Cami is in town with Tag, her boss/boyfriend, for a business deal. When Cami gets sick and the deal goes sideways, Cami quicky finds out is cheating on her. Henry and his brother were looking to sell of some land, but when Tag’s mistreated Cami, they pulled the deal.

Left alone, Henry takes care of Cami and soon realizes he does not want her to leave, even after realizing her secrets.


Broken – Emma and Maddox
Emma has had enough of her father's control, her fiancée cheat and her family drama. Maddox ran in to Emma and he knew things were not going to be the same. With Maddox by her side, gave Emma the strength to live her life.

A great fast story with a fierce character, I love how not only Emma, but also her sister take back control of their lives and Maddox makes all the right calls.

Filthy - Kayla and Denny
Kayla has become somewhat of a recluse after running away from her wedding and was trying to figure out what she wanted to do. She figured her ex would be trying to find her, so she avoided town as much as possible. When convinced to go on a blind date, Kayla showed up at the bar and found the guy wearing a Giants ball cap, but her ex also found her.

Denny was enjoying a beer when a beautiful woman came up to talk to him. Living in the mountain he did not come down often, but when she was being harassed, he did not stand by and watch, he stepped in front of her.

Filthy is intense fast story that starts with meeting the wrong man then when things heat up is only cooled off quickly by rumors and wrong information, the twist of the ex continuing to show and cause trouble will have you glued to your seat. Great story and perfect addition to the series.

Fearless – Abe and Izzy
Abe is a PI looking for a missing girl, when he walks into Rugged Mountain Ink. What he found in there was a fearless sassy woman that would match him stride for stride.

Bad--- - Reece and Hank
Reece came to Rugged Mountain to join the fire department, but after training she realized it was not what she wanted and soon found a place at the tattoo shop. Now with her sister, she plans to enjoy some quiet.

Hank came down from the mountains to help his brother. When he crosses path with Reece there is something he realizes that he needs to stay away but can't.

This is a great fast read with a splash of danger, family drama and heat that grabs you tight.

Passionate – Brianna and Nash
Brianna moved to Rugged Mountain to get away from her parents' judgement and to be closer to her sister when she found out she was pregnant. Now with a baby and a business that had been teetering in the red she is on edge with her parents want to visit.

Nash has the pizza restaurant across from Brianna's. He has wanted to speak to her but was not sure of her situation and was a bit shy. He happened to be in the store when her sister announced their parents' surprise visit. Nash heard the desperation in Brianna's voice and offer to help.

Another amazing fast story that steals your heart and has melting in your seat. Nash does an amazing job standing up to Brianna's parents, when at every turn they are looking down on him. swoon.


Striking – Julie and Maverick
Fun fast read with perfect amount heat and tension that grabs you from the start.

I love the push pull between Julie and Maverick. Julie is a determine woman with a stubborn streak, but when a dream of hers falls through she needs to get away. Maverick drawn to Julie, and his heart breaks with the understanding of her pain and comforts her.

There are twists and misunderstanding that will have you smiling as Julie and Maverick find their HEA.


Red, Hot, FIRE – Trevor and Syndey
Trevor is a fire fighter that was roped into doing the towns calendar buy his sister. When the pictures were posted online for voting, he finds himself is a forum talking with someone.

Syndey finds herself defending comment of the firemen pictures, when one of them messengers her is feels a connection, she has never felt. When chance puts them in the same town, she wants to meet up with him, but is hesitant.

Trevor is an older fireman and is looking for the excitement that has his heart racing, but meeting up with Syndey, he soon finds that what makes his heart race is the woman his is with.

Wow! This was an amazing start to the Rugged Mountains series. Henry met Cami at a meeting where she was ill and being treated badly by her boos/boyfriend. He rescued her and took care of her. He was a kind, loving, protective hero. He loved Cami so much and never wanted to let her go. Sweet, steamy, instalove story with a happy surprise. The HEA was beautiful

Broken

This book was fantastic! Maddox saw Emma outside a bar and knew straight away she was his one!! He helped her out of a dangerous situation and couldn’t stop thinking about her! Emma was infatuated with Maddox as soon as she saw him but was nervous to take things further. Maddox was loving, caring and supportive allowing Emma to grow and progress with her life. Wonderful hot, steamy love story. The HEA was beautiful. Amazing 5 star read .

Filthy

Absolutely loved this story!! Kayla had been hiding out since she left her awful fiancé. She was persuaded by a friend to go on a blind date. When she got to the bar she met Denny. I was love at first sight for them both. Their connection and chemistry was amazing and so hot!! When she discovered it was mistaken identity and he wasn’t her date and she was given false and disturbing information about him, she left. Denny wasn’t letting her go. He wanted her forever. When Kayla was in danger he protected her. They overcame the misunderstanding to a beautiful HEA. Hot, sweet and steamy 5 star romance!.

