No updates. No communication with the author. Like you get a grand slam of a book then disappear. It's you want to be an author or you don't.I'm sorry..even if you are sick dedicated authors with say they are bc they care about their readers. She could have been great. But she's not realiable

I'm sick and tired of waiting on this book, I feel like if the author doesn't want to write the book then maybe she should get Another author to write the second book. That is my opinion I'm pretty mad cause I've Waited Almost 2 yrs. for the second book I'm so mad. I feel like i have been waiting forever and its never going to be released or finished

Are you kidding me? I’ve been waiting forever for this damn book and nada. Not anything. A damn ghost town of a string of lies about release dates for it to never happen. Just post something saying that you aren’t going to release the rest of the series. Have dignity as an author and be transparent with your readers because this is just becoming too annoying. I keep checking to see for updates and nothing ever. I’m so annoyed by this.

So I take it from what I’ve read and seen we just won’t be getting a second book? I mean I get it can be hard to write, and so much goes into it. But with how the first went I feel it’s hard to leave us in such a huge cliff hanger for 3 years. Kind of a disappointment that this didn’t at least have some sort of ending.

Been waiting for this book for 2 years. Two years of constant release push back dates.
I'm so mad and disappointed.
I've also read of the constant bullying... That's unacceptable.

And stop giving 5 stars to unreleased books. It's not out what are you judging? I don't understand.

I read the first book in the beginning of the year the release date has changed several times with no reason why. I don't do unfinished book series and I was really looking forward to this book. At this point I don't know if it will ever get released. So beware if you want to read Laces. At this point I will not support this author I know things happen and she's sick but just say that don't make a release date (more than once) and then take it down with no communication!

After over a year long wait since the first release date cancellation, I’m starting to believe that this book is nowhere near finished. Tempi may genuinely have Ill health but cancelling a release on the day or within 24 hours of release due to health reasons implies that it isn’t ready to be released at all. I’ve been an avid follower for quite some time and have been patiently waiting since the first release was cancelled but it just appears there’s a bit of a pattern going on. It’s been over a year of hyping up release dates (4+ of them) just for them to be cancelled last second. I think it’s time I abandon this one.

If I could give it 0 I would. The date has been pushed back so many times with lame excuses as to why. The author is very careless about her fans and making them wait. This book was supposed to be released 3 years ago and it's been put off every 3-6 months repeatedly. It was finally put kn preorder about 4 months ago and then just taken off of amazon altogether and there have been absolutely zero updates from the author other than her arguing with random people. I give up on waiting for this book. This author doesn't even deserve the recognition or time from her readers at all with all of the disrespectful comments she has made. I wont be reading when and if it ever does come out.

After waiting for 3 years on this book to come out, I am very disappointed in the author posting release dates multiple times just to have her remove it days before the release. The author does not need to be posting this book on social media since the publish date has been removed repeatedly for 3 years. This is a big let down since the first book ends on a cliff hanger. This could have been an amazing series but, again it has no actual release date without being removed and no communication to readers.

I have given up ALL hope of this book ever being finished. She's also turned off all comments on her tiktok so you can't even ask anything about it. With the constant release push back dates and what feels like excuses, I'd suggest just finding another series of a similar setting. After two years, any want to continue is pretty much gone. Read the first book if you want a disappointing cliffhanger that will most likely never be finished.

I told myself I would not pre order because I know in the past she has pushed the date back so much. I saw that the release on Kindle unlimited was super close so I said screw it and pre ordered only to see she just posted that the book will not make the deadline again with no new release date. I also noticed she is hiding her comments. It says 30 comments on the post but is only showing about 5 positive responses.
