The first book in the Sam Steadings series and it certainly wont be the last l read.
Gripping page turner which brilliantly brings alive the late 1980s era and Hong Kong in the later days of British control.

This is a well written, fast paced novel with enough police procedure and references to make it realistic without compromising the story telling. The characters, local references and descriptions really give a feel for Hong Kong in the 80s. Definitely worth a read and I look forward to book 2 in the series.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book and looking forward to the second in the series.
