I walked in the shadow of death, the grim reaper following me as I left a trail of souls for him to collect.
There was nothing left but vengeance and to save my sister from the clutches of the man I despised.
Then I opened that room door and my life change forever when I found a woman too pure and innocent for me.

Stolen from her family and left in a twilight world of non-existence, Willow had been slowly starved of sensation until she was broken by her unusual punishment. All colour had drained from her world until a dark angel rescued her, and now she belonged to him, body and soul.

Gabriel lost his soul seven long years ago when his family was torn apart, and he had to serve the man he hated in an attempt to find his sister Gloria. Known as the angel of death, he assassinated those who opposed his master until the day that Darius' empire crumbled and those left behind had a limited time to save the women enslaved by a tyrant.

They were never destined to meet. They both came from different worlds.
Yet the moment Gabriel walked into that prison cell and found Willow, she belonged to him.
Fate had a twisted sense of humour, but some fires only ignited when the perfect elements combined.
Angels were emissaries of light, but dark angels heralded death, desire, and destruction.

3,5 🤔💥💘🌟🌟🌟s❗️

It was definitely me and not the book.
I just couldn’t connect as much as I wanted with the heroine... 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Vendetta Brotherhood is a wonderful and intense mafia romance series with possessive alpha and tough heroes and determined sassy heroines, who share great chemistry and passion, action packed and fast paced, plenty of twists and turns!!

Each part has the story of a different couple, however all characters appear throughout the series.
The parts can be read as standalone (each one has a hea), yet they are interconnected. It’s preferable to read them in order.

(My pov will be mostly the same for most of the series’ parts, because I read them when I was on vacation mode! 😉⛱)

"We are not victims, we are survivors."
Be prepared before starting this one -
I suggest a couple of boxes of tissues and a teddy or two for comfort
This might be my favorite in the series to date -
It had a lot of cameos from interconnecting series
It answered so many questions as well as gave me some new ones
It also allowed us some more personal insight into some of my favorite characters and previous survivors

"Maybe it took more than an angel to save me."
This is Gabriel and Willow's story but I also felt it was a more personal look at the girls who had survived.
The connection between Willow and Gabriel was almost instant - it felt right
Gabriel, once she found her new legs, decided it was time to take what she wanted including the elusive Gabriel

As with all the books in this series lots of action, twists (there are some Holy Hades moments that I am still reeling from), kabooms, crimson rivers, a strong heroine, and an alpha hero who puts her happiness above everything

I wish this had been a bit longer -
There were some scenes/situations that I felt needed more closure
Yes I am well aware this is most likely a "me" thing and that some of the answers/closure will be in the next book - So maybe I am a bit impatient

This is part of a series and should not be read as a standalone

This is book 5 of the Vendetta Brotherhood. Of all the 5 books, I probably enjoyed this the one the most. It is dark and has triggers so keep that it mind but the darkness isn’t a demeaning or degrading to the ‘h’. The story follows Gabriel, of course, and Willow. Gabriels sister is kidnapped by Darius and Gabriel searches for her and actually frees and rescues Willow. She sees him as her saviour and even after being kidnapped feels safe with this stranger. She is connected and fears leaving him or being sent away but they both have baggage leading them.

To begin this book may have parts that are triggering for some readers. So please be prepared for that if you fall into that category.

This book was an extraordinary addition to the Vendetta Brotherhood series. It sent chills up and down my spine at times. Even though there was a lot of darkness contained in this book, there was also a slow build up of light and love!! The darkness was required to ensure that the reader truly enjoyed the book as well as understood the need for all the positive light that came next. While the romance and spicy nature of this book came about almost slowly compared to other novels in this series, I really enjoyed how CR Robertson brought the characters together. Of course let’s not forget about how the book ended, with vengeance, blood, and an overwhelming feeling of love and the required HEA this author includes in her books about dark romance.

If you have yet to read any of the other books in the Vendetta Brotherhood series I would highly recommend you start at the beginning to ensure you know and understand all the characters involved!! I would also recommend reading the Midnight series as a couple characters from that series are also included in this book.

Once again, CR Robertson has hit a home run with this book. Although, there is only 1 book left in this series I cannot wait to read it and see what series come next for this very talented author. I have tried to read all of her books, and with each one I read I fall in love with her writing a little bit more each time!!.

This is book five in The Vendetta Brotherhood series and it is Gabriel and Willow's story and omg it is definitely a must read. When Gabriel's parents were murdered seven years ago all he had left was his sister Gloria and then she was taken and now seven years later and Gabriel will do everything possible to find out where Darius who is now dead hid his sister so that he can rescue her and that is how they ended up in Cuba to check some places to see if she is there. Willow had no time of day or night or how long she had been in this place after she was taken from her life and placed in this dark, grey world. When Gabriel finds Willow she is in a bad way and couldn't even speak and she sees him as her guardian Angel and she wanted to stay close to him as he was the only one that she trusted. The chemistry and connection between Gabriel and Willow grows stronger the more time that they spend together but would they have a future together or is it just the situation that they find themselves in only time will tell what the outcome would be. Will they find Gabriel's sister Gloria and if they do what kind of condition will they find her in. This story takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and my heart broke with everything that they had all been through and you felt like you were living through it with them. I couldn't put this book down as it was a real page turner and so addictive and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

