This is my favorite book so far in the Auction series. Aspen recently lost her mom. She's about to lose her house and she's drowning in medical bills. She needs money fast, and that's when her friend tells her about the virgin auction.

Evan is the father of Aspen's ex. He sees her in the club getting auctioned off and can't help himself so he bids on her too. They agree to spend a week together. Will they fall in love? Will Aspen's ex/Evan's son understand and accept their relationship?

My Review:

This was quite an interesting story. It was a bit different than I was expecting, but it was still enjoyable and I liked the way that this story was setup. I just love a good auction romance, and even though the steam was a bit more than I would have liked, I did enjoy seeing how this romance evolved. I was a fan of how their relationship comes to light with the son. But I did find this a quick fun sexy read so if you don't mind taboo or erotic romance, then this book is a fun read to delve fully into.

Aspen recently lost her mom to cancer and is struggling to pay the medical bills. She decides to auction her V-card for the highest price. What she doesn't expect is for her ex-boyfriend's dad to be at the action, and that he would pay 5 million dollars to have her.

Phew, this book was fun! I am a sucker for the ex's dad trope, so this was a super fun read for me!

This was a good story, I enjoyed it. The chemistry between Aspen and Evan was sizzling. My only issue was a small daddy kink. That's not my thing so it was a bit of a turn off. At the same time, it felt kind of out of place, thrown in for some extra spice maybe? It only occurred twice so didn't seem relevant to the story. The little bit of kink at the end felt the same way. Overall, I enjoyed it. Kaci is a one-click author for me and while it's not one of my favorites, it's still worth a read.

This was a deliciously steamy age gap romance. I loved the story from the beginning, Aspen was in a bit of a bind in the beginning and she took a drastic step to get out of it and thank god for that. Her chemistry with Evan was amazing and I loved how spicy their relationship was. I really enjoyed reading this story and I look forward to reading more about Club Red but also to read Willow’s story, it really piqued my curiosity.

Kaci Rose is a fairly new to me author but so far I've enjoyed all that I have read and Sold to My Ex's Dad was no exception. It was fast paced, exciting and delightfully steamy. Aspen and Evan had amazing chemistry and this story drew me in right from the start. I look forward to reading more from this author and definitely Club Red.

Why is she here?
Awesome book. Aspen needs money and fast. She is in serious danger of losing her mother’s house after she has died. They had taken out a second mortgage to pay her medical bills and for treatment they had been assured by the doctor would work. But, her mother was gone a week later. Aspen and her friend find a few questionable options and discard them. Aspen learns of one that puts her on the auction block to sell the only thing she has has. Her virginity. Evan is celebrating with a friend but is already planning his escape. All that changes when he sees his dream woman on the stage. His son’s ex-girlfriend, Aspen. He asks his friend what’s actually happening when hears the man next to him shout out a bid and he sees red, immediately. That is not going to happen. He yells at the MC his bid as he approaches Aspen knowing that he will pay whatever he has to in order to claim his prize. Aspen is shocked when he walks into the light from the darkness surrounding him. After being announced the winner Evan escorts her to the back to find out some answers as to how she ended up here. Aspen lets everything out and Evan wonders why she didn’t come to him for help. She thinks that she will be able to take care of all her problems and still be able to go to school with money left over to live comfortably. Evan plans to enjoy the week he has won with Aspen to prove that he wants forever with her. When he asks her to stay she agrees happily. He asks her to organize his office because he doesn’t want to be away from her. His son, Brett, walks into his office at a most unwelcome moment. Evan is furious that ANYONE would enter his closed office. They go home and Brett (and his new fiancée) is there waiting disgusted about their relationship. Not one to back down or let someone get the best of him Evan calls Brett out on his treatment of Aspen when her mother got sick and she refused to sleep with him. The fiancée is shocked but keeps quiet during it all. Aspen makes plans to leave and Evan tries to stop her but, he lets her go knowing that she needs time to process everything that has happened. At home she is finally able to speak to her friend and confirms that she’s safe then tells her all that has happened. Aspen wakes the next morning wrapped in Evan’s arms, surprised that he’s there. They pack her stuff and return to his house only to find his son and fiancée at the table. Evan informs them that he and Aspen are engaged. Brett is furious and says his fiancée won’t stand for that knowing that Aspen is Brett’s ex. Evan basically says that’s too bad because it’s his choice and she doesn’t have to like it. Aspen worries that Evan and Brett will never repair their relationship as long as she is around. Will Evan get the woman he loves and keep his son?.

When she finds herself up on stage, the bidding goes higher than she ever dreamed. The winner bid 5 million dollars for a week with her. This will solve all her financial problems. When she sees the bidder she is confused and aroused. She was sold to her ex-boyfriend's dad who she always had a secret crush on. Aspen is thrilled at the idea of doing all kinds of naughty things with the man she has lusted over for years.

