I’ve always been curious about the psychic side of people. I also wanted to understand it better and see if that is a hidden sense I might be able to unlock within myself. Although that remains to be unseen at this point, I did find this book highly informative and it answered any questions I had.

This book is set up like a guide on how to awaken your psychic ability and breaks down each category of psychic levels and how to help strengthen the bond.

I love science and and very intrigued with the spiritual side of things and I appreciated this book explained from both perspectives.

If your curious about this stuff or feel you have psychic ability but want to develop it, this book is for you.

Awakening Your Psychic Ability: A Practical Guide to Develop Your Intuition, Demystify the Spiritual World, and Open Your Psychic Senses by Lisa Campion is a well written guide to tapping into the psychic world. This book mainly focuses on the author's experiences and research and is very anecdotal. She dispels some of the myths portrayed by various media, but a lot of the information provided is personal experiences. There seems to be a fine line between visions and mental illness and I appreciate that the author discusses this. She discusses the various psychic realms and the tools one can use. She breaks down the various psychic levels and discusses how one can go about accessing and strengthening these. I don't think any real scientific evidence is provided and a lot of it sounds as if it is more of becoming aware of our inner voices and intuition through various forms of meditation. She discusses spiritual guides and ways of opening up to these, again through meditation. Overall, although it is interesting and provides some good advice, I am not sure that it really provided evidence of the psychic world, as there are other explanations and a lot of her evidence was anecdotal. As she states, not all predictions are accurate and a lot is left to interpretation, but I can see that the book may appeal to those looking for answers, but I'm not sure that they are provided.

This was an excellent book. It describes the psychic abilities of various depths and how to connect all while protecting yourself from such. It had excellent illustrations, examples, and stories throughout. I thought it flowed well, was easy to read, and was informative for anyone wanting to learn more about this topic. I would say that I am above average when it comes to this subject and I still learned a lot from this.

Awakening Your Psychic Ability by Lisa Campion is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to understand or experience their own psychic intuition. Campion creates a step-by-step rulebook of sorts, consisting of actionable steps and meditations designed to assist the reader in understanding and experiencing elements of the metaphysical while also weaving her personal story along the way.

As someone who has become more spiritual within the last two years, I have found this book to be one I come back to for particular meditations or lessons that are applicable to me along my own journey. While supplying applicable meditations in written form, Campion also directs readers to the same meditations in audio form, something I use regularly. I highly recommend this asset for anyone who is interested in addressing their own spiritual gifts whether experienced or just beginning.

Lisa Campion is one of my favorite voices in the world of spiritual development. There is something about her ability to bridge the lofty ethers with the grounded everyday that really speaks to me. I have read and reread her first book The Art of Psychic Reiki and was so excited to receive a copy of this new books. It does not disappoint! Working through the book, I found myself opening to possibilities and strengthening my intuition with ease and wonder. Lisa’s voice is so grounded and authentic, the subject feels accessible in a way that I find refreshing.

I highly recommend Awakening Your Psychic Ability to anyone interested in spiritual growth.

So, instead of leaving a 3 page long review on how this book tied to my own experience and is good for everyone from the novice to the reconstructionalist. Even for those in spiritual warfare.

I will be giving you guys one personal tip per chapter and at least one or more book recommendations (not all chapters) to advance the chapters field of study in the esoteric world.

CHAPTERS
0. Tip: Shadow Work 🙂 Do It.
Book Rec: The Shadow Work Journal by Keila Shaheen @zenfulnote and The Miracle Journal: A Manifestation Journal
1. Tip: Boundaries as said in the chapter but also ties HEAVILY into your Spiritual Awareness and will naturally protect and banish ill intended energy.
Book Rec: Energy Magick of the Vampyre by Don Webb [whether you practice vampirism or not this is a must read for energy work]
2. Tip: Control your amygdala and build empathy in the most creative and/or niche scientific way possible. After all mysticism is just a lot of chemistry and psychology.
Book Rec: The Soul Also Keeps The Score by Robert W. McChesney and Escoteric Empath by Raven Digitalis; you can gain empathy by simply reading any teen book honestly
3. Tip: Build up and advance your strengths first than your other psychic skills will be easier to channel in especially downloads from spirits. Even better if you do your strongest skill first two others tend to follow shortly afterwards naturally.