Fearless

Loved this story! Abe came to Rugged Mountain to pursue a lead in a missing persons case. He met Izzy and it was love at first sight. They fought and laughed. Their relationship was fun and caring. Izzy was a true crime addict and was desperate to solve the case and wasn’t letting Abe do it alone. Hilarious story with laugh out loud moments, some intrigue and suspense and a lot of love. Izzy and Abe were perfect together, their chemistry was amazing, they were everything the other didn’t know they needed. The HEA was amazing

Badass

This story had everything! Danger, intrigue, suspense, romance, love and chemistry! Absolutely loved it!
Hank and Reese met at the grocery store, he wanted her instantly but was in Rugged Mountain on a not entirely legal trip and didn’t want her dragged in to danger. When his truck broke down and Reese and he sister helped him out he didn’t realise the danger he had put them in until it was too late! Hank would protect Reese with his life, she was his forever. Hot, steamy with amazing chemistry, this was a wonderful well written romance with a fantastic HEA.

Passionate

Loved this story and love Rugged Mountain Ink!! Brianna’s parents were coming to visit and she’d told them she was married when she was really a single mother. In steps her hero, Nash, the crazy hot pizza shop owner. He had fallen for Brianna when she’d first arrived in Rugged Mountain months ago but was too nervous to talk to her, he wasn’t letting this opportunity pass him by. Sweet, steamy story with amazing chemistry between Nash and Brianna. He is everything she needs and will do anything to keep her forever. Really fun read with a beautiful HEA.

Striking

Julie is having a very bad day and needs some time to herself. Her best friend is worried and send Maverick to check on her. Their feelings for each other took them both by surprise, both had secrets and emotional baggage they made them unsure of their love. Once they opened up and trusted each other their lives were beautiful. So much love, romance and kindness. They were perfect for each other. Their chemistry was fantastic. The story was sweet, steamy and emotional. The HEA was beautiful.

Red, Hot, FIRE

Trevor and Sydney met online after he was talked into posing in a firefighter calendar by his sister. They connected instantly. When she was stranded in Pearl Springs they met up. Beautiful, instalove, age gap romance. Their chemistry was fantastic. The HEA was beautiful. .

Romancing the Silver Fox

This was a fabulous instalove story. Clover was at the Galentines getaway with 5 other romance author friends. She was having writers block and had a deadline. She met Atlas and had feelings for him instantly. He invited her to his ranch for inspiration for her book. Atlas was an older silver fox. He loved Clover and wanted forever with her. He was kind, caring, romantic and protective. Their relationship was hot, steamy and full of true love. The journey was wonderful to read and the HEA amazing.

Okay, I wouldn’t call these stories filthy by any stretch of the imagination. I mean I’ve read filthy and these are more like sweet instalove romances. All but the last occur in a town called Rugged Mountain.

Restless: Henry & Cami
Cami and her boyfriend Todd are going to make a presentation to promote expanding Rugged Mountain's tourist appeal. She has been ill all morning and manages to upchuck during the meeting. Henry cancels the meeting after he sees how Todd berates Cami and leaves her stranded. She spends the night at Henry's place and later they make a discovery that blows Todd completely out of the picture.

Broken: Maddox (Henry’s brother) & Emma
Instant attraction between the two but Emma already has a boyfriend handpicked by her father. Maddox manages to use the excuse of needing a haircut to see her again. She invites him as her plus one to her sister’s wedding where she and her sister call bullshit on their parent’s demands. She is swept off her feet when Maddox tells her that he wants a forever relationship.

Filthy: Denny & Kayla (Emma’s sister) (Wonder if this story will really be “filthy”) (Nope)
Kayla has taken up residence in a remote cabin since her runaway bride act. Izzy from the tattoo shop sets her up on a blind date which goes awry when Kayla hooks up with the wrong guy. Her jilted bridegroom makes a nuisance of himself which Denny manages to put a stop to. They reunite after clearing up a misunderstanding about Denny’s occupation.

Fearless: Abe & Izzy (from the tattoo shop)
I wouldn’t call Izzy fearless. Stupid, immature and thoughtless with irritating knee-jerk reactions is more like it. Abe is a private investigator looking for a missing teenager. Izzy watches way too much crime TV and insists that she can do a better job of finding the missing teen. Her impulsive actions normally would have dire consequences but of course she gets away with it. Abe (the idiot) finds it endearing.

How come all three twenty-something women in the last three stories are virgins? Wouldn’t that be like finding a needle in a haystack? Especially Izzy. The other two were sisters repressed by their parents but Izzy works in a tattoo parlor and I’d bet money she meets guys aplenty. Not only are these women virgins but willing to give it away almost immediately upon meeting the objects of their desire. The plots to these stories are becoming disturbingly similar to the point that the names change but everything else is pretty much the same (a la Hallmark movies)

Badass: Hank and Reese (missing teen from Fearless)
Reese convinces her visiting sister to go on an overnight camping trip. They find Hank with a broken down vehicle and offer him a ride. Hank is dropped off close to his brother's illegal mining expedition. Brother is paranoid and orders Hank to “take care of” the girls. Instead, Hank warns them and stays to protect them. Reese is a virgin (naturally) and gets frisky in a tent with Hank. Brother shows up and is disarmed by the trio. Sheriff is contacted and Hank and Reese finish what they’d started.