Evan first saw Aspen before she had turned 18. He knows that he shouldn't be interested in a girl so much younger than him and to make things worse she is dating his son. Evan has a deep desire to protect and help out Aspen especially after her mother died but he knows it could kill the relationship between his son and him. Then he goes out with a friend to help him recover from his divorce. The club is auctioning off girls and to his shock, he sees Aspen on stage dressed very skimpily. Filled with possessive feelings and the need to claim her v-card as his own, he bids 5 million on her. Even though he feels very protective towards her, he is not missing the chance to have her v-card. Maybe if he plays it right he can keep Aspen for his own after their week together.

What an exciting read
Aspen is about to lose everything. She has just lost her mother she had a funeral to pay for, she had all of her medical bills to pay for, she had a house to pay for and she had hardly any money coming in. She had a little part-time job but that wasn’t helping much. She had heard about a club where you could auction off your virginity to make big money. So she had agreed she would spend one week with the highest bidder giving them her virginity.
Evan who is out celebrating his friends divorce got the shock of his life when a woman that look like Aspen came on the stage selling her virginity on an auction. You see Aspen was his sons Brett ex-girlfriend and if Evan was true to himself he would admit that he had wanted Aspen from the moment his son bought her home. Evan knew he would bid and win her and get to take her virginity.
I found it very easy to like Aspen and Evan. They had instant chemistry. And when they both admitted they had wanted to spend time together, everything what’s the play for. It’s seen by both had fantasies about each other when Aspen was dating Brett. The passion that these two share is off the charts. It just feels like they belong together all Evan wants to do is look after Aspen and give her the life that she deserves. But what about his son what will Brett think about what his father is about to do??
I found I had to read this book in one sitting. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Gostei bastante da dinâmica entre os protagonistas: há química imediata e a tensão é palpável desde o início. É um daqueles livros que se lê de uma vez só, com cenas quentes bem escritas e um ritmo acelerado que não deixa espaço para o tédio. Também apreciei o facto de, apesar de ser uma história curtinha, a autora ter conseguido dar um final satisfatório, com a sensação de “happily ever after” que fecha bem a narrativa.

Não lhe dei 5 estrelas apenas porque senti falta de maior desenvolvimento emocional. A trama é previsível em alguns momentos e, por ser tão curta, acaba por não explorar a fundo os dilemas e sentimentos dos personagens. Teria sido interessante ver mais do impacto da situação no contexto familiar e pessoal.

Aspen is trying to make it on her own now that her mom has died. The issue is that the bills are piling up and she is about to lose everything. So Aspen and her friend try almost everything to make money. One night while trying to find ways to make some extra cash, Aspen's friend finds a few ideas that might work for each of them. Aspen desperate takes the one that she feels best works for her.
Evan hasn't wanted another woman since his son had brought Aspen home. Even though his son has since broken up with Aspen after the death of her mother, he has kept his distance. Now while out with a friend who is celebrating his divorce, Evan notices Aspen in a precarious situation.
Evan gets to "have" Aspen after winning her at a auction. From there the things go from awkward to explosive in the attraction department. Follow along has Evan and Aspen learn that the other had a deep attraction from the beginning. How they deal with the age difference and how they express what they want after their week is up.

EVAN IS SWOON WORTHY! While Aspen (the h) first met (the H) b/c she was dating his *son*, the two were immediately attracted to each other. If you're into the older man, younger woman (OMYW) romance trope, this story is for you. They're also an element of DDLG between them, but it's not over the top.

What pleasantly surprised me is that it's actually a sweet story. Evan is just swoony. Be still my heart! He's thoughtful and pays attention to all of the small details about Aspen - what she likes to eat, having a blanket available in the living room b/c she mentioned in an earlier conversation that she gets cold in the room. She's had a lot on her shoulders, and he wants to take care of her. Some would think he's overly possessive and too domineering. BUT the dynamic works for them because she's felt so alone. The H is also gentle with the h, and treats her like a queen. How the H's son found out about them was certainly cringe worthy, but I don't want to give anything away. This book is not for everyone, but I LOVED IT.

I really liked this slightly taboo story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were easy to relate to and interesting. Willow was Aspen's friend and she was trying to help Aspen figure out what to do. Aspen was out of ideas and out of time to save her mother's home and pay off all of her mom's medical bills. Willow told Aspen the options that she had found and suggested that Aspen think it over before she made a decision. Evan and Aspen knew each other from when she had dated his son Brett. Evan had gone out with a friend and wasn't prepared to see Aspen on the stage. When he found out what kind of auction it was, he had to protect her. Evan was disappointed that Aspen hadn't come to him for help. The secrets that they had from each other were kind of sweet. There was steam and romance, drama and angst, fun, relationship goals, etc. all in this story. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

However, nothing shocks her more when Evan her ex-boyfriend's father wins her. Sparks fly between them and its not long before they admit that they have had feelings for one another for a while. Evan wastes no time taking care of Aspen and making sure she knows its for keeps. What will happen when his son finds out? Can they find a way to be together?

