As a promise to her grandmother, all Gianna wants is to make good grades and graduate from college. After the murder of her boyfriend, she wonders if that’s even possible. But by working hard, she manages to push through and excels in her classes.

A real one
This was a great read. Who knew that the professor was so unhinged. That goes to show you that you can think you know someone but really don't. I was sad when mawmaw died but I'm glad she laid the foundation down for a lifetime blessing. She might have left this earthly world but she left her baby girl with a man she knew would be all she needed. I hope people reading this knows that every choice you make has a consequence no matter good or bad. Follow your first mind it might just save your life. I love to read a book that has a great storyline that's relatable to what happens in real life. Awesome job can't wait until your next read

A Real One...
This book had me on edge for a minute but it turned around. Jonas had me giving him the side eye & as the story progressed I was telling Gianna to RUN!!! I cant believe the things he did with no conscious or thought of being caught! I hate the way that her & Dimitri got together but I'm sure her Maw Maw was smiling from ear to ear. Everything with them seemed to happen so fast. Gianna may have been emotional and it took her a lil time to stop being rude but Dimitri was determined to show her what a real one was...& I loved it!! Good job again Lady Lissa!

Stand Alone
Kudos for the standalone! Although I didn't like the actions of the professor or the young girls he took advantage of, it felt realistic that a young girl on her own for the first time could fall for a wolf in sheep's clothing. The professor got just what he deserved. I love a happy ending but can young ladies get to know a person first before spreading her legs? UGH.
I loved the subplots which felt different for a LL read. Some errors, but overall, an attention grabbing, fast paced read.

LOVED IT
I really enjoyed this book. Kept my attention from beginning to end. Gianna was a determined college student but one wrong decision had turned her life upside down. I believe Maw Maw was the guardian angel she needed to get her through and she also put Dimitri in her life. He was definitely the better man she needed. Jonas was something else on that college campus but he got exactly what he deserved and I believe he still didn't see how wrong he was. Obsession will do that to a person. Overall a great read I highly recommend reading.

Latavia Thoughts
Ooh Wee I felt so bad for Gianna she lost her grandma then she started seeing Jonas true colors she knew sleeping with her professor was a bad idea but him getting in to deep is what she couldn't handle killing his ex ,divorcing his wife ,and killing a realtor then Kidnapping Gianna he was doing too much he needed to be in jail because he snapped, I'm so happy Gianna met Dimitri they were meant too be married and have their twins!!

Drama & Bad decisions
Gianna went from one crazy relationship to another. She never knew all the drama & trauma she would suffer from sleeping with the wrong man. Luckily her grandma always had her back & was playing matchmaker. Hold your breath as Gianna & a few other ladies go down a dangerous path for choosing the wrong, charming man. Lady Lissa always brings the entertainment & drama in all her books. Enjoyed it!

Loved it! Dimitri was definitely a real one. Maw Maw talked life into his and Gianni’s relationship and they were introduced the day that she had a stroke. Although she didn’t make it to see their love come to fruition, they never left each other’s side after their initial meeting. Professor Jonas was definitely unhinged and he got just what he deserved. This book was well written, flowed well, kept my attention and I enjoyed reading it. Lady Lissa never fails to wow me.

So glad Gianna and Dimitri were able to get their happily ever after even though it had to happen with tragedy in the beginning! Jonas was crazy and I'm glad he can't hurt anyone else. He really needs some mental help! This book hits on the realness of what is really happening in society and it's really a shame!

Wow!
The storyline for this book flow freely. I just can’t with Jonas! His level of crazy went beyond insane. Gigi was a determined young lady. She realized her mistake and immediately distanced herself from it. Thank God for the Big Mamas and Maw Maw of the family. Gigi got her man! Great job Lady Lisa. You never disappoint. Another five stars!!

Loved it must read…
I loved this book had just enough to keep me to the point I had to finish it in a few hours. Jonas was crazy and cocky but it caught up with him. I cried at one point though. Gianna was wishing she didn’t get with Jonas the loving she was getting had her nose wide open. This was a great read of course I wanted more always do with Lady Lissa books.

Once again my fav has delivered! I'm never disappointed when Lady Lissa drops a book. She definitely knows how to tell a story. I loved the chemistry between Gianna and Dimitri. Man......Jonas was a trip!! As always Lady Lissa has done it again. bringing true issues to the fore front..But I cant believe , yes i could..Maw Maw definitely had a plan in place. Her Gigi and Dermitri worked better than anyone could have imagined..Cheryl ended being having the best after all. So crazy
A good read with interesting characters. The drama isn't coming from the baby mama. It's coming from the crazy, married professor. Not only is he crazy, he is also so full of himself. Since he can't have his way, he does everything he wants trying to get it. I definitely enjoyed this story.

REAL ❤️
Good reading,great story! I didn't like killing the real estate agent off & all this happened in his cousin's house but nothing else was said about him made this part a bit unbelievable 🤔.
Other than that I absolutely loved it & I still think it's five star worthy.If your looking for a good read ,give this a try!

a must read
Love conquers all love is kind and patient it comes at the right time I’m glad Dimtritti was able to find happiness with Gianna she definitely deserved it especially after being with someone like Joan’s I’m glad he is locked away and can’t hurt no one else this book is definitely a must read

Jonas was definitely a piece of work. This man was so delusional that every time he opened his month I was amazed at how out of touch with reality he really was. I was happy that Gianna was able to escape him and sorry that Tanya, her unborn baby and Courtney had to pay with their lives for his despicable behavior.

I didn’t think Jonas was that crazy and had been through so many of his students. Gianna was special I guess because Jonas crazy really came out. I’m glad Maw Maw had told her about Dimitri and he came in her life when he did because no telling what Jonas what have did for love! Good read