4. Tip: Don't ignore your 1st thought. If its uncomfortable ask is this my shadow or is it a needed download from my spirit team/ higher self or a projection from evil eye. You can tell when its from another individual after ex.(rare) It's a desire you wouldn't even find yourself doing ex. You don't drink alcohol but suddenly you have a taste for it

5. Tip: If they tell you to do something you do it. You are 8 years old you are not an adult. Literally to them. You are 8 years old not 13 - 60(+) years old not in spirit, at least with them you will be heard. And respect goes both ways. And no not all elder spirit guides (devians) operate the same way and their worlds is more different than ours but is like a mirror.
6. Tip: There are rules ask for a tour guide before you go. Never alone. Ex. Hell or in St.Michael terms don't go they got roaches.
7. Tip: Your Chi can heal yourself first. In chinese culture there is Hun and Po parts of a soul. Hun ascends or descends based on their life actions to fulfill or ignore their spiritual contracts. Po on the other hand stays behind to guard the body and see to any untied ends get meet such as a will or family business. What i am trying to say is your Energy (chi) tells spirits what you are willing to do for yourself and others while your here. If you are not willing to do it within the rights. Than they won't do it for you that includes healing yourself and others because you refuse your own self care. Not putting in time for a job, so no reward let alone a flourishing.
8. Tip: Why stop at fae? Let alone one fae ethnicity. Depending on your region there can be other spirits to with the elements. Do your research you don't always have to work with fae. Or spirits but always energy. There are other elemental spirits and energy out there. Work with what you are called to in middle earth. There are Djinns, dragons and unicorns even more out there.
9. Tip: A real ghost hunter knows there are a variety of ghost and danger levels. Some are chill and just wish ghost hunters leave a chocolate bar or two than spray holy water. Likely protect foundations and/or people. And others such as collectors are not ghost but collect ghost to haunt foundations. Discernment is key here and don't forget there are rules. They can haunt you if you don't abide by the rules. Know when to be a medium and when to be an exorcist or hire one.

10.Tip: Ancestor Veneration is VERY VERY important. Don't sit up here and not do the work. No worries your not required to work with that one weird uncle. Tell him to piss off. If they die ill minded they likely still are. Their Po is still here most likely. And their Hun is desended. Yes, you can work with ancestors who are in torment. They either do it willingly or to knock off their sentence a peg or two. Your ancestor contracts are way more important than any other contract but shouldn't over shadow devian voices. Especially House Devians.
11.Tip: Ascended Masters and Angels especially Archangels [more than 20]. Are very picky like Source. If they don't pick you it means one out of 2 things. 1. you don't have a spiritual contract that is connected to Source and thats okay. And 2. You need to work on your shadow and inner child. Infernals on the other hand work with anyone but not everyone can have their best and divine epithets. After all Infernals and Archangel are both angels but on different frequencies. Demons are residents of hell and with no history of working with Source.
Conclusion. Tip: A casual routine will prevent you from becoming a victim to energy vampires and deflect away from the horse race thus do what you are passionate about. Most times in this line of work and lifestyle, many of your problems can be solved by incorporating your intentions into your daily routine; I do spellwork because I am passionate about it not because I have to a fyi thus many others who do their Shadow Work. And being bold and honest about your boundaries. No matter what.

“I absolutely loved Awakening your psychic abilities by Lisa Campion. This book was not only incredibly educational, but it was also a joy to read.

One of the things I appreciated the most about this book was how Lisa Campion structured it. Each chapter felt like a mini-course, and I loved the fact that I could follow along and do the lessons at my own pace. It made the learning process so much more enjoyable.

Another aspect of the book that I really enjoyed were the relatable stories shared by the author and her students. These personal anecdotes added depth and authenticity to the concepts being discussed, making it easier for me to connect and understand the material.

But what truly impressed me was how helpful and informative this book was. Lisa Campion has a way of explaining complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, making it easy for anyone to grasp the concepts and apply them in their own lives.

Overall, I cannot recommend "Awakening your psychic abilities" enough. It is a five-star book in my opinion. Whether you're a beginner or someone more experienced in the subject, this book has something for everyone. So, if you're looking to explore and enhance your psychic abilities, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this gem. You won't be disappointed!”

I've always felt like I've had heightened intuition and an interest in those who proclaimed to be psychic. I was curious to read a book of someone who says their psychic and learn about how they saw spiritualism and developed the skills they claim to have. I find this to be in line with what a lot of other psychics have said about universal spiritualism and their own abilities. Believer or not, this book is interesting and holds tools to develop skills of mindfulness and intuition. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in or questioning the possibility of psychic ability, and encourage those who disbelieve to explore something new and outside their comfort zone.

A fundamental book on opening yourself up to higher surroundings. A focus on centering, grounding, and a lot of focus on protection and finding your own way. It leaves a lot to interpretation and your own intuition. If you have a lack of intuition I would look at this as a stage 2 book.
