The Forbidden Barrows

Rate this book
Things in the Vale of Dreams are... complicated. Anpu has tasked our intrepid heroes with recovering the next piece of the Devourer from the depths of the Forbidden Barrows, but entry to the dungeon is heavily regulated.

With a major player guild gatekeeping most of the quests necessary to earn enough reputation to gain an audience with the elven priests promised to assist in their venture, it's going to be a hell of a time.

Sun, sea, and sea monsters!

Honestly, the dungeon diving was awesome, the various gods and creatures, and the game itself? Bloody brilliant.

If you love rpgs, you’ll love this, brought back serious nostalgia along with a deep seated hope that VR gets it’s act together soon!

Granny ftw!

Granny admittedly cracked me up, she was the comic relief highlight. Even if I was groaning at how exaggerated she was. Loved the adventure, and snacking some aholes! I’m really enjoying how the story is progressing, and can’t wait for the next book! Hopefully our boy can get some new damage spells then, cause after this one he needs the variety. As always I enjoyed the character interactions as well as the plot and action. Also got to see the in game gods interact, which was quite interesting. Oh! And the Jedi? Cracked me up!