Gabriel & Willow’s was another addictive read. In his search to find his sister, Gloria, he ends up rescuing Willow. I loved how there’s a little bit of Davina in Willow! Gabriel tried to do right & give her time to heal, he wasn’t a good guy & wanted more for her, but did she care- nope! She wanted Gabriel & just as Davina did with Kris, Willow made the first move & claimed him. Willow went through hell, & was a shell of a person when Gabriel found her, but because of the strength, support & love he showed her Willow became much stronger in the end. I loved everything Gabriel did for her. I especially thought it was incredibly sweet how he watched YouTube videos on how to cut hair for her.
Just like the other books in the series, once I started reading I couldn’t stop. I’ve been dying to know what happened to Gloria, & it broke my heart to read what she endured. More & more is revealed about how sadistic Darius was & there’s still a lot to be revealed I think. I really want to read Kai & Gloria’s story, there’s so much more to them that I want to know! And I definitely want to see them get their HEA.

THIS BOOK IS SO EXQUISITELY INTENSE AND AN ALL-ENCOMPASSING LITERARY JOURNEY! The dark hero, Gabriel, is very believable as “The Angel of Death” but has a tumultuous balance within himself between light and darkness. However, the beautifully broken Willow sees the light in him and claims him as her “Avenging Angel” instead. Their connection completely moved me that it ran the gamut of the emotional spectrum. There isn’t a character in this book of The Vendetta Brotherhood series that isn’t completely viable to the story. I was entirely mesmerized by the depth of the characters. I believe this might just be this author’s best book yet.

Wow what an absolute amazing book, this story was beautifully written and the characters were unique. Gabriel and his sister lost their parents when they were young so Gabriel promised his mum he would keep an eye on her then he lost her. They were set up, all the women were kept in cages they were nothing but dollar signs tool's to be used. Willow was taken she was put in a cell on her own her owner paid a hefty amount, they can do what ever they want as long as her virginity is still intact. Gabriel took her to the compound and she would not let him go, she hid from him and now she wants him, after all the heart ache.

Gabriel was trapped in his life due to his missing sister. Only Darius knew where she was being held prisoner and he wasn’t telling so he could have Gabriel do his bidding. Once Darius is gone, they have to figure out his evil mind and what he has done to hide all these women. With his sister being his only family left, he will stop at nothing to get her back. What he doesn’t plan on is meeting someone while on one of these rescue missions.
I really like how CR has incorporated the characters from the Cuba series and the Midnight series. I hope there are more to come.

I think this is my favourite book so far, there is so much hope amidst all the violence and despair. Willow was so strong to survive and one can only hope Gloria and Kae find the same happiness. This is a story full of action from beginning to end and everyone plays an important role. Davina is essential to Willow and Gabriel’s relationship and Gabriel is so gentle and patient. There are many difficult moments, but there are also some very hot and some very sweet moments and the ending is perfect.

This is book 5 in the Vendetta Brotherhood. I have always had a soft spot for Gabriel. Watching your family being killed as a kid and turned into a coldhearted ruthless killer as he grew up. He saw himself as heartless and cold until a little slip of a girl that he rescued from a a cruel sadist turned his life upside down in the same intensity that he built hers up. A HEA is what both deserved and got.
The entire series so far is worth reading and reading again.

This is my favourite book so far, it pulled me in and held me gripped by all the action, angst, violence and despair. The well-developed characters all play important roles. Davina, Willow and Gabriel are so well-drawn.

So many difficult moments but the chemistry and connection between Gabriel and Willow keep growing deeper and stronger as they spend time together, but do they have a future together? I love Gabriel's patience and gentleness and as well as the darkness faced there are also some very sweet moments and I thought that the ending was perfect.

Gabriel as he searches for his sister Gloria who was taken by Darius rescues Willow. Willow feels safe with him, so she does what she can to stay with him. Can Willow and Gabriel both damaged by Darius heal each other? Love this slow burn romance with all the feels! CR Robertson's writing does not disappoint no matter the genre!

Very suspenseful and dark but I expected nothing less for this epic instalment. Gabriel & Willow coming together against all odds had my heart racing and stomach dropping at times. As far as dark Mafia Romance reads go this one tops the charts. Addictive reading continues with this series. Definitely some of C.R.Robertsons best writing to date.

Gabriel, as with the previous four books in The Vendetti Brotherhood series is absolutely fantastic. The beautifully broken Gabriel and Willow's relationship is intense and consuming. Their story is very emotional, dark, gritty and definitely not for the faint of heart but it's one story you don't want to miss.

More Bad Boys and Lovely Ladies
WOW! The three MMC of the second trilogy, Alexandro, Gabriel and Zachary, were introduced in the third book of Volume One: Kristian and the scene of the story moved to South America. These books read as one story that grips you by the throat and doesn’t let go until you read the words The End. Loved it.

**TRIGGER WARNINGS**

Each book in this series gets better and better! Although this story was pretty dark, Willow & Gabriel made the story incredibly easy to get through.
With an intensity that blows your mind and heart that brings out the sincerity that you wouldn't even know. Dark, thrilling and sexy. This book is a well written story
