In this Neighbors to Lovers Secret Crush Curvy Girl Blue Collar Romance
Tall, bearded, and handsome Axel Constant knows exactly where his heart lives… she’s across the hall from his apartment.
34-year-old, Axel Constant is a guide dog trainer for one of Boston’s largest non-profit foundations ‘Pawfect Friend’ that has recently fallen on hard times. A firm believer in the importance of service four-legged friends for children in need, he’s training his furry pals for free now and has to work two jobs to support himself. There seems to be no time for love or distractions in his very busy life, but then a beautiful girl moves right next door, and boy, if he doesn’t want to bark at that tree! But what could he possibly offer to such a lovely woman?
Tess Fetchin is a 24-year old, newly minted vet that just moved to Boston, finicky cats and grumpy old turtle in tow, to work as a surgeon in an established vet clinic. Busy with the move and her new work, she doesn’t think she’ll have time to find someone, but then she meets the eyes of the only man that has ever made her heart thump and wag across the hall, the only problem is he doesn’t seem to be interested at all.
Fate will come running unleashed right into danger, in the shape of Didar, a spirited Husky puppy and will bring them together.
Dear Reader:
This story is as fuzzy as a tiny, fluffy puppy as sweet as honey and as steamy as the scalding first sip of your favorite blend of tea. There’s NO-cheating, no OW/OM drama, it has a guaranteed Happily Furever After and features a tall, dark and handsome protective alpha who also loves puppies and babies —what more could you want in a guy?!— an adorable curvy cat-lady heroine who knows how to wield her sass just like she does a bistoury, and an endearingly naughty puppy just waiting to put a smile on the face of a child in need.
Come on in, grab a puppy, cuddle up and stay a while!
*Please note that this novella was previously released as part of the anthologies ‘Must Love Dogs’ and ‘Book Boyfriend Starter Set’. It’s now being republished after having been revised and re-edited, but the story itself is the same.
USA Today bestselling author Ember Flint writes sinfully sweet, high-heat, feel-good romance filled with over-the-top love, rough, dirty-talking, fiercely protective alpha heroes, and sassy, curvy, heart-stealing women. Her stories come with no cheating and a guaranteed happily-ever-after.
A hopeless romantic and proud HEA Defender since 2017, Ember believes in love at first sight and adores tea, gloriously unrealistic steamy reads, and anything colored or scented lavender.
This was a fantastic little story. Starts off with both MC's hesitant yet completely in love with each other. Who wouldn't fall head over heels for a man who loves dogs and kids and is so sweet yet possessive. -dual POV -no cheating, abuse or OW OM drama -neither virgins, no details on either past -epilogues 4 years later & 5 more years later Definitely recommend reading!
Sweet love story. Sadly no virgins here but they are both faithful. No cheating, no other man, no other woman, sweet HEA with 2 kids and pregnant heroine. I really like this author.
Axe and Tess are too tongue tied to express their feelings for each other when they are in proximity. He is a trainer and she is a vet surgeon. His pup he was training got loose and was in an accident. She was the surgeon on shift when she brought him in to been seen. A kiss of gratitude leaves both breathless and an adventure of fur and wonder. Nice characters and meaningful story.

Axe is putting his love of animals and his desire to help other people to good use as he trains service dogs as well as working full time. When one of the dogs is injured in an accident he had no idea that the vet would be the sexy neighbor he can’t stop thinking about.
Tess’s job has brought her to town and although she hasn’t made a lot of friends yet she has her menagerie of animals to keep her company. She has met Axe casually but thinks he would never be interested in someone like her but when his dog becomes her patient it becomes a game changer.
Although this was a case of instalove the glimpses of them in the future were great to see.
I really enjoyed this story. Both Axel and Tess were attracted to each other but they were both scared to act on it until an accident brings them closer. I loved the attraction and chemistry between them. So good. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This book completely captivated my heart! Flint has created two amazing characters that you just can't help but fall in love with, and root for a HEA.
Axel (Axe) is first and foremost a trainer for guide dogs. When the foundation he wotks for is in financial trouble, he volunteers his time while also working construction to pay the bills (16-hr days). Unfortunately that leaves no time to ponder his intense attraction to his new neighbor, Tess.
Tess is new to town, just having completed her veterinary training and getting a job as a new vet surgeon. Having dedicated herself completely to school, she feels like a complete idiot every time she runs unto her super hot neighbor, Axel, whom she can't stop thinking about.
These two each think the other is way out of their league, and are bound for a rocky, cross-the-hall relationship. That is until unfortunate events bring Axel to her clinic. Didar, his husky trainee, was accidentally freed from the yard and hit by a truck. Relief and celebration are enough to have Axel let down his guard. Tess too.
Tess saved Didar's life, but would it be enough to keep him a guide dog? Was the celebratory kiss a one-off, or was there more to come? To find out, grab a copy & hunker down with this fluffy husky pup and his two human friends!