Passionate: Nash & Brianna (visiting sister in Badass)
Brianna decides to stay in Rugged Mountain and opens an organic tea shop. She has a baby from a friends with benefits relationship. Her parents announce they’re going to visit which puts her in panic mode. The next door pizza guy and Reese happen to be in her shop at the same time and Reese comes up with the brilliant idea of passing him off as Brianna’s husband. He agrees and they pretty much pull it off until her suspicious father starts nosing around. There’s a major confrontation and her parents leave in a huff. Nash declares his desire for a family. They have wild and crazy sex (at least Brianna’s not a virgin) and eventually marry.

Striking: Maverick & Julie (Brianna’s bestie)
Maverick gets a phone call in the middle of the night from Angie, another friend of Julie’s. She’s discovered that Julie is staying in a shit hole motel in Colorado Springs* for some unknown reason.** Maverick agrees to retrieve Julie, who is less than thrilled at his arrival. He takes her to his remote cabin to fulfill her desire to “get away from it all.”

Okay, time to point out a couple of glaring errors.
Julie: “I’m just going to clean up a little first.” ...I change out of my clothes and into one of my own t-shirts. After splashing cool water on my face and pulling back my hair...

Maverick: I remember Julie was in this same shower last night (No, she wasn’t)
...her nightgown tempting me with its low-cut seams (What happened to the t-shirt? Also, why would she be parading around in either a nightgown or t-shirt when Cody is in the house??

So after it seems that everybody and their mother have checked on Julie’s welfare they return to her cabin where she works on her speech as a candidate for Mayor. Maverick surprises her with an amazing reveal, they marry and she gets pregnant.

*Why does the author always refer to it as “up” to Colorado Springs? Wouldn’t they be coming “down” the mountain? Oh well, there’s lots of other errors so I guess I should let this one pass too.
**Julie is distraught at once again being thwarted in her attempt to adopt.

Red, Hot, Fire: Trevor & Sydney (works part-time at Emma’s hair salon)
Trevor is Mr. December in a Firefighter calendar. He and Sydney start chatting online about his picture. Sydney already has a long distance boyfriend. She and the boyfriend discover his local girlfriend at his apartment. They break up. It turns out Sydney just happens to be in the same town where Trevor lives. He offers to drive her home to Rugged Mountain where he coincidentally has an interview for a fire fighter position. They can’t even make it to her home before giving in to their lust (virgin, again) and HEA is guaranteed.

Romancing the Silver Fox: Atlas & Clover (no relation to previous characters/not Rugged Mt.)
Atlas is a 40 year old former rock star who gave up his career on the cusp of achieving fame and fortune to work at the family ranch. He plays and sings at a local hotel. Clover is a 25 year old romance writer with writer’s block. They meet at the hotel bar. She accepts his invitation to visit the ranch. There’s a nasty confrontation with Atlas’ brother who is trying to sell the ranch. Atlas seeks her out at the hotel and the rest is history,

Each of these books I have read and reviewed previously, with each being a 4 or 5 Star rating, so I am not going to rewrite my reviews here. Instead I am going to say that each of these stories was a fun, smexy hot and entertaining read. They are filled with wonderful characters, swooning H's, sweet and feisty h's, and romantic HEA's. This box set collection makes a wonderful addition to a personal library and one I would definitely RECOMMEND.

I gave up

Was definitely seeking the steamy romance, but was not seeking the lazy plots and impregnation fetish. It was a good idea to create a book about the different relationships within a small town and outline a new story in each new book. In this collection though, I found the sex scenes and stories too repetitive and none of the stories followed a realistic timeline. Within moments, the naive trauma laden female character falls for the ultra possessive macho man and gets married and knocked up. And that's it, over and over again. The story might have been good once, but by Mavericks story I was over it. I am surprised I read that far. I just hoped for ONE of them to have a fun twist.

These rough and tumble men are going to meet the young women who bring them to their knees. They can be read as standalones but tie together also. I enjoyed the characters and the way each couple had a special connection.

Not my thing, but...

If insta-love is your jam, this collection is for you. Insta-lust is believable, but love? However, the sex is steamy, and the stories are good. I would have liked it better if I hadn't read straight thru. If I get Book 2, I will only read one story at a time as a break between my "better" books. I probably will do that, because I did get invested in the characters.

You can fall fast😍

This collection of Rugged Mountain men, and their women is just so wonderful to read. You fall in love with the big guy from one story, and then the next one , you swear that he's much better. Truly they are all so amazing. Are there really men like this anymore. I want a man to be the strong protector, provider, and treats his woman like a Queen, because she treats him like her King. Read these books.

This is a great collection of 9 books that will keep you entertained. It was nice to be able to continue the books without having to wait fir them to come out. They can each be read as a standalone, but we're amazing all together.

If you like older guys, unrealistic bordering on unhinged (but admittedly sweet!) instalove with virgin girls ending HEA, these are a great quick binge. Characters are referenced between the stories but all could be read standalone. I wouldn't call any of these filthy, the spice is well written but relatively tame.

Great collection

This is a great collection of Insta love stories, based on characters in one town, Rugged Mountain. I loved the variety, the connections, and the sweet steamy love. Definitely recommend. Borrowed with kindle unlimited.
