Another fantastic installment of the Frostfall Island series! I’m so in love with this setting that is both cozy and a little ominous, which works perfectly for a cozy murder mystery. The quirky characters make me laugh so much and I’m thoroughly enjoying the twists and turns the various relationships are taking while being slightly stressed that things will go horribly wrong at any time!

Just when things are going so well, a killer strikes! Things on Frost Island have been going along fantastic at the B&B, Anna and Nate’s relationship is slowly moving to the next level, Charlotte has a new rich beau and there’s a hockey tournament in town. When Charlotte’s new rich beau fails to show at the hockey game, he is found murdered at his home. Plus news that serial killer PTK has struck again may have brought the budding romance between Anna and Nate to a halt.

With a bumbling detective sure to arrest the wrong suspect, Anna is once again tapped to investigate the murder even as she navigates the new numbs in her relationship with Nate. And was her husband Michael really lost at sea?

London Lovett has done it again with “Ice Cold Killer.” This time Anna and Nate’s budding friendship is moving closer to an actual relationship. Especially when they are dancing together at the local dance. Of course that was before Nate heard of the latest Pillow Talk (PTK) serial killer’s victim.

There is a big hockey tournament in town and people are starting to flood the island including the ex wife of the man, Anna’s sister, Cora is dating. When he goes missing and found dead by Cora, Anna knows she has to solve the crime before the local police idiot, Detective Norwich gets involved. His laziness makes him less than the brightest bulb in the room.

As Anna runs around trying to understand the complications in her relationship with Nate as well as determine the suspects of the murder and interview them, other attacks are happening. Who is responsible, is PTK in the island and most importantly why does Anna keep getting vibes about her deceased husband, Michael?

Well. That’s you need to read this latest installment in the Frost Fall Island series. There’s a lot of fun characters, subterfuge and fun. Now it’s time for the next one.

I loved this third cozy mystery, Ice Cold Killer in Frostfall Island Mystery series! In this book several people are on the island for the annual winter hockey tournament. Things may be cold on Frostfall Island, but things begin to heat up when during the hockey game someone is murdered in their home.
Unfortunately, the island detective arrests the wrong person and it is up to Anna and her friends to figure out who did do it before someone gets away with a terrible murder.

There was a lot of angst, great dialog between all of the characters, and underlying problems for other characters on the island. Will Anna figure out what happens? Read and see.

I love this new cozy mystery series by London Lovett. While there are a few other books in this new series, I would recommend reading the series from the beginning. I gave this book 5 stars!

Other books in the series:
1. Murder at North Pond
2. Death by Rocky Road
3. Ice Cold Killer

We're back on Frostfall Island and (in an event that will probably shock no one) someone has wound up dead. Fortunately for everyone but the killer, Anna is on the case. Well, actually, the bumbling detective from the mainland is on the case, but it's really Anna doing the heavy lifting.

Like the seasoned investigator she is, Anna's soon verifying alibis and taking names. Which means she's soon hot on the trail of the killer. Well, hot-ish. I mean, she has to do a fair amount of figuring things out before everything falls into place.

As if solving a murder isn't enough, she's also dealing with Nate being in a bit of a funk (as one is when a blast from the past rears its ugly head) and some other decidedly mysterious goings on around the house. GOOD TIMES.

Anna is at it again. She lives on this small island, which sounds gorgeous. The descriptions paint such a beautiful mental picture. There is a hockey tournament taking place and naturally, someone meets their demise. With an incompetent and uninterested police force from the mainland, it's up to Anna to figure it out before the culprit leaves town and evades justice. Anna has a cast of characters along side her at her boarding house to help with the case. And a handsome former detective. This series is fun.

Winter on the island is super cold; readers may need some hot chocolate to read this one. Third in the series and things heat up between Anna and Nate, but not so much for the latest murder victim. As usual the assigned detective is incompetent times five and Anna steps in to solve the crime. Some unsettling developments add an ominous touch to the storyline.

This was better than the previous book in the series – better for depth and pace. It's enjoyable while having the complexity of a mystery.

GR doesn't have the audible edition loaded; I did listen to this book using the Hoopla/local library access and the should comment that although it was narrated well, the editing of the narration was poor.

Winter, hockey tournament. Anna and Nate share a sweet date at the fancy gala. A prominent, rich resident is killed in his home. Anna figures it out. Nate goes a little off the hinge when the pillowcase killer reappears on the scene and I think Olive is hiding something from Anna. Something to do with Michael.

This is a great book as all of London Lovetts books are. Anna has to solve another murder because the inept detective arrests the wrong person again. I love all of the characters and the island setting.

I love this author's keen descriptions and sense of humor. It certainly looks like there is something brewing in Frostfall and I'm not sure I'm ready for it, but I guess we will see...gulp.

I’m loving this series. I love returning to Frostfall island and the cast of characters. The island setting is so quaint and cozy and really sets a great backdrop for a feeling of a “locked-room” mystery. I enjoyed the twists and turns the mystery brought, along with some blossoming relationships.

Review alo on my blog at Echos of Books
This is the third story of Frostfall Island. Now this is another fantastic installment. Once again this story was such a quick and cozy read. I really think this book deserves the 5 hearts that I am giving it.

Like all the other times I still adore all the quirky characters in this series. Nate and Anna's relationship is going slow and I mean slow burn that it sort of stopped when there was more info on the killer that alluded Nate while he still worked as a police detective.   Sometimes I still wonder if Anna's husband really is lost at sea.

I really liked al the twists and turns of the book. It is winter in the story. The tourists is long gone but there is still activities going on. This story brings in the murder mystery when Simon Snowstone, the riches man on the island was found dead. And this all started with a hockey tournament.

Once again Anna finds herself solving the murder. She has to untangle a family history to find the killed Simon.

Every mystery that I have read by Lovett goes smoothly. Though there is still mysteries to be solved. Once again you cannot trust the police doing the job but thankfully Anna is there to do a good job. I really loved this cozy mystery and cannot wait to read more from London Lovett.
