Clint Earley: Long Ridin’ Man: Gunfight In California: A Western Adventure
The fifth book in an exciting new action-packed Western series from C. Wayne Winkle!
After hunting down and killing most of the gang who raped and killed his wife, Clint Earley finds himself at a stone wall. The two gang members left, Mathias Rule and Cain Tannehill, are nowhere to be found. He doesn’t even know where to start looking.
So he decides to return to California to try to find Nina Ashmore. Hopefully she is still on the Applegate Trail east of Sacramento. And, also hopefully, she’s not married.
There are many trials and tribulations on the way for Earley, not the least of which is Cain Tannehill. Mathias Rule has set him on the trail of Earley with orders to kill him.
And Rule is following to make sure the deed is done.

Outstanding series of ongoing western folklore adventures, and the dangers facing everyone!
Great five star extravaganza of one exciting episode after the other! The perseverance of the good guys and the compassionate camaraderie of those who seek justice for those responsible for their wrongful misdeeds! Clint, joined by an Army scout, continues his trek across the great western frontier, but not without enduring several setbacks along the way!
Outstandingly compassionately motivated storylines throughout this compelling series of ongoing western gunfighting excursions that successfully maintains anyone's undivided attention from beginning to end! Too, the character selections were unsurpassed in their commanding assignments, as both the good guys, and the bad guys, pulls no punches in their quest to satisfy their whims of the moment!
Most definitely recommend this compassionately motivated, and sometimes heartwarming, episodes of ongoing gunfighting episodes! You non-western enthusiasts will find yourselves completely entertained following this dedicated young man, and his associate, as they continuously overcome one obstacle after the other in their quest for justice!!!😃

Steal a horse, then steal another, and another . . .
Caine Tannehill please stop stealing horses and killing people! This went on and on. Still a great story. I really liked the new guy Solomon Hughes. Love it when a good side kick is a black man or an Indian! I did think it was funny that Tannehill had to swap and steal so many horses and kill so many people and steal supplies when his boss was following behind and didn’t seem to need any of those things. One left.

It only gets better
Another chapter down the road and the action still dominates the tale. Great writing equal enjoyable reading and this author knows how to write. Looking forward to the next installment.

Incredibly good series!
Sometimes you find a book that you say it can't get any better than this one, well this author wins in my book! I don't want them to end but I can't wait for the next one!

Gunfight
Another good read, glad though they got out of the desert, was starting to get a bit predictable. Will see what you have next.
