.
It is, however, a smidgen confusing, as it draws from at least three books that (as I read these as they publish instead of binging them) I read easily over three years ago.
I'd forgotten of Ronan's first husband. I'd forgotten they went against a mob boss. And I'd forgotten Ronan had another best friend before Jude showed up. And that made me stop several times and go "wait, what?". At least she explained who did what instead of counting on our memory

I'm not sure if my tastes have changed or if it's because it's been so long that I have a higher expectations from them but lately they have been really boring for me. I'm extremely angry that there is no continuation from the previous book

I feel like since they have grown a lot if you compare who they were at the beginning, the author just stopped investing in their development and has now portrayed them as college students mindset, all of them working as a pack instead of individuals, all of them making the same jokes over and over again when they stopped being funny 10 books ago. I am bothered that Ronan now has the emotional intelligence of a 12 yo and Ten is the middle age woman next door who cares way too much about simple things and gets emotional if someone even sneezes too loudly. I'm tired of reading Ten rescuing Ronan from himself for the last few books.

I mean, don't get me wrong Pandora writes AMAZING stories but it feels as if she gets bored in the middle of things and just stops caring about what happened before and just ends with "oh! sorry, now let's all be friends" when the sociopath gives out a totally faked apology. And Ronan moves on as if nothing happened while Ten appears to write in his diary how much he was bothered by everything and breaks out the violins so he can express how strong he is for existing.

At this point, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep reading it, and if I do it will be only if Jude and Cope have an amazing appearance there and it's relevant for their own series.

So Good!

So good to be back in the world of Ronan and Ten. Baby Ezra has arrived and when life as a family of four should be perfect, a couple of nights home with the baby their phones blow up with their extended family telling them to put on the TV where they find Ronan’s scumbag ex-husband Josh giving an interview from the prison where he was sent after being convicted of the abduction abuse and murder of five year old Michael Fry. This was Ronan and Ten’s first case together and Michael guided Ten to the place he was buried and helped solve his own murder.

Josh was announcing his sentence had been overturned following an appeal and then did a hatchet job on Ronan where he stated that Ronan was the actual killer and had framed him but before he could be released he was murdered in his cell. All eyes are on Ronan as his life starts to shatter.

Ronan has no choice but to solve the murder to take the heat off himself. Ten is very reluctant to return to the prison after a previous visit sent his psychic abilities into free fall and made him ill but he knows he will have to help Ronan especially as Josh is as evil dead as he was alive.

As usual all the family rally round to help with the case which has many twists and turns and little miss Everly seems to get a big dose of jealousy over her new baby brother and Ronan is on the end of her temper tantrums 😂 With four year old Everly having some stronger powers than her father Ten, Ronan is lucky she doesn’t turn him into a frog!

Another good story about this lovely chosen and rapidly expanding family.

**4.5**
I have loved this series from the start and now, in a way, we're coming full circle. One of the original bad guys for this series has come back to haunt Ronan and Tennyson, causing uproar in their life just after they bring home their newborn son.
Josh's evilness (totally a word!) seeps through from the start and you can completely understand Ronan and Tennyson's need, and fear, to get him out of their lives and away from their children as soon as possible. It seems like an impossible case they're asked to work by solving the murder of a prisoner with several possible suspects, a connection to another previous bad guy that Ronan put away, with no help from those working on the inside. What keeps them going is the help from their found family who always step up during the hard moments. Jude and Fitzgibbon are straight on the case, looking into everything whilst wanting to keep everyone safe. I felt especially for Ronan, given what Josh tells the world about him, he then says to both he and Tennyson, and how his past is affecting his family.
Everly is the bright spot in this book, even when having a tantrum she's adorable, full of the sass and attitude of a three year old but is going to grow up to be a psychic to never be messed with. Ezra also brings that new baby happiness and love to the group.
Yet another great story from Pandora Pine for the Cold Case Psychic series. This one brings the past into the future and allows them to finally close the door on the hardest part of Ronan's life.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

I loved this book of course. Ronan and Ten brought home Ezra and had to deal with Everly's temper tantrum since while she is the big sister she is not the sole focus of their attention now.
Then Kevin called to tell them they had to watch the news and discover that Ronan's asshole ex, Josh, was released after his conviction was overturned and he accused Ronan as the actual murderer of Michael Frye. All hell breaks loose as the news vans show up and then they get the call that Josh has been murdered and the cameras were turned off. The warden calls them to come investigate but he is hiding something and the 3 guards on duty are a grisly lot. The visit to the prison and the morgue take so much out of Ten so he only goes on one guard interview and knows he is gay and very dominant. The others Ronan interviews alone and they are even worse. Then Josh's ghost shows up and is his usual nasty self and threatens the kids but he also wants to know who killed him. They know Dragonni is involved somehow but I didn't expect the other deaths and who was the real killer and Dragonni won't tell them before he goes into the light. Not sorry that Josh went to hell. At least Ronan was cleared and now they can spend time with the kids until the next case.

