The crowdfunding deadline’s almost here, and everyone’s working as hard as possible to ensure things succeed. Wait, why does that mean Mizuhara has to go on a date with Umi, the handsome guy from her acting class?! Umi claims it’s only a get-together as friends, and he promises to spread the word of Mizuhara’s campaign on his popular Twitter account if she meets with him. Is that truly all he’s after, though? Could this mean a new romantic rival for Kazuya at the worst possible time?!
SO MUCH HAPPENED IN THIS VOLUME! Where the heck do I even begin! First off my girl Chizuru can be a big dumb dumb! What even was that reaction to Mini telling her that Kazuya loves her! Obviously it was denial but, girly pop needs to dig into her own feelings and figure out how she really feels about him because she be lying to herself. And I was already kind of meh about Umi but now I am definitely not a fan! Tricking our girl into a semi date! How rude! Don’t get me wrong that man is very good looking but that was a shady thing to do, he should’ve just been honest with her from the start. Hate to say it but Kazuya was right to be suspicious of him lol. But I’m glad Chizuru chose not to go to dinner with him and went to handout flyers with everyone else… though I was worried that Umi was going to go back on his word and not post about their project. And speaking of the project…. THEY DID IT! The crowdfunding worked! Ahhhhh! I was so happy! \ The filming chapters were some of my favourites to read, even though it was only a couple of chapters I really enjoyed them… it felt like we were getting a few sneak peaks of the movie. I’m still nervous that somehow, somethings going to happen and it’s not going to work out but hopefully I’m wrong because I very much want Chizuru’s Grandma to see this film and I really hope its actually a good film too lol.
This series is just getting better and better for every chapter!
I am also so terribly happy for Ruka to finally find a meaning in her life that also includes her condition with heartbeats. I hope that will help her reduce her obsession over Kazuya, and just let him go to his own true love.
And fickyeah I love this new neighbour. One of the only ones to not fall in love with him. PLEASE STAY THAT WAY.

There isn't much in the way of character development in this volume but it does a good job moving through the story of making the movie. There were several sweet moments in this volume. The drama was dialed down for this one. Even the "other guy" entering the picture had but merely a ripple effect.
After all the build-up to the crowd funding, it's happening and looks close to being over. Now I'm really curious about what will happen next, especially after certain events in this volume!
