Forcing Hafez into English meter & rhyme maks for terrible, stilted translations. Blank verse works far better. However, the cultural & spiritual context here is great.

I enjoyed everything about this book other than the translation itself. I find forced rhyming off-putting, so couldn't get past one full page of it.