Dead and Gone brings the Cold Case Psychic series full circle. Ronan's ex husband, Josh, has the conviction for the murder from book 1 overturned. And then gets himself killed. Rather than be the end of it, Josh's murder just causes more issues. Ten, Ronan and their partners, Jude and Fitz are asked to solve the murder before bodies begin piling up.
To top this off, baby Ezra has just joined their lives and Josh's ghost makes threats against Everly.
This was one nail biting, edge of the seat, action filled story. When the lives of their family and friends are in a killers cross sight, Ten and Ronan are at their best. A fine story.

While not particularly complex, I was drawn into the mystery right away. I find it remarkable that the author can bring back plot elements from 18 books ago and still make them feel fresh and exciting. I was wary going in, thinking “Haven’t we already done Ronan is accused of Murder before?” but the story doesn’t unspool the way I thought it would. I literally read this in two sittings, i was that engrossed in the story. Looking forward to the next book in the CCP universe.

I love this series and it is an auto-read for me (even though I'm so very far behind), so I didn't read the blurb before starting this. I admit to gasping out loud at the situation with Josh. I was annoyed at first with him, but then things just got even crazier. I love these characters so much, and seeing Everly deal with being a big sister to Ezra was just so sweet. Good mystery and overall story.

Brilliant

Dead and Gone was awesome! I was smiling and laughing at the kids antics one minute, then felt my hackles rising the next when the evil Josh put in an appearance (I feel I should be booing at this point!). It's a great story and the kids are all cute as buttons!! Hopefully the next book isn't too far away!!!!!

I feel like this series should see it s end😀 The stories aren t interesting or captivating anymore and the fact we have all these ghosts who always prepare our characters for the worse or predict if something will end well or badly it s taking away the suspense. Even if the characters are put in danger you know they ll be fine bc one of the ghost will let that slip😀

*WARNING* intended for mature readers
Ronan must be the most unlucky character around. He falls in a pile if poop, but always comes out smelling like a rose. I enjoyed the story and adore the characters. Only Ronan and Tenn could be threatened by a ghost! It's an intriguing mystery to solve while interacting with a group of wonderful characters.

Ten and Ronan are back with new baby Ezra just home from the hospital. You'd think these folks would get a break but where would the fun in that be lol. This time around Ro's ex, Josh, is back and causing trouble. Nasty ghosts, prisoners, folks from previous cases and some new characters abound. It took a minute for this one to pick up for me but once it did i was invested.

I loved this book. At about 3 AM I wanted to keep reading it so bad but after dropping my Kindle on my face several times I had to go to sleep. But first thing I did when I woke up was finish it. I can't wait for Pandora Pine's next book.

Ronan and Ten Never Saw It Coming

This series is spectrally spectacular. Ronan and Ten have survived multiple murderers and murderous ghosts. Will they survive Ronan' s ex? Read the book to find out. You'll love every word!

OMG! Can nothing go right for these two? I mean, seriously? Thank goodness Ronan and Ten have "family" with some amazing skill sets both here and beyond!

As for the good news, and yes there is some... MORE babies! *grin*

I agree with another reviewer--I love these guys, but I will admit I had a hard time getting into the story--I think it's because I despised Josh, and I didn't want to read about him anymore--but he got his just desserts so reading the book was well worth it. Recommend reading.

Dead and Gone

Wish Josh would have stayed away, but I knew he'd probably pop up again at some point. LolThe story was good except when Ronan had to repeat what the warden had already explained to Tennyson about the tasers.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

Man, Pandora has done it again. I really enjoyed this book. Ronan, Ten & the West Side Magick Gang are back for another awesome Cold Case Psychic Instalment. Ronan and Ten have just brought their son Ezra home from the hospital two days after his birth, and what should be the happiest time for their family. Ronan’s ex-husband, convicted of the m*rder of five year old Michael Fyre, Josh Gatlin has his life sentence overturned. Josh does a tell all interview and accuses Ronan of being Michael Fyre’s k*ller. When Josh is found m*rdered in his cell, all eyes turn to Ronan as a suspect. Ronan needs to investigate Josh’s m*rder, so with the help of Ten, Jude and Kevin they head to the prison to try and get to the bottom of who m*rdered Josh, and why?

It should’ve been easy to find out who k*lled Josh, since there are cameras everywhere in the prison but the cameras were turned off the night of Josh’s m*rder. The suspects are, the Warden and the three Corrections Officers who were working the night Josh died, and they all have access to the security cameras. Will they be able to work out who k*lled Josh before more people end up dead? All I can say is I’m glad Josh is dead after everything he’s done. Even in death he’s completely horrible, and saying that he’ll come after Everly if they don’t solve his m*rder. I love the feeling of family that these books have, and that they’d go above and beyond for each other. I’m looking forward to reading more books from this universe when they’re released. I hope that we eventually get Scorpio’s story, as well as more books about Greeley. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.