This is a wonderful sweet romance that will draw you in and keep you engaged until the last page
Axel (Axe) Constant trains service dogs for children with disabilities though at the moment he is doing that for nothing after one of the directors embezzled the funds meant to pay the trainers Sp meanwhile he is working every hour that he can so that he cn still train the dogs. Meanwhile a new resident has moved into his apartment block Every time he sees her his heart beats a little faster he thinks that she could be the one. Tess and her animals have recently moved to Boston so that she can work as a vet at a nearby clinic, she thinks her neighbour is hot and that he could be the one but every time he speaks to her she either clams up or stutters he must think her an idiot A dog named Didar is about to throw them together he is a dog that Axe is training but when he escapes the compound and is hit by a truck he has to rush him to a vet and that vet is Tess Will she be able to save Didar is this the chance these two have been waiting for Do they have a future together and will Axe get to keep on training dogs You will have to read to see
I really enjoyed this story. The characters were so sweet and awesome. They were well developed and easy to relate to.
Axel (Axe) is a guide dog trainer for ‘Pawfect Friend’. The foundation has recently had some hard times. Axe believes in the importance of service friends for children in need, so he’s training his furry pals for free and is working two jobs to pay his bills. He has no time for anything else, but his new neighbor makes him wish that he did have time!
Tess is a vet that just moved to work as a surgeon in a vet clinic. Trying to help her pets adjust to the move and her new work, doesn’t leave her a lot of time to meet someone. Tess certainly isn't prepared for her neighbor to make her heart beat faster. Now her only problem is that he doesn’t seem to be interested.
This story had all kinds of feels. Loved how they got together. Their interactions with each other were great. I did a lot of smiling while reading this book. I definitely recommend it!

I read the first version of this book in Must Love Dogs anthology but I have to say this version is way better. A little more information on Didars care and progress, a little more information about Axel and Tess's relationship as it progresses. How Axel meets her variety of pets and builds a connection with all of them even the grumpy turtle. How the relationship progresses over time, this book has extended epilogues expanding a few years later. The intimate scenes are believable and detailed but they are few, I believe that the story is based on the service dogs and the children they help with a romance blooming in the middle of it all. The description gives their feelings the book gives you their story. We have mention of what happened to the funds for the training facility and how they have to cut costs but not how the were able to rebound from that debacle. This was a great and emotional read for a dog lover like me.
This was an awesome quick read that I wish could have gone on and on. Super sweet with such a a great story concept. I loved the characters. They were so easy to fall in love with. Tess and Axel are perfect for each other. Tess is a Vet who specializes in surgery and Axel is a dog trainer, specializing in training dogs for children with special needs. It is so sweetly written.
Written as a 1st person, multi pov with a HEA.

I loved this book so much. I previously read this book as part of the Must Love Dogs anthology. I loved it then and with the new additions I love it even more. Axe is a dog trainer for special needs kids. Tess is a vet. These two lived across the hall from each other neither one really making a move until a spirited little husky named Dindar came into their lives. You should read this book. You won’t be disappointed. Ember does a great job. I can’t get enough of her writing. The epilogues were fantastic. There were 4 of them!

