I don’t know where to start, so I’ll just say that I loved this book and I can’t wait for book three! This book & edit are special, bc it’s for one of my fav ppl out here. Meg, my west coast gal, I’m so proud of you & thank you for sharing your book with me and the world. Aria & pretty boy Damon have inked their way to my heart & I will third-wheel w/ them in heart beat to go get Mario’s pizza 💓

my babies!!!! i love this book but i have a feeling im gonna like christian and robyn’s book the best. also i love the little plot twist about dean in this cause yea i kinda had a feeling that it was gonna be him but it was till really interesting to read about. and the angst had my stomach turning and flipping and butterflies and everything

This one is a Mafia romance. That's all I'm going to say. The end. Not convinced? Okay fine.
It took me less than two minutes to fall in love with Damon Hale. He's my first love when it comes to the Kings of New York series. He was such a wonderful character. The mf definition of boy obsessed. It's no secret that I love badass motherf*ckers with a softie side and that's the perfect way to describe him. And he's an amazing cook, y'all. Please... I'm weak. 🧎🏻♀️
I related a lot to Ariadne. So my feelings were all over the place while I was reading. She was such a misunderstood character. But I think that made her even more special to me. Her kindness & spitfire personality were remarkable. She's the kinda woman you look up to, the kind you wanna be. Also, she shares birthday with my favorite person so... She honestly can't get more amazing than that.
Two words to describe this book would be "Mutual Pining". There was SOOO much of it. Damon was OBSESSED with Aria. He literally worshiped the ground that woman walked on. And she was so clueless. It was the cutest thing ever. And their banter? Ohmygosh. *chef kiss* These two are soulmates and there was no doubt that they were meant to be. They gravitated towards each other even when they were being stubborn idiots fighting their feelings 😤
ANYWAY, get yourself a man who doesn't want to change any part of you. Who only has eyes for you(unfortunately no mob bosses *sigh*). The way Damon loved Aria made me so emotional. The kind of love we all deserve. The king of the underworld and his princess. I'll hold them dear to my heart forever and ever. *swoon* 💜🌹

A mafia romance unlike any I’ve ever read and I’ve read plenty. The originality of the premise might’ve been my favorite part— ok no, it was definitely Damon Hale but still.
Broken, tragic, jaded heroes who believe they can never be loved because of the trauma they’ve been forced to endure or the rough backgrounds they’ve experienced has always been my type of fictional men. But I have been DESPERATE to read a story about a dark and dangerous man who grew up in a relatively loving and happy home and still serves me all the ice-cold, dark-hearted, alpha-sexiness of my favorite fictional heroes.
Enter Damon Hale, New York’s most feared mobster who can inflict pain and pleasure all in one swoop but has only ever let himself obsess over one woman. A woman who would never look twice at him in the past but Ariadne Ryder never looks twice at any man because she’s an ice-cold, lethally-focused, impenetrable badass of a doctor. The most relatable heroine I’ve ever read because she puts into words everything I’ve ever felt myself. She’s like my fictional soul sister and the perfect match for my fictional dream man. Together, Damon and Ariadne are the power couple dominating my heart all thanks to Meg giving them the story I have always craved but could never find!
I’ve said it before but Ariadne is literally me- like in all forms. I adore that woman and everything she’s stood strong through. So different from the rest of the Ryder clan and yet that’s the one thing that drew deadly Damon Hale in. While the rest of the world tried to mold her into the princess they wanted, Damon only ever wanted her to reign as the princess she already was.
Their relationship growth was perfection. From straight-up ignoring each other to weekly dinners and mutual (burning!) attraction, these two slip into seduction and then love. It was an honor watching them navigate all these obstacles together and they both deserve all the love and happiness that they get in the end.
If you want superior found family, huge angst teasers, a dangerous man soft for one woman only, and an icy princess with unmatched regal beauty inside and out- you need to read Princess (by MReads99 on Wattpad)!