This is a steamy story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I really loved this story. I would recommend this book to anyone loves a great age gap romance between a protective billionaire & a brave young heroine. Aspen is desperate to pay her mums medical & funeral expenses so she decides the only course of action is to sell her V-card at auction. She is stunned when she see's who her buyer is - her ex boyfriend's Dad. The energy flowing between them is off the charts & the sexual tension buildup soon explodes for some amazing in between the sheets action. Can Evan convince Aspen he wants her in his life forever or will insecurities destroy their once chance at a HEA?
Another fantastic Kaci Rose novel. Can't wait to read the next one.

This book is a part of The Auction series and focuses on Evan and Aspen. Evan has wanted Aspen since he first met her when his son brought her home as his girlfriend. Little did he know that she had always wanted the same things with him. When Aspen is at her last hope to save her mom’s house after her death, she decides to participate in a virgin auction. The last person she expected to win the bid for her is Evan. Evan knows that she is the one for him and is finally done staying away and hiding his feelings. He is determined to get his girl forever. I absolutely loved how Evan takes care of Aspen in every capacity and just wants his baby girl to be happy. This was such a great book and a great addition to the series.

This was a great story with plenty of hot steam. Aspen is in debt so bad that she decides to auction off her v-card. She's at Club Red and doesn't know that Evan is there with a friend celebrating his friends divorce. The auction starts and when Aspen walks out Evan about loses his cool. He ends up buying her and takes her home with him. Evan is her ex boyfriends Dad who she had a crush on while dating Brett. Evan has been in love with Aspen since he met her. He is somewhat glad that he's the one that bought her. They have the most amazing chemistry. Everything is beautiful until Brett shows up. Will Evan dump Aspen because his son doesn't approve? Will Evan go and get Aspen and marry her? Great story.

Her friend tells her about this auction where she can make a great deal of money. Aspen shows up for the auction but her ex-boyfriend dad show up and buy her time for one week.
It was age-gap, insta love, forbidden, taboo, romance, older man, younger heroine.
Evan has been crushing on his son girlfriend during and since the couple broke up. He wants Aspen and the feeling is mutual because Aspen has been attracted to Evan for quite some time too. Evan and Aspen had great chemistry between each other, explosive, intense attraction.
It was an wonderful, exciting, and pleasure reading their love journey.

Aspen is a very determined your woman working hard to keep herself afloat after her mother’s death. She is paying the bills especially the hospital bills but they are overwhelming. I feel her pain and admired her determination. Her friend Willow suggest what Aspen initially thinks is the unthinkable. With no other options she scheduled an appointment to join the auction. From this point on the story revealed some unexpected events with some even more surprises. Evan has been secretly helping Aspen with her financial problems. He is a strong, caring, honest man who I really liked. He is very caring, considerate, and gentle with Aspen. There story was an enjoyable read.

Aspen finds herself in a tight financial spot with her mother's medical bills, mortgage, and second mortgage to help pay for her mother's treatment. She and her best friend Willow, whose story is in another novel, decide they both need to sell themselves. Willow to a mail order bride situation, Aspen to sell her virginity. Evan is dragged to a club with his friends and was shocked to see his son's exgirlfriend there. Since he'd been obsessing about her, he bought her for a week. The attraction is mutual and they share a week of role play and getting to know each other. The scene with the son was tense, as it should be, and good. This is not my kind of story, but it was well written and engaging.

Finally Evan gets to the bottom of everything with Aspen and takes care of it all along with her too.
Wonderful characters each with their own problems and concerns.
Love reading this authors books.
They are full of emotions and you can feel them as you read the books.

I love these Auction Series books. Aspen is trying to save her house, her mothers medical bills have pushed her to the edge. She lost her mom, she can’t kiss the house. She has to do the auction. Evan was at Club Red for a friend. He didn’t expect to see Aspen, the object of his desire for years. She was off limits, his sons ex-girlfriend. But he can’t let anyone else have her. Aspen only stayed with her ex to see his father. Now he bought her, what will happen? So hot! Such a good storyline and characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

I loved this latest story by Kaci Rose. I couldn’t put it down. I loved the interactions between Aspen and Evan.

Aspen needs money to pay off some debts after her mother’s illness and then her death. She knows no other recourse but to sell her V-card. Evan is out with some friends at Club Red when he is shocked to see his son’s ex-girlfriend on stage. He has wanted her for a while now but hasn’t made a move in it though. He is not going to let anyone else get her. Now he has a week to convince her that they could be so much more. Will they stay together when the week is over?

Absolutely loved this!!! Aspen was in financial trouble after the death of her mother and decides to take drastic action by taking part in an auction. Evan was out with friends when he sees Aspen on stage, he won’t let anyone else win the love of his life. Evan has been obsessed with Aspen since she dated his son, keeping watch on her from afar. He wins her and takes her home for the week, now he has a week to convince her to be his forever. Very hot and steamy with amazing chemistry, a light daddy kink, a little drama with Evans son and a beautiful HEA.