I don’t know what could be better about this book! An alpha male, a strong smart heroine, an adorable husky and even some cats and a tortoise! Jess and Axel just make my heart melt. Axel believes Jess is too good for him and Jess mistakenly believes Axel doesn’t like her. Luckily there’s an adorable husky to bring them together and enough epilogues to satisfy your sweet tooth. I highly recommend this book! I revived an advanced reader copy of this book via booksprout in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Well neighbors that like each other and by a sad circumstance... they finally get together. So great it was romantic and sweet and steamy. HEA with awesome epilogues. Great book with funny animals and big hearted characters.

This is a very sweet story. I love the animal characters and how shy the main characters are with each other in the beginning. When they finally get together it is almost a insta-love romance. If you need a sweet short story to ready before bed or during your lunch break, pick this one.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it’s a really enjoyable short light read. I love animals and so a book where they are written into the story with such love is a winner. Looking forward to more from this author.

I really liked this book, both characters were really relatable and I loved their growing relationship from neighbours to lovers, I'm always a sucker for neighbour romance stories. The book stayed focused on the main characters with other characters mentioned here or there to flesh the book out but they were forgotten as soon as you finished reading about their interactions with the main characters. I loved that they both loved animals so much which I found made them more real and relatable, it seemed to give them more personality but I must admit I did feel some sadness when the main characters felt sad when it came to certain pets/animals which I shall not spoil any further for you, once you read you shall understand. Both the hero and heroine were strong characters, with the hero being protective and manly whilst still being caring and having some femininity when the time called for it, and the heroine was cute and adorable but managed to be strong and assertive when it came to things like her job or supporting the hero. AND boy do I love a good epilogue, this really clinched it for me, a good epilogue makes the rest of the story worth it as you cannot wait to see where life has taken them, even if they are only fictional, you do get attached some what, and these epilogue finished the book quite nicely and tied everything with a bow and didnt leave me wanting or as if something was missing.
If I had to pick at something in this book, hence the 4 and a half stars, it would be that the book description didnt fit with the story, it talked about the hero being so busy between his multiple jobs but you never got to see that because suddenly the hero and heroine were in a relationship and they had all this free time for each other, even though the point about him have more than one job to make ends meet and that she had just started a new job and it was like the jobs were there in the beginning but after a while it was like they weren't, again this is just something that nagged at me and my OCD-ness.
That is not to say that I didn't enjoy this book and I was definitely be reading it again in the future.

This was a sweet story about two people that are too busy to date. When Tess moves into the same building as Axel the sparks fly but both of them are awkward when it comes to talking to one another. Unfortunately one of Axel's puppies gets out of the pen and injured, Tess comes to the rescue for Didar, the puppy, and Axel. Is this the accident that can reset the awkwardness and give them the chance for a HEA? Enjoy this sweet story that is a quick read with a couple epilogues to paint you the picture of their future. Enjoy!

Unleashed love is a novella that is/was a part of the ‘’mist love dogs’’ anthology. This book has been released separately with two extra chapters and an extended epilogue. I haven’t gotten around to reading the anthology yet. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. The chemistry between Axe and Tess is clear to see and I loved the, as a couple. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
Tess is a vet with a crush on her neighbor Axel an animal trainer. Little does she know that Axel is trying to find a way to express his hidden feelings for her; she's his. When Didar a dog that Axel is training is hit by a truck it is the unfortunate ice breaker that they needed. Their love of animals is bringing them together.
I loved it. The characters and story line are awesome. Great read!

A well written short story that held my interest until the end. 34-year-old, Axel Constant is a guide dog trainer and thinks he has no time to date as he is working two jobs to be able to train his dogs, then 24-year old vet Tess Fetchin moves next door. One very special dog Didar will bring them together. I enjoyed reading this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Unleashed Love is a feel-good romance with wonderful characters, including many animals.
The storyline is well written and enjoyable, with a vet moving in next door to a man who trains guide dogs, neither of whom have time for love. This sweet romance has drama, danger, and steamy romance. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
Axel and Tessa’s love for pets brought them together. I liked how easily their relationship evolved but kept feeling like I was missing something. Their were some grammatical errors that threw me off but nothing too major. Overall good story but they can have all that chaos!!

A steamy, short, inspiring, and engaging page turner! The story line is well-developed, funny, emotionally deep, well written, and relatable. Likeable characters; the chemistry between them is intense, and off the charts. Definitely recommended.
