I’ve always been curious about the psychic side of people. I also wanted to understand it better and see if that is a hidden sense I might be able to unlock within myself. Although that remains to be unseen at this point, I did find this book highly informative and it answered any questions I had.

This book is set up like a guide on how to awaken your psychic ability and breaks down each category of psychic levels and how to help strengthen the bond.

I love science and and very intrigued with the spiritual side of things and I appreciated this book explained from both perspectives.

If your curious about this stuff or feel you have psychic ability but want to develop it, this book is for you.

Awakening Your Psychic Ability: A Practical Guide to Develop Your Intuition, Demystify the Spiritual World, and Open Your Psychic Senses by Lisa Campion is a well written guide to tapping into the psychic world. This book mainly focuses on the author's experiences and research and is very anecdotal. She dispels some of the myths portrayed by various media, but a lot of the information provided is personal experiences. There seems to be a fine line between visions and mental illness and I appreciate that the author discusses this. She discusses the various psychic realms and the tools one can use. She breaks down the various psychic levels and discusses how one can go about accessing and strengthening these. I don't think any real scientific evidence is provided and a lot of it sounds as if it is more of becoming aware of our inner voices and intuition through various forms of meditation. She discusses spiritual guides and ways of opening up to these, again through meditation. Overall, although it is interesting and provides some good advice, I am not sure that it really provided evidence of the psychic world, as there are other explanations and a lot of her evidence was anecdotal. As she states, not all predictions are accurate and a lot is left to interpretation, but I can see that the book may appeal to those looking for answers, but I'm not sure that they are provided.

This was an excellent book. It describes the psychic abilities of various depths and how to connect all while protecting yourself from such. It had excellent illustrations, examples, and stories throughout. I thought it flowed well, was easy to read, and was informative for anyone wanting to learn more about this topic. I would say that I am above average when it comes to this subject and I still learned a lot from this.

Awakening Your Psychic Ability by Lisa Campion is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to understand or experience their own psychic intuition. Campion creates a step-by-step rulebook of sorts, consisting of actionable steps and meditations designed to assist the reader in understanding and experiencing elements of the metaphysical while also weaving her personal story along the way.

As someone who has become more spiritual within the last two years, I have found this book to be one I come back to for particular meditations or lessons that are applicable to me along my own journey. While supplying applicable meditations in written form, Campion also directs readers to the same meditations in audio form, something I use regularly. I highly recommend this asset for anyone who is interested in addressing their own spiritual gifts whether experienced or just beginning.

Lisa Campion is one of my favorite voices in the world of spiritual development. There is something about her ability to bridge the lofty ethers with the grounded everyday that really speaks to me. I have read and reread her first book The Art of Psychic Reiki and was so excited to receive a copy of this new books. It does not disappoint! Working through the book, I found myself opening to possibilities and strengthening my intuition with ease and wonder. Lisa’s voice is so grounded and authentic, the subject feels accessible in a way that I find refreshing.

I highly recommend Awakening Your Psychic Ability to anyone interested in spiritual growth.

It's quite difficult to rate books on developing one's psychic abilities because as an "outsider," I'm not in the best position to evaluate whether or not the information is accurate and if psychic capabilities do in fact exist, then it could takes years or more of deliberate effort if you're not born with it.

Fine by me; I'm open-minded, have had weird experiences of my own (not necessarily psychic-related but immaterial), and like playing mind games with myself when I should be working.

But commonly when I am watching videos or reading books that approach this subject, it feels like basically the main gist of developing these "psychic abilities" is meditating to clear your mind of your analytical, categorizing brain to allow it to open up to different "energy frequencies" without expectations/preconceptions that may misinterpret or block out ethereal information. So the how-to portion of these types of guides really boil down to this one instruction: Open your mind and let the other-worldly information drop in. However, it's not clear to me what is psychic insight and what is my imagination, and this book hints that usually your first impression can be trusted, it's your "gut," and things that come from outside of your mind usually feel different and are not emotionally charged but are more "matter of fact"... but as someone with ADHD, I am very aware of just how easily my brain can conjure up imagery/daydreams that seem to match.

In addition to talking about psychic abilities and offering guided meditations that may try to focus on certain experiences (like connecting with trees or your spirit guides), the author also provides some general new age/spirituality information that I am new to and still learning about, like the different types of spiritual planes and beings, bad spirits, etc. I am still skeptical of all of this, but it's interesting nonetheless.

“I absolutely loved Awakening your psychic abilities by Lisa Campion. This book was not only incredibly educational, but it was also a joy to read.

One of the things I appreciated the most about this book was how Lisa Campion structured it. Each chapter felt like a mini-course, and I loved the fact that I could follow along and do the lessons at my own pace. It made the learning process so much more enjoyable.

Another aspect of the book that I really enjoyed were the relatable stories shared by the author and her students. These personal anecdotes added depth and authenticity to the concepts being discussed, making it easier for me to connect and understand the material.

But what truly impressed me was how helpful and informative this book was. Lisa Campion has a way of explaining complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, making it easy for anyone to grasp the concepts and apply them in their own lives.

Overall, I cannot recommend "Awakening your psychic abilities" enough. It is a five-star book in my opinion. Whether you're a beginner or someone more experienced in the subject, this book has something for everyone. So, if you're looking to explore and enhance your psychic abilities, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this gem. You won't be disappointed!”

I've always felt like I've had heightened intuition and an interest in those who proclaimed to be psychic. I was curious to read a book of someone who says their psychic and learn about how they saw spiritualism and developed the skills they claim to have. I find this to be in line with what a lot of other psychics have said about universal spiritualism and their own abilities. Believer or not, this book is interesting and holds tools to develop skills of mindfulness and intuition. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in or questioning the possibility of psychic ability, and encourage those who disbelieve to explore something new and outside their comfort zone.
