You Can't Go Home Again Henry Brewer's life has fallen to pieces. His NFL dreams disappeared years ago and now so has his life in the NYPD, along with his soon-to-be ex-wife. Forced to return to the small West Virginian town he grew up in, Henry comes face to face with his past, seeing it through the eyes of an adult. As if this wasn't hard enough, he must figure out who he is now and what he wants at the same time.
Is it possible to reinvent yourself as an adult around the people who knew you as a child?
Travis writes science fiction, fantasy, and thriller novels (and the occasional coming-of-age story), with the hope of transporting and enthralling readers. Publishing novels since 2015, Travis’s passion is creating worlds and characters that live and breathe, and experiencing the joy of those stories with his readers.
When not writing, Travis enjoys connecting with readers and other writers, managing the popular Complete Marvel Reading Order website, where he works on his other passion for comics and graphic novels, and spending time with his family.
The first few pages could have been a biography of my earlier life, cop married to nurse cheating on him. But I stuck with the book and enjoyed the read. Some of the elements were predictable, but read enough, and you learn plot points. An interesting read worth a few hours of your time.
Very sweet, sad, fulfilling story that is well written and keeps you interested for the entire book.Need a feel good book to read? This is it.But it's not Put-Put, it's Putt-Putt
Travis has a positive view of small towns, and their people. He writes about the good things that national news never sees. This is a great summer read.
